Chapter 27
Next Day…
I woke up to warm arms around me yes Jake slept over last night but we didn’t do anything but talk for hours till the sun rose. I looked at my clock to see it was 3 in the afternoon.
I slowly and carefully tried to get out of bed but I felt Jakes arms tighten around my chest
I smiled and laid back down ‘Jake I think it’s time to get out of bed do you really want to sleep the day away’ I asked him
‘If it means having you in my arms then of course’ he chuckled letting a sigh out
‘That’s a bad line Jake, so come on I’m getting out of bed and hopefully you are to because there might be a little present for you in the bathroom if you do’ I said making the last part seductive
Jake jumped up and looked at me with a smile ‘Alright I’m up’ he said looking down at me
I got off the bed and went to my closet and grabbed my black jeans, Atreyu top, and under garments. I went to the bathroom and turned the shower on and striped out of my pajamas. I was about to step in when I heard a knock
‘Are you going to let me in’ I heard Jake ask from the other side of the door
‘Nope but maybe later on’ I shouted
‘Awe come on babe’ he whined knocking again ‘let me in ill shut my eyes and be good’ he said trying to sound innocent
‘Nope you just have to wait’ I teased and stepped into my warm shower.

I dried and straightened my hair, put make up on, got dressed and opened the bathroom door to find a note on it
Went home to get dressed I heard your cousin come in I’ll be back in an hour

I went to my room and put the note on my clock and made my bed a bit. I took my guitar out and started playing my own tune
‘Jez cuz you could have told me you didn’t want to see me’ I looked up to see my cousin pouting at my door, I put my guitar down and ran over to him, giving him a big hug
‘Thank you so much for trying to bring me back’ I whispered against his chest
‘It’s fine I just really missed seeing that white lynx’ he said kissing my head
‘You’re like the only family I have besides my dad and I don’t even think he cares about me’ I said letting Monti go and sitting on my bed
‘Well your dad is on the rez and I do know that he is getting in touch with himself that’s why I’m mainly here’ he said.
I was confused he said he came for my birthday but than again I don’t recall telling him when I was born
‘So your telling me you only came here cause of my dad’ I asked him getting up from my bed
Monti shook his head a bit and stood up ‘No that’s not it your dad told me you were here with Heather and told me I could come down and stay for a bit and watch over you’ he said, I turned to my door and walked out and felt Monti follow
‘So my dad couldn’t call me and tell me he doesn’t trust me here alone anymore’ I said sarcastically
‘I don’t know but I’ll go home if you’d like’ he said heading to my dads room where he had his stuff
‘You don’t have to’ I said crossing my arms and walking to the kitchen grabbing some bacon that was left on the oven on a plate.
‘Great well I’m going to exercise in the woods is you know what I mean’ he winked and walked out the door.

Hours passed and Jacob didn’t come back which was fine so I grabbed my phone, keys, TNA wool hoodie, and scarf. I headed out to my car and drove off.
I was on the road that took me to the Cullen’s but before I could cross the treaty line up ahead of me I found 2 wolves; Embry’s and Jake’s. I pulled the car over to the side and got out.
Jake’s wolf walked up to me and nudged my shoulder
‘Sorry I was away babe but I was talking to Embry’ I heard in my mind
‘It’s fine so what’s happening that you had to stop my car’ I said sarcastically
Embry and Jake went behind a tree, came out in cut off shorts walking back to me. I hugged Jake and he did the same to me
‘So what’s going on’ I asked them
Embry looked uneasy rubbing his neck ‘Is it true that Heather is revolted by human blood?’ he asked quietly
I shook my head ‘yes why?’
‘Is it true also that she can enter dreams and put herself to sleep?’ he asked me again and I gave him the same answer
‘So is this why you haven’t been by to see her is because she’s a vampire now?’ I asked him knowing the answer.
He looked up to me and nodded and yes; I slapped him in the face which surprised the boys
‘How dare you…she is your imprint, vampire or not you should be by her side especially after she’s been through so much. You think she chose to be a vampire Embry, no of course she didn’t! She’s hurting because you’re not by her side, did you not learn anything from what happened to me you bastard!’ I yelled and growled threateningly at him
He looked up at me astonished ‘I know she didn’t want to be a blood sucker but vampires and wolves are sworn enemies. Of course I’m hurting and I know how she feels she’s been entering my dreams’ he growled obviously frustrated
‘Embry prove the balance of nature wrong you can over come anything doesn’t matter what you are. I’m a lynx and Jake is a wolf; you know that our species hate each other yet here we stand’ I said walking back to my car and getting in.
‘By the way you can stay with your pack and not be with your imprint or you could head to the Cullen’s with Jake’ I shouted shutting my door and riding to my destination.

Parked my car in the drive way and headed inside. I went to the living room to find Heather talking toCarlisleand Esme.
‘How’s your day going’ I turned to see Jasper
‘Good I guess I ran into Embry and threatened him
‘That’s nice I can tell your stressed about it though’ he smirked sitting on the couch and I sat beside him
‘Of course you can mister emotion reader’ I said laughing resting my chin on my hands which were propped up on my knees
‘Kora guess what!’ I heard Heather say coming over to me and sitting on my lap like a little kid
‘What/’ I asked her
‘I’m going to join the Cullen coven and move in here!’ she said happily
‘Congrats!’ I said throwing her off and getting up to give her a big hug; it was still intimidating to see her red eyes but it didn’t matter to me she will be my best friend forever.
‘Emmett, Jasper, and Edward will head to your house and bring Heathers things here and put them in an empty room we have’Carlislesaid coming over to us
‘So Monti can take your room awesome!’ I said in a sarcastic happiness.
I walked over to Edwards music room were he had his piano and found him writing. I went inside and sat beside him
‘What you doing’ I asked him
‘Just writing a song for you’ he said giving a crooked smile my way
I tilted my head a bit in confusion ‘Why me?’ I asked him feeling awkward
‘Because you’re my best friend and I felt like it’ he said nudging my shoulder and I did it back to him
‘Show it to me’ I said nodding to the piano
‘Alright but it’s not much’ he said and started to play.

When he ended I have to say it was a beautiful song Edward called it Love Death Birth but I call it magical.
Edward and I went to the living room and found everyone fighting. I looked at Edward and he looked at me we were both confused.
I made my way through and stood on the coffee table. I looked to see everyone ignoring me up here so I only did the first thing that came to mind.
I screamed at the top of my lungs which everyone stopped yelling instantly. Looking around I could see Embry and Jake was here
‘What the fuck is going on here with the yelling at each other thing!?’ I yelled to everyone
‘Simple Embry and I can’t be together because he can’t stand the fact that I’m a vampire now’ Heather yelled to me
‘No it’s because she’s going to be staying here that’s why’ Embry yelled looking at Heather
‘This is simple Embry and Heather stop yelling at each other and work it out your imprints simple as that’ I said ‘Now why is everyone else yelling’ I finished
‘The wedding it’s off till next year till Bella’s birthday’Alicesaid frustrated
‘It’s Edward and Bella’s wedding also that means it’s there decision not the families’ I said and got off the table.
‘Hey lets go somewhere special’ I heard Jake say in my ear and it made me melt and weak kneed
‘Alright lets go you can drive’ I said giving him my car keys and leaving to where ever.
