Next Day…

 

I woke up to warm arms around me yes Jake slept over last night but we didn’t do anything but talk for hours till the sun rose. I looked at my clock to see it was 3 in the afternoon.

I slowly and carefully tried to get out of bed but I felt Jakes arms tighten around my chest

 I smiled and laid back down ‘Jake I think it’s time to get out of bed do you really want to sleep the day away’ I asked him

‘If it means having you in my arms then of course’ he chuckled letting a sigh out

‘That’s a bad line Jake, so come on I’m getting out of bed and hopefully you are to because there might be a little present for you in the bathroom if you do’ I said making the last part seductive

Jake jumped up and looked at me with a smile ‘Alright I’m up’ he said looking down at me

I got off the bed and went to my closet and grabbed my black jeans, Atreyu top, and under garments. I went to the bathroom and turned the shower on and striped out of my pajamas. I was about to step in when I heard a knock

‘Are you going to let me in’ I heard Jake ask from the other side of the door

‘Nope but maybe later on’ I shouted

‘Awe come on babe’ he whined knocking again ‘let me in ill shut my eyes and be good’ he said trying to sound innocent

‘Nope you just have to wait’ I teased and stepped into my warm shower.

I dried and straightened my hair, put make up on, got dressed and opened the bathroom door to find a note on it

Went home to get dressed I heard your cousin come in I’ll be back in an hour

I went to my room and put the note on my clock and made my bed a bit. I took my guitar out and started playing my own tune

‘Jez cuz you could have told me you didn’t want to see me’ I looked up to see my cousin pouting at my door, I put my guitar down and ran over to him, giving him a big hug

‘Thank you so much for trying to bring me back’ I whispered against his chest

‘It’s fine I just really missed seeing that white lynx’ he said kissing my head

‘You’re like the only family I have besides my dad and I don’t even think he cares about me’ I said letting Monti go and sitting on my bed

‘Well your dad is on the rez and I do know that he is getting in touch with himself that’s why I’m mainly here’ he said.

I was confused he said he came for my birthday but than again I don’t recall telling him when I was born
