Nandinis pov ...
I woke up first to find myself
cocooned in maniks arms. His hand wrapped around my slim waist and his head on my shoulder. His breath fanning on my neck. Just a mere thought of we both being together made me blush like hell. I knew it will take time but soon all things these siblings are hiding will be infront of me and that too manik will let me know everything. That was the height of my trust on him.
I slowly unwrapped his hand which was around my waist and slowly moved his head to the pillow and stood up. He was still unwell soo I covered him with the duvet and walked out of his room to freshen up.
After having bath and everything, i went to kitchen to get food for manik. I told kaka to send food to maniks room and started walking towards his room. But on the hallway i heard someone screaming.
"What the hell do you mean you forgot" i recognized the voice it was of Cabir.
I silently moved inside the room to see manik sitting leaning against the headboard and Cabir standing infront of him giving him deadly glares.
"Dude I slept off " came maniks answer.
Before Cabir could say anything i spoke.
"Cabir" i said walking in and stood next to Cabir.
"God !! Finally, nandini tell me why the hell are these medicines untouched" he spoke showing the medicines he gave me yesterday. Oh shit !! I forgot to give manik yesterday, how irresponsible of me. Before interrogating him I should have given the medicines. I could feel maniks eyes on me.
"Woo...I'm sorry I forgot to give him" I said keeping my head low. It's my fault I shouldn't have let manik distract me.
"But what were you doing manik except eating your food and taking medicine" Cabir asked turning his head towards manik. Manik panicked and I could clearly sense that he would say something out of haste which I would hate so I just hope he won't say something that's gonna ....
"Nandini is the reason I forgot to have medicines" manik spoke out.
And all my hope went into gutter!!
Man I'm soo gonna kill this ...this...God !! Why am I not getting any suitable words.
"What the hell does that suppose to mean ?? I didn't do anything alright, I was just asking you about the bruise and you ...you " I snapped at first but got stuck in the middle. How can I forget cabir is in here. I don't want him to know I slept BESIDE manik.
" what did he do??" Cabir asked with suspicion look.
Hugh!! I need to calm down. That egoistic jerk. I will take care of him later but right now I need to get out of here before I burst out and spill out everything.
"Look, I asked him about the bruises he didn't answer me and I got mad that led to fight and I stormed off THAT'S IT....and you (pointing at manik who was controlling his smile looking at her getting out of control over her anger) I'm out of here. JERK" I spat out and stormed off cursing manik in all the languages I knew. First manik didn't tell me about the last incident and second I was mad at myself for forgetting about his medicines and all the anger came once and poped on manik.

Manik was smiling and Cabir had an amused look on his face as Nandini walked out of the room.
"Dude, never let her go she is just perfect for you" came the words out of cabir's mouth.
"I won't" manik muttered to himself smiling looking at the closed door.
Just then servant came and kept maniks food on his near by table and went.
"Manik the way she got pissed that you didnt tell her about yesterday looks like you tell her everything happening in your life recently" cabir asked raising his eyebrow.
"Ye...ah kind off" manik took sitting uncomfortably.
"But why didn't you tell her this" Cabir asked.
"I ..I don't know" manik shuttered.
"Do you feel like she will leave you if she gets to know the truth" cabir asked sitting on the bed.
"No she won't, no matter how bad the truth may be" manik answered spontaneously.
Cabir smiled...
"So you trust her" Cabir asked.
"A littleee more than I should" manik said squeezing his right eye a bit.
"Than what's the problem"Cabir asked.
"Cabir she's been through a lot in her life, I just don't want her to get disturbed by my problems" manik spoke.
"Dude , you just sounded like a 'crazy - in - love' lover boy" Cabir said quoting the quoted line.
"Yea....what !! CABIR" manik agreed in a daze but soon realized what Cabir said and lashed out.
"Hehe ...sorry man but if you don't tell her she's gonna burst your ..."Cabir was interrupted by maniks angry tone.
"Dont you dare finish that cabir ....it's gross" manik said crunching his nose.
"Oki fine but you know what I meant right" Cabir said.
"Cabir yar I know she is growing mad as I'm avoiding this topic but it's just that, what I did in past isn't something that someone will come and tell me it wasn't my fault and I will forget all that and move on.. cause clearly I made a mistake. It's my fault and even you can't deny that" manik said.
"Man I know you made a mistake, everyone makes mistake manik and you made a bigger one but that doesn't mean you will punish yourself like this" Cabir said, concern was all over his face.
"It's the least I could do to take over my guilt" manik told.
"Manik just let her know, if there is something going on between you guys and if you want it to last long then just tell her" Cabir told.
"But if she gets to know about this, she will obviously try to change my mind and she won't let me go there then what will I do to control my anger Cabir" manik spoke in helpless tone.
"Manik next time you go out of control you won't need that cause SHE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU" Cabir said patting maniks shoulder. Manik was silent as he didn't have words to say.
Cabir stood up and walked near the door
"And haa finish your breakfast and don't forget your medicines before starting your mission" Cabir said. Manik raised his eyebrow having no idea on which mission he is talking about.
"Ohh I was talking about manaufying your wildcat mission" Cabir said with a wink and went out.
Manik smiled and ate his breakfast and took his medicines. He went to washroom to clean himself up. His chest had bruises and his left jaw was slightly swollen and his fever was down so was his drowsiness.
After all this manik came out of his room and went to nandinis room. He thought of knocking but if she gets to know it's him then she will lock her door and even latch it.
So he slightly opened the door to find nandini walking in the room from one corner to another with a frown on her face and cursing someone while punching her left hand using right fist. Manik knew she was in very bad mood so he took a deep breath to calm himself.
Manik came in and Nandini turned around.
Looking at manik all the anger came back. Manik smiled nervously.
"WHAT. ARE. YOU. DOING. HERE" Nandini asked folding her arms around her chest.
"Wanted to talk so..." manik told still smiling nervously.
"Ohh really that's great" she said filled with sarcasm and went near him held his wrist and dragged him slowly and made him sit on the bed and asked.
"Go on , tell me how did you get this art work done on your chest and jaw" she said smiling sarcastically.
Manik wanted to roll his eyes but didn't want to provoke her more so he stayed quite.
"What !! Ohh wait you just don't trust me enough to tell your precious secret which I might tell everyone ....." she started telling dramatically waving her hands in air looking totally pissed but stopped abruptly when she heard his sentence.
"I go to street fight" manik told as couldn't handle her ranting.
"Wh..at !!" came nandini's broken voice after realizing what he said.
