Your pov
You leaned your head on the palm of your hand, mocking the way Arthur was staring at Alfred across the park from the cafe you were at. He had it so bad for Alfred. Seriously, this was get out of hand. You'd had to save him from falling down the steps at his own house this morning when a shirtless Alfred joged by, winking at him. The only reason you were even at the park is because Alfred works out here. You let out a snort when you heard Arthur sigh longingly.
"Oh for the love of God, if you like him that much, go ask him out," You said, nudging his shoulder.
"Absolutely not!" He responded, turning red. You raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why?" You asked.
"What if he rejects me, (Y/N)?" He muttered, shifting around. You laughed softly, shoving his shoulder.
"So what if he does?" You asked, taking a swig from your water bottle. You really wanted to see them together. It was so obvious that they were both into each other, just by the way they blushed when the other one laughed at their joke or something like that. It was cute, in a way. You didn't really understand what Arthur was waiting for.
"I'd never be able to speak to him again. It would be far too embarrassing," He muttered, burying his reddening face into his hands.
"I don't see what your afraid of, Arthur. You should go out there and do what scares you. Pee into the wind, man, live a little," You said, running your fingers through your (H/C) hair. Arthur gave you a glare through his fingers as you watched the tips of his ears turn pink.
"I don't see you running off to confess your undying love for, Alistor. You have no room to talk," He shot back. It was your turn to blush. It was true, you had a thing for his brother. You turned a little in your seat, catching a glimpse of the red head out of the corner of your eye. It was then that an idea struck you.
"Okay, I see your point, but what if we both did it," You said, smiling gently.
"What exactly do you mean?" He asked.
"I mean that, you go ask the All American out and I'll go do the same with your brother," You said, elbowing him lightly.
"What if he says 'no'?" Arthur asked, wringing his hands. You laughed, shrugging.
"Then, fuck it, he didn't deserve you anyway," You laughed. Smiling, you pulled him out of his seat and gave him a shove in Alfred's direction, perhaps a little too forcefully. He landed in the middle of Alfred's chest. With a quick thumbs up sent his way, you approached Alistor, who was leaned against a tree that overlooked the duck pond. He was drinking something out of a flask. You planted yourself next to him.
"Hey, Alistor," You said, smiling over at him.
"Hello, lass," He said, holding the flask out to you. You gladly accepted it, throwing down some of the alcohol it contained. It burned nicely as it went down and you passed it back.
"Bourbon?" You asked. He nodded once, tipping his head back again.
"Ya just here to bum a drink offa me?" He asked with his signature smirking smile. God, it was so hot when he did that. You didn't even know why you thought it was attractive.
"No, but thank you for that. I was actually here to see if you'd go on a date with me," You said, casually. He was mid drink as you said that and he choked.
"Wha'," He wheezed before continuing to hack harshly. You slapped his back a couple times, worried.
"Jesus, Alistor, breathe," You said, rubbing his shoulder. Finally, the coughing died down and he took a deep breath. You laughed, shaking your head. "Are you alright?"
"Fine," He responded.
"Okay," You said, still rubbing his shoulder. He was still hunched over from his coughing fit, so he was closer to your size.
"This isn't how I figured this would go," He grumbled to himself.
"You and me both," You giggled. He glanced at you with his dark green eyes, seemingly unamused by your statement. He couldn't exactly say you were wrong, but he knew that you knew what he meant.
"Are ya free Friday night?" He asked. You smiled, sweetly at him.
"As a bird. Pick me up at eight?" You said. He smirked back.
"Eight it is, lass," He confirmed. His eyes were attached your (E/C) ones.
"Try not to choke on basically nothing again, then," You teased, ruffling his hair. He blushed a little and pulled your (S/T) hand out of his hair. Now that you'd accomplished your task, you looked over to find Arthur. As soon as you spotted the blond mop, you smiled. His lips were joined with Alfred's. Alistor followed your gaze and chuckled, deeply.
"They're way ahead of us," He joked. You turned so the two of you were chest to chest and smiled.
"We could always catch up," You offered, not expecting it to work. It did. Alistor grabbed you around the waist and by the back of the neck, kissing you. You were startled at first, but eased into it pretty quickly. His lips were soft, though slightly chapped, not that you minded. You wrapped your arms around his neck, treading your fingers into his hair. He kissed you softly, like he was afraid of breaking you. It was kinda sweet when you thought about it. When you pulled back, you smiled at him. He smiled back.
""m doin' that again," He said, pecking your lips again. You giggled, leaning into him more. You glanced over your shoulder to see that Arthur was doing the same thing. You smiled at him and he shot back a gigantic grin. You shot him a quick thumbs up before locking lips with Alistor again.
