"Aquarium Date"
• Hyungwon's pov •
My eyes slowly opened as I felt warmth, I looked down to see a peacefully sleeping Aira.
How can she looked so gorgeous while asleep? I stroke her hair lightly as she slowly opened her eyes as well.
"Morning, jagiya", I said in a morning voice and planted a kiss on her forehead
"Hm morning", she yawned and stretched her arms
"How long have you been staring?", she smiled and looked over at me while I lazily lay in bed
"I wasn't staring, I was admiring", I smirked as she rested her head in my chest
"This feels so unreal", she muttered
"I know and I love waking up next to you", I held her waist tighter
"Where should we go today?", I asked as she looked up
"Huh? We're not going anywhere with these clothes", I laughed and patted her head
"Of course we need to change first. Now where do you want to go?", I rested my chin on her head
"I heard there's a new aquarium just opened last week", I smiled instantly
"I love aquarium, come on let's shower", she pulled away from me instantly
"No way you pervert! I wanna go home first to shower and change", she stood up
"It'll waste more time, just shower at my place, wear my clothes and we can go to your house for quick change", I said it in one breath
"That's actually a smart plan", she nodded approving as I chuckled
"I'm a CEO after all, of course I'm smart", she snorted and headed to the bathroom
"Need company? It can save water too!", I yelled
"NO THANKS", she yelled and closed the door.
• Aira's pov •
Hyungwon and I stopped by at my apartment before our date to the aquarium. I was about to open the door when someon opened it first.
"Honey you're back!", It's my mom. She hugged me tightly and averted her gaze to Hyungwon
"Oh my son you're here!", she hugged Hyungwon as well while he smiled. I swear my mom couldn't be more embarrassing ...
We went inside and no surprise my whole family is in my apartment
"Hey dad, Minggyu", they greeted me back and Minggyu suddenly smirked
"Hey mom, check out Aira's clothes. I'm sure it's not hers", I looked down and glared to Minggyu
"Omo! She's wearing his clothes! Did you do it last night?"
"MWO?!", I covered my red face as Hyungwon chuckled nervously and scratched his neck.
"Dear, you can't just ask them straight away like that, they'll get embarassed! So, did you do it?", my dad wiggled his eyebrows as Hyungwon cleared his throat. He looked red as tomato.
"NO! Stop asking nonsense! Even if we did it, we won't tell you", they all laughed at my statement
"Okay darling, go change for your date", she gestured me. I looked over at Hyungwon as he nodded
"Don't talk about anything weird to Hyungwon when I'm not around okay?", I walked to my room as I heard a faint yell
"No promises!", that was my mom's.
Since we're going to the aquarium, I decided to wear a simple denim jacket and underneath it is a flowy broken white dress. I paired them with brown sandals and a choker.
I heard someone knocked on my bedroom door. It was Hyungwon and he was eyeing me up and down.
"My baby looks so pretty and are we going for twinning? because I'm totally up for it", he smirked as I looked at the mirror
I realized that we're wearing an almost identical denim jacket.
"Totally not on purpose. I can change though",
I was about to open my wardrobe but he grabbed my hand
"Ugh you wasted the whole 30 minutes already. You're fine, besides now everyone will know we're a couple", I blushed a little as we bid goodbyes to my family.
The aquarium was bigger than I thought. It was huge in fact. Hyungwon's eyes also travelled the whole front entrance. He acted like a child seeing something new for the first time.
"Come on, Aira. Don't be so slow!", he practically ran to the counter to buy tickets. Surprisingly the lady in the counter noticed us.
"Omo, aren't you the new Chae CEO? and isn't this the lucky soon-to-be Mrs. Chae?", Hyungwon smiled as I nodded shyly. It's not that I liked the name or anything! I haven't even agreed to his proposal..
We said thanks and headed inside the aquarium. It was really beautiful. Hyungwon won't stop looking at the fishes while his hand still glued to mine. I don't mind though, seeing him smile a lot give this bubbly feelings in my chest.
"Yah Chae! That fish looked just like you!", he looked at the direction I'm pointing
"Aye~ that fish looks nothing like me", he shook his head
"It is! Look at those huge lips. I don't see the difference", I teased
He then approached the fish and purposedly puckered his lips to follow the fish. I took a picture of it and we both laughed. Hyungwon and I took some selfie together and it's time for lunch.
"Ah I'm hungry", My stomach growled as he chuckled
"It is already past 12", he looked at his watch as we headed back to the car.
"Where should we eat~", I playfully hummed as Hyungwon came up with a place.
"I know where we can eat meat as much as we want", he wiggled his eyebrows as I suddenly remembered something
"Kihyun's place!", we both chanted
• Kihyun's pov •
I can't believe mother forced me to supervise her restaurant, she has assistant for god's sake! I lazily slumped onto the chair until I noticed two familiar faces.
"Yah you guys!", I cheered as they both greeted me
"Hey ahjumma!", Aira cheered and I nudged her arms
"I'm a man and don't copy my 'ahjusshi', that's my style", I proudly smiled as Hyungwon chuckled
"Yeah a man with womanliness", I hit Hyungwon's stomach as he yelped in pain
"I'm kidding hyung!", he whimpered
"So what brings you guys to the best restaurant in Korea?", Aira scanned the place and looked amazed.
"To eat free meat", Aira smiled
"Huh?", I looked at her confused as Hyungwon patted my shoulder
"Remember the bet when we're in highschool?", he smirked as I recall which bet. My eyes went big as I remembered that bet.
"Damn it! It was almost 5 years ago! It doesn't apply anymore!", I yelled
"You said it applied until I die", he showed me a recording of my voice saying the bet.
"I wanna kill you right now", both of them laughed, I just sighed and showed them their table
"Just keep it from my mom or else she'll make me work for summer later", They nodded
I called the waiter and listed them the best beef menu. Three of us were chatting until Hyungwon asked me
"How are the others hyung?", he muttered
"Oh they're doing well! You knew our plan to go on the trip together right?", I reminded him
"What trip? with who?", Aira ranted
"Monsta X", Hyungwon simply replied
"No girls allowed?", Aira pouted
"NOPE", Hyungwon and I chanted at the same time as Aira laughed.
"Fine. That means I can go with my girls too", Hyungwon suddenly turned his head to Aira
"Where are you going?"
"We haven't plan it yet but Lisa said she wanted to visit Japan"
"Don't go too far, you're all girls. It might be dangerous", I chuckled at his statement
"You sounded like her dad", Both Aira and I bursted out laughing while Hyungwon just shrugged.
"Anyways, how's work Aira?", she suddenly glared at me and stepped on my shoes.
"Ow what was that for!", her eyes pointed to Hyungwon who looked alarmed
"What work?", he looked at Aira intensely
"Oops. You haven't told him yet?", Aira sighed as she shook her head
"Do you want me to tell him or what?"
"Tell me what?", Hyungwon said in a low voice
Aira turned her head to me like she's reaching for help and I nodded
"She got her dream job", I smiled widely to Hyungwon
"Fashion editor?", Hyungwon raised an eyebrow
"Well still the assistant but yeah", Aira lower her head
"That's good news then! Why are you so afraid to tell me?", Hyungwon looked at us both in confusion
"The thing is.. I worked for your company's enemy....", Aira waited for Hyungwon's reaction but his expression is unreadable. I also gulped a bit.
"Which enemy? Park? Kim? or Jeon?", he put a slice of meat in his mouth. I know I should be used to the cold Hyungwon but since I haven't seen that attitude for a long time, I shivered a bit.
"The Jeon's...", Aira suddenly held my hand in fear.
Hyungwon was quiet for a while. We both looked at each other. I mouthed 'I'm sorry' as she said it's okay.
"Oh", he finally uttered.
"You're not mad?", Aira breathed out in relief as I did too.
"No", he coldly stated while he looked up
"Oh thank god-", Both Aira and I about to say until he cutted us off
"Quit the job tomorrow", my jaw dropped as Aira gulped hard
"But I haven't been the-", Aira tried to defend her six months old job but she got cutted off again
"No but", he finally spoke.
We all ate in silence after that.
• Aira's pov •
Hyungwon didn't utter a single word after what happened at Kihyun's place. Kihyun repeatedly said sorry both in person and texts. It's not his fault, I need to tell him sooner or later.
"Jagiya~ Are you still mad?", I poked him lightly and he sighed
"No, I'm just a bit upset", he mumbled
"I'm sorry, I should be telling you first. But I thought you would know since you said you watched over me", I lightly held his hand as his face softens
"I knew you work but I didn't know it was Jeon's company"
We were in a bit of traffic so the car would occasionally stopped.
"Why did you apply to my company's enemy when you knew our rivalry?", he looked at me curiously
"Oh well let me clarify something first. I didn't know your family owned Chae Enterprises until Kihyun told me that night and also! I applied to your company but got rejected completely! I was upset!", he tried to held in his laughter but failed. He exploded.
"Oh my Aira, HAHAHAHA aigoo such a cutie", he ruffled my hair
"It was true though!", I sheepishly smiled as he held his stomach
"By the way, who's the name of manager that rejected you?", he lightly asked
"Oh ehm his name is Kwon Hyunsik! I do have good memory you know?", he nodded and took out his phone
"What are you doing?", he's calling someone
"Hello, secretary Kim, can you notify Kwon Hyunsik that he no longer need to work starting Monday?", my jaw dropped and I snatched his phone away
"He didn't do anything wrong", I scolded Hyungwon as he retrieved his phone
"He turned you down and because of that you're working with my enemy. That's a huge mistake", he was about to get back to the phone but I stopped him
"He didn't know who I was.. For god's sake let the man keep the job or I'll jump out of this car", he sighed and mouthed 'fine'
"No need to fire him just lessen his salary, give out warning and made sure he remembered my fiancee's name", he then hanged up and looked over at me
"You don't have to go that far. It's so unfair", I crossed my arms as he turned my head so I can face him
"I won't do it again okay? I'm sorry", my face softens as he kissed my cheek.
"Now that you're happy, can I keep my job?", I smiled as cute as possible but he suddenly turned expressionless again.
"No", I sighed in defeat
"Wait one more thing, is your boss the son?Jeon Jungkook?", he sounded a bit alarmed
"Never heard of his name before", I assured him as he sighed in relief
"Give your resign letter tomorrow, understand?", I was hesitant but he said he will let me fight for my own job at a better place so I nodded.
"And if you seen or heard of Jeon Jungkook, just walk away okay babe?"
So yeah i decided to add a new character and it's my all time bias in BTS, Jeon Jungkook! I'm happy to tell you that other BTS members will make an appearance in this story too^^
