It does, though; a long, fluffy, sleeveless red gown, connected up by my neck, and a button on the back of the collar. It has some flowers and gems scattered along it, glitter, too; not the typical wear for this type of occasion, which makes it that much more amazing.
As I finally reach him, he wipes at his watery eyes with his right hand, and takes one of mine in his other.
