Holy crap! Guess what?! A NEW MOTHER FUDGIN' CHAPTER OF THE SEQUEL, GUYS! Okay, first of all, I apologize. My mom's not home right now so I managed to jump on Wattpad and upload a chapter of this that you have been waiting a long time for. I'm really really really (x1000000) sorry! I should be studying right now 'cause my mom's expecting me to but c'mon, I need a chapter of the sequel up! So, here's a chapter that will hopefully make up for my lame and stupid excuse for not coming on that often.

So, I really hope you like this chapter and I'll work on chapter 14 later! I can't promise you this but chapter 14 might be up this....Friday? I dunno. But stay tuned for that :D

So, enough of my blurb, enjoy the chapter!

"If the weapon is your love, I got my hands up.

If you're gonna take me down, I surrender.

I'll give you anything you want,

Just don't leave me alone.

This is a hold up, this is a hold up.

If the weapon is your love, I got my hands up."

- "Hold Up" by Demi Lovato

-----------------------------------------

"Ariana! Are you ready? We're leaving in a couple minutes!" I heard Carter shout on the other side of the door.

"I'm coming! Hold on a sec!" I called back as I did my last minute check on my make up.

I smiled, grabbed my purse and blue mask and scurried out of my room.

I carefully walked down the stairs in my silver strap heels, grabbing onto the railing and found my mom, smiling at me. She whispered something to my dad and he lifts up his camera and snaps a photo of me. I rolled my eyes and finally reached the front door.

There at the door was Derek, dressed in a black tux with a white mask in his hand.

Mom and dad set Derek and I up to go to the dance together. Of course, I didn't mind because I was going to Cameron at the dance. We promised to meet each other there.

    Everything was perfect.

I linked arms with Derek, put our masks on and dad took the 500th picture of us together.

"Okay, Landon, I think that's enough pictures. Let's let the lovely couple go off to their dance." mom told dad.

    "Alright, alright." he gives in.

"Ready to go?" Carter asks us.

    I smiled, "Yes, we are."

I gave mom and dad, one last goodbye and headed out the door to Carter's car.

I got in the back seat as Derek gets in the passenger seat beside Carter.

"Alright, who's ready for the dance?" Carter says as he turns on the engines.

    "I am!" I said, cheerfully.

"So, do you have a date to the dance, Carter?" Derek asks Carter as we drove out of the driveway.

"Nah, I'm going solo tonight." Carter replies.

"Why not going with your friends?" I asked him.

"They have dates. It's better off not to bother them."

    "Aww, Carter..."

"No, it's fine, Ari. It's fine. I'm good."

"I'm sure there's a girl there at the dance dateless. Maybe you can ask her to be your date for tonight." Derek suggests.

"You, my man, are a genius. I'll have to turn on my flirt mode then." Carter says, cracking a grin.

I smiled and rolled my eyes, "Oh Carter..."

When we arrived at the school, we all got out of the car and put our masks on.

As we walked towards the entrance, I saw Cameron standing by the main entrance.

"Hey Ari." he greets me with a smile.

"Hey." I greeted back and hugged him.

He puts on his mask and smiles, "Ready?"

"Of course." I said and linked arms with his.

"Have fun, kiddos." I heard Carter say as we walked into the school.

"You look beautiful tonight, Ariana." Cameron whispers to me.

I smiled, "You look very nice yourself."

    "Ah, Cameron."

We both turned around and faced the Dean of the school, Mr. Parker.

    "Hi, Mr. Parker." I greeted.

"Hello, Ariana." he responds with a smile.

    "Uh...hey." Cameron says, nervously.

"I'll have to expect appropriate behavior tonight, Cameron." Mr. Parker warns him.

    "Yeah, don't worry." Cameron replies.

Mr. Parker nodds, 'Now, go have fun you two."

I smiled, "Thank you." And Cameron and I walked into the gym.

Music was pounding through the speakers when we entered the boisterous gym.

Cameron and I pushed through the crowd of people bouncing up and down to the beat of Party Rock Anthem, trying to get to the other side of the gym.

When we finally managed to escape the crowd, I heard my name being called.

I looked around and found Kerri with Jesse, walking towards us.

"That is you right, Ariana?" Kerri says.

    "Yup." I replied.

"Good. 'Cause I recognized the dress and the mask." she says with a smile.

    "Hey Ariana." Jesse greets.

    "Hey Jesse." I said, smiling.

"You two look so cute together." Kerri says.

    "Aw, thanks." I replied.

"So, where's Derek? And your brother?"

"I guess they disappeared right after we got into the school."

I looked over to Cameron, talking to Jesse, "How are you and Jesse?"

"Great. He's being sweet, as always."

    "That's good."

"Hey, I'm gonna go get a drink. You want some?" Cameron says to me.

    I smiled, "Yeah, sure."

He smiles back and walks over to the table of snacks and drinks.

    "Hey, there you are, Ari."

I turned around and saw Derek, waving at me.

I smiled and walked over to him as Kerri starts talking to her boyfriend.

    "Hey." I said.

"Are you doing, okay?" he asks.

    "Yup, are you?"

    He nodds, "Yeah."

"Have you seen my brother anywhere?" I asked.

"I saw him pushing around in the crowd over there." he replies, pointing to the crowd of people dancing.

    "I hope he doesn't die." I joked.

    "Haha, yeah..." he chuckles.

"Here's your drink, babe." Cameron says, bringing me back a cup of punch.

"Thanks, Cam." I said, taking the drink.

He smiles and then turns to Derek. He frowns and grabs onto my waist.

    "Hey Cam..." Derek greets.

"Please don't call me that, Arwin." Cameron snaps.

    "I was just being frie---"

"Please, guys, not here." I said as Cam pulled me closer to him.

Derek glares at Cameron and then looks back at me, "I'll be...over there." And walks away.

I sighed and looked at Cameron who was still frowning.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

He nodds, "Yeah...He's just pissing me off lately."

I gave him a swift peck on the lips and smiled.

"Sorry about that, Ariana." he apologises.

I ran my hand through his hair and nodded, "It's okay."

When the DJ announces the couples to take the dancefloor, he puts on Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade.

"Um, Ariana...would you like to dance?" Cameron asks me.

    I smiled, "Of course."

He takes my hand and we walked over to the middle of the gym where all the couples were slow dancing and swaying.

I wrapped my arms around Cameron's neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I rested my head in the crook of his neck and shoulder and closed my eyes.

This was the moment when everything around us was gone and it was just me and Cameron. It justed wanted to stay like this forever.

"I love you, Cam." I whispered, softly.

He kissed the top of my head, "I love you too."

When the song ended, the DJ played Nicki Minaj's Super Bass and everyone was back to dancing insanely.

I opened my eyes and looked up at Cameron who was smiling at me.

"You two are so cute together! Why am I so jealous?"

I turned around and saw Kerri with a grin on her face.

Jesse smiled, "I gotta admit. You two are something."

I blushed as Cameron intertwined his fingers with mine.

"Say, have you seen Derek?" Kerri asks.

    I glanced around the gym.

    No sign of Derek.

    "No..." I replied.

"I haven't seen him at all tonight. I was hoping to take a few pictures with him." Kerri says, sadly.

    "I'm sure he'll show up---"

"Found him!" Kerri shouts, looking at the crowd.

I turned to where she was looking at and found Derek, talking to...Fiona.

"Ew, why is he talking to her?" Kerri comments.

I continued to look at Derek and Fiona. Fiona was giving him flirty smiles as Derek runs his hand through his hair.

"Suspicious?" I heard Kerri whisper to me.

I hesitated for an answer, "I...I dunno."

"Who knows what she's telling him or what they're talking about."

I glanced at them once more and lightly shook my head.

No, no Ariana. Don't let them bother you. I'm sure they're just talking as friends. Just friends.

"Starting to feel something there, Ari?"

I turned to Kerri with a surprised expression on my face, "No!"

"Ah-ha." she chuckles, "Well, whatever you say then." And she walks off, smirking.

"No! Wait! Kerri! It's not---oh forget it!" I said.

I sighed in defeat and headed towards the table where Kerri's bag was. I sat down and placed my purse on the table, next to Kerri's. I sighed once again and glanced around the gym. People were boucing up and down to the beat of "I Wanna Go" by Britney Spears in the middle of the gym. There was several people in the corner, surrounding a girl who was crying...probably crying for not having a date or something like that (or possibly a break up). People chatting at the punch table. Some people in another corner, arguing about the dress that they both wore at the same time.

    Yup, typical high school dance.

I looked around some more and spotted Fiona and her "followers", chatting and giggling. Probably about Derek. They spotted me looking at them and I turned away. From my peripheral vision, they gave me cold stares. I looked down at my lap and sighed, sadly.

When I was about to decide to get up from the table and search for Kerri, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I slowly turned around and I almost choked at who I saw.
