Delani's POV
"WHAT'S UP GUYS! Who's ready for the Livestream!? My name, as you all know is DeMonicEye, and I am joined today by my good friends, Bella and Ryder! We are going to be raising money for St. Jude's Charity. The nice thing is, we don't touch the money at all, everything goes right to them. So without further ado.... Let the Livestream begin!!" I yelled throwing my hands into the air.
Jack's POV
I had my phone out watching Delani's stream with Mark. We tried not to laugh too loud since we were in the airport waiting for our plane.
"She's a natural at this..." Mark mumbled.
"I know. I'm glad she came back ta YouTube." I mumbled back.
*timeskip*
Monica's POV
It's been about five hours into the stream and I was laying on the couch, about to fall asleep. It was about midnight and I was exhausted. I couldn't exactly fall asleep because that note from earlier was eating at my mind. I heard the front door knock and I immediately went on high alert. I grabbed a bat that I kept in the closet and quietly walked to the door. I cautiously opened it slowly and looked outside. The door was pushed open from outside and I lost my balance falling backward on my butt. The bat fell to the floor and I looked up as the bat was picked up from the floor.
"Did you really think you could get rid of me so easily?" the man asked.
He brought the bat over his head and brought it down on me. Immediately everything went black.
Delani's POV
I heard something fall downstairs. It was the middle of the night during my livestream and nothing scared me more than the games we were playing for the stream.
"De, you okay?" Bella asked.
"Y-yea... I thought I heard something." I said looking at my door.
"De, you have the game volume up really loud. It was probably something in the game." Ryder pointed out.
"I-I don't care, I want to check it out." I said as I took off my headphones.
I grabbed my bat from the corner of the room and quietly walked down the steps. At the bottom of the steps I saw the front door wide open. The baseball bat my mom hides in the closet laid on the floor covered in blood.
No...
I rushed around downstairs and mom was nowhere to be found. I went back towards the door and that's when I noticed the thin trail of blood leading out the door.
No...
That's when I see a piece of paper on the door. It's lines were blacked out except for a few words and letters.
Sweet... D...e...l...a...n...i..., it's been a long time since I've seen my sweet little sidekick. I finally found the thing I've lost a few years ago. Don't worry, nothing will happen to her. I will look after my sweet ... M...o...n...i...c...a.

I wanted to scream. I wanted to punch something. That son of a bitch took my mom. I pulled my phone out and called dad.
Jack's POV
Mark and I made it ta our hotel room. We just sat down on the couches in the main room when my phone started buzzin' on the kitchen counter. I walked over and saw it was Delani.
Strange... It's in the middle of her stream...
I answered it.
"Delani?" I asked.
"DAD! MOM WAS TAKEN!!!" She screamed.
"Wait... Breathe. Hold on, I'm putting ya on speaker so Mark can hear too but ya don't have ta yell." I informed her.
As I pressed the speaker button Delani started talking.
"BREATHE!?!? YOU WANT ME TO BREATHE!!! MOM WAS JUST KIDNAPPED!!!! There is a God damn bloody bat on the floor and blood tracks leading out the door and mom is nowhere in the damn house and you want me to breathe!?!?" Delani yelled.
I exchanged looks with Mark. He had anger and fear in his eyes and I felt like I was going to be sick.
"You want to know the worst part? It's by someone we all really hate!" She shouted I could feel her anger coming through the phone.
"Who?" Mark asked.
"Soren." She said flatly.
That son of a bitch...
Ryder's POV
Bella and I sat playing games for Delani's stream. It's been awhile since she left.
"Should I go find her?" I asked.
"Let's both go..." Bella huffed.
She looked exhausted. I looked at the stream,
"Okay guys, we are going to be right back. We are going to check on Delani. We promise to not leave you hanging." I told the stream.
I watched the chat scroll through with messages.
"It's okay, we understand."
"We all love her, we want her to be okay too."
"Please check on her!"
"Please don't leave us too long!"
"Make sure she is okay!"
There were a bunch more too. Bella and I got up and went downstairs. We both stopped when we saw Delani staring out the front door which was wide open. There was a crumpled piece of paper in her hand. I saw the blood trail leading out the door and the bloody, wooden bat on the floor as well.
"Delani...?" I asked.
I saw her body start to shake. I looked at Bella and motioned for her to stay there. She nodded and I saw the worried look in her eyes. I slowly descended down the stairs over to Delani. I barely touched her arm and she spun towards me and grabbed my hand. I saw the hatred in her eyes and I could barely feel my hand.
"De..." I mumbled.
I saw the hatred subside in her eyes to be replaced with fear. Her hand suddenly let go of mine and immediately covered her mouth to suppress a sob as she started crying. I immediately pulled her into a hug. She cried into my shoulder as I rubbed her back. I looked at Bella,
"Go tell the stream that we are sorry, we have to postpone the rest of the stream for another time. Something went wrong, and I'm not letting De continue like this." I said.
Bella nodded and ran back upstairs. I heard her muffled voice as she told the stream. I focused back on Delani. I closed the front door and took her to the living room by the kitchen. I sat down with Delani, who was still crying, in my arms. Bella eventually joined us but sat on a different seat.
"De...?" I asked.
She wouldn't stop crying nor would she look at me.
"De... You need to breathe." I cooed.
I felt her trying to breathe.
"De..." I mumbled before placing a quick peck on her forehead.
We all were silent besides the quiet sobs of Delani.
"He took her..." I heard Delani say between sobs.
"Who?" I asked.
"Soren... He took mom." She sobbed.
Soren... That's Monica's ex who should be in jail!
"What is he doing out of jail?" I heard Bella ask.
Delani started to cry again. I felt so bad. I didn't know what to do.
She doesn't deserve this....
Monica's POV
I opened my eyes, I was strapped to a chair. A light above me and everything around me was shrouded by darkness.
"So she's finally awake..." A voice hissed
That voice...
"How have you been?" It asked.
It's so familiar...
"I'm sorry that it had to be this way..." It hissed again.
...but so evil...
"...I had to reclaim what I had lost..." It whispered in my ear.
...it sends chills down my back...
I felt them place their hands on my shoulders, gently, as if I was fragile like porcelain.
"I lost you for too long..."
That's when everything hit me...
Me opening the front door,
The door getting pushed open,
I was on the floor,
The bat was raised in the air,
The darkness greeted me...
"My sweet Monica... I've missed you so much..." The voice said as a hand reached out in front of me.
It came out of the darkness into the light. It caressed my face.
No...
I quickly turned my head and bit the hand.
"OW!!!!" He shouted, "YOU FUCKING BITCH!!"
He slapped me across the face.
"Why would you bite me? You are no animal." He said.
"I know I am not one, but you are the other hand are." I spat.
I heard him sigh in frustration.
"Why are you doing this, Soren?" I questioned.
"So she does remember my name... How sweet." He said.
"Shut up!" I yelled.
He slapped me across the face again, harder than the first.
I felt his presence disappear. I knew I was alone now. Alone in the darkness.
Delani...
Jack...
Mark...
...Help me...

I'm aware that I'm posting this earlier than other chapters before this but I was actually smart and outlined the rest of the story so I actually have a fookin' clue of what I'm doin'!
