** Aiden **
I hadn't stepped into Aimee's office yet. Afraid of seeing Jasmine lying there like that so here I am pacing back and forth in the hallway constantly trying to summon the courage to go in there.
Kaleb is just as scared as I am, I can see it on my poor boys face. Kaleb is sitting on the sofa that is situated by the door, Addison is inside with Aimee and Lily.
The door opens and out walks Lily in tears "I didn't know she was pregnant" Nate comforts her taking her away as Kaleb looked at me confused. Addison walks out and looks up at me
"Lily sensed all her powers are back, but Aimee says her body has under gone huge amounts of pressure, just like before but worse, she has lost a lot of blood, Aimee has injected the stuff and it has awaken her wolf to help her which is very good, after her wolf awoke she started breathing"
Addison smiles but then suddenly changes to sadness "We had to clean her up" Addison gestures to her stomach "we found a stab wound just where her womb is, I just hope her wolf and her powers heal everything otherwise she may not be able to have anymore children" Addison was fighting back the tears as I pulled her in for a hug
"It's ok, we will get through this" I hear a cough behind us and see Marcus frowning, I look down to Addison who was crying staring at her husband. His face had transformed from confusion to worry in the instant he saw her face. I've always envied that about him, he never jumped to conclusion when it came to his wife, he knew if she didn't want to marry him then she didn't want to be with him.
Me, have you seen my mate? She is stunning and I won't get use to seeing other unmated wolves checking her out because she is beautiful. At the same time she is with me, I'm just really possessive of my things and I guess it's an alpha thing.
I haven't really had to be over possessive because she's practically been at my side or with Addison. She's never been alone with men I don't trust except for that one time with Richard when she blocked me out but that was my fault I jumped the gun a bit. Ok I'm just going around in circles, I can't help but be stressed out, my mate looks lifeless on that bed from the glimpse I had when Addison opened the door.
"Son" I say to Kaleb "Are you hungry? It's almost dinner time?" He nods his head
"What about you?" He asks as I shake my head
"I'm not hungry, come on I'll go take you to the kitchen"
"Whose gonna be here?" I smile at Kalebs protective side
"Mum will be fine, Aimee hasn't left the room, we will feed you then we can both tackle seeing mum together yeah?" I watch him nod his head.
"My boys!" We hear my mum yell out as we enter the kitchen. I had a room taken care of whilst we stay here. I was not going to stay at home while Jasmine is here and Kaleb agreed
I'm too worried to eat right now so I focus on getting my boy fed and some rest. He's been through a lot "Dad you need to eat something" To be completely honest I haven't slept since they took my family and I don't really want to sleep until my girl is ok but I can feel sleep trying to take a hold. I look down at Kaleb and smile as he put food on his fork and tries to feed me
Kaleb has a determined look on his face as he looks to me then back at the fork "Are you using your alpha powers on me son?" Kaleb smirked at me
"Is it working?" The hopeful look on his face made me give and I nod opening my mouth to the forkful of food. I wasn't going to tell him it didn't, he just looked too adorable trying to take care of me. I moaned at the taste that burst in my mouth and the energy I suddenly felt I was getting back which I didn't realise I didn't have.
We sat and ate for a few more minutes before I picked my tired looking son up into my arms. "It's ok son, you both go to Jasmine" my mum says kissing my cheek and the top of Kalebs head. I smile and run circles on Kalebs back while his head is rested on my shoulder
Never would I imagine going through this when I found Jasmine. The goddess never intended for me to be fated to have a quiet easy life. I'm glad she fated me to my best friend, my first love and love of my life. I wouldnt trade anything in my life for a simpler one, I'd rather get the hardship over and done with.
Kaleb chose the moment I opened the doors to the infirmary, Aimee's office to wake up. I was frozen in my spot as I saw her lying there. Kaleb turned his head to look at her, closing the door behind me Addison and Marcus look up and smile
"Finally built up some courage to see her" We both nodded our heads towards Marcus "Like father like son" We all laughed and sat beside her.
She still didn't look like she was breathing but she did look better than when I brought her in. Her skin looked flawless, when I touched her there was no tingles no sparks no familiar warmth between us
"You look confused alpha" Aimee says walking in "She did mention that in this state, even when she looks well and her physical form is healed, you won't feel anything until she is close to being herself but then from a doctors perspective when she wakes she may have a temporary memory loss, I don't know it's all on her"
I held her hand hoping I could feel anything but at the same time missing the touch she gave me and the touch I gave her
Her skin feels soft beneath my touch, her skin was still her beautiful golden colour, her lips plump and ready for me to kiss
"Thank you for cleaning her up, I think she would be mad if she woke up in a mess" they all laugh knowing well it could happen "You guys should get some sleep, we will stay with her tonight" I say as I look at them all. Aimee nods her head
"Wake me if anything changes" she says and leaves the room
"Same goes for me too" Addison kisses the top of my head as well as Kalebs "Try to sleep"

I woke up with Kalebs arm wrapped around my neck behind me as I lay on my side with my arm wrapped around Jasmines waist. He must have moved during the night, I smile glancing back as he snores lightly in my ear. I'm still getting use to this feeling, being a father it's indescribable. I had caught myself watching him sleep at night before Jasmine would wrap her arms around my back.
Jasmine, my Jasmine lying next to me, stiff as a board, no sign of drawing breathe. Oh my love would you do something to show my breaking heart that you are there? I move my head into the crook of her neck and inhale deeply
"I love you"

It's been five days since she has been home and each day Kaleb and I have sat by her side. While Kaleb ate, I would bathe her and touch her softly imagining the sweet sound of her moans. A tear was caught falling from my eyes.
A sign of a weak alpha was one who cries, but fucked if I care when the health of my mate is at stake. Let any other alpha come and tell me otherwise, it's her that gives me strength.
Kaleb rushed in with a worried look on his face and that's when Ethan called me through the mind link
'Rogues!'
"Kaleb go with your grandmothers and stay with them until I come for you" He grips on to my waist tight
"What about mum?"
"I'm here Kaleb" Aimee says. Kaleb hesitantly nods his head and I quickly lead him to where my mother was
I rush out the door and shift to find a pack of rogues fighting our pack in front of the pack house
"Guard the house, if any break through the warriors, rip them apart before they get here" I sense my mum behind me, I can always count on my mother. She taught me everything she knows and every other wolf here.
"Dad!" Kaleb cries out. I snap my head back to him before I shift "Get the black wolf with red eyes" I frown "He was the one who always hit mum"
Fuck! I growled so loud as I shifted, everyone that was guarding the house where all the children were, stepped back feeling my rage.
I was going to rip his fucking throat out and feed it to him. I ran out feeling the ground beneath my paws. My wolf was a dark grey, the spawn of my parents. The greatest alphas of their time. They had done many things while I grew up, bringing peace between the packs and having an annual meet where unmated wolves can meet their mates. It saved so much time, because when you think about it who wants to have wolves from other packs roam freely throughout their pack, through the whole year.
Show me one alpha who does it. I ran out fighting my way through. I couldn't find the black wolf with red eyes anywhere.
I felt the pain of some of my wolves and the rejoice of those that killed. It wasn't until I felt a wolf dig his teeth into my neck, that I snapped back trying to get them off but once I caught sight of who it was, my anger took a hold of me.
I threw his body weight off me forcing him to collide with another wolf. I was in pain but I wasn't going to let that stop me from killing him. I tore off after him when another wolf barreled into me forcing me to the ground. The black wolf strode over with an evil glint in his eye. He knew who I was. I shifted to escape the wolf that was top of me, when I felt another wolf bite down on my leg.
I use my other leg to kick him in the nuzzle. He released my leg and I quickly got up and grabbed the other wolf with my hands around his neck, holding it tight I felt the snap of broken bone.
That's not all I felt, I felt teeth sink into my flesh, right where I was bitten before in my neck
"FUCK!" I cried out as the wolf latched on and bit deeper.
** Addison **
While my mate was out there fighting, I was more worried for my best friend. Because they were after her and anyone else that was a half breed but mainly her. She was stronger and they found her a threat.
I just want her to wake up and kill all those fucken bastards who did what they did to her. I could see through Marcus's eyes what was happening. Aiden was fueled by rage and he was tearing it up out there.
That's when we heard him, our alpha cry out in pain. He was in human form and he was bit by a huge black wolf in the shoulder. Blood was everywhere but that's not what shocked me.
Jasmine shot up from her sleeping position with a loud gasp as if she held her breath for a long time. Her eyes shot open, tears fell from my eyes seeing her finally awake
It took for Aiden to be in great pain to wake her from her slumber.
She blinked her eyes adjusting to the light then slowly brought her feet to the floor. As she stood she collapsed to the floor, rushing to her side I help her up along with Aimee on her other side
"You've been out for nearly a week honey, be careful"
"Aiden" She whispered "Take me outside, quickly please" I could hear the desperation in her voice. She was wearing a singlet and shorts, I wasn't gonna bother with shoes at this moment.
As we exited the hallway, you could see people rushing around "Mum" We both saw Kaleb with Lily
"Stay here son" He nods but I couldn't help but stare at this little boys evil smirk on his face like he knew what was happening next. I frown when he smiles at me. 'You cheeky little boy' I mind link to him and he laughs hugging his grandmother.
I pushed the back door open where everyone was fighting, well that's where I knew my mate was fighting along with hers. There were pack warriors standing a few feet away from the house and they all snapped their heads towards us
"Luna" they all whispered bowing their heads and stood back to attention as if she wasn't standing there.
I heard her gasp, looking down at her I see her tears. Where she was staring I followed her train of sight and saw Aiden being held by a man with his hand in Aidens wound, keeping it from healing.
Jasmine growled and despite how much strength she has, she stepped forward
"Oh you finally awoke" We could hear that voice clearly, not like he was yelling "Your stupid mate here thought he could kill me"
I could feel Jasmines anger "Move" I say to the pack warriors 'Baby what is going on? Jas is awake?' Marcus says and all I could do was nod, I was watching Jasmine to make sure she didn't fall or collapse to the ground
As the guy went to speak again, it looked like he was choking. Aiden struggled to look up and smirked through his pain. The guy let him go and his hands went anywhere but Aiden as he fell to the ground.
In fact all the rogues were choking. It gave time for our pack wolves to heal and get away. That's when I had never in my years seen an invisible force remove hearts straight out of their bodies. Jasmine fell to her knees as the hearts were crushed, blood splattered everywhere.
She sighed and collapsed to the ground. I rushed over as did a now healed Aiden. I lay her on her back to check for a pulse and this time she had one
"She just fainted honey, she's breathing" Aiden picked her up and carried her back into the infirmary.
"At least now I can truly feel her"

She woke up!!! only to faint again! Aaarrgghh. Hehehe
