Chapter Twenty-Five
"What about this one?!" I exclaimed happily as I spotted one of my favorite movies of all time, and quickly pulled it off the shelf.
Turning to Seth with a smile spread across my face, I laughed lightly when I saw his expression as he stared back at me, "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days, huh..." Seth paused for a moments before he closed the short distance between us, "I hope you're not planning on trying to lose me in ten days," He whispered.
Laughing, I shook my head, "As long as you don't give me a reason..." I spoke with a smile before leaning in to him, my lips mere inches away from his ear, "Is there something else that could drive me away...Wolfy?" I whispered softly, smiling as I watched him fight the urge to shiver from the feeling of my breath on his neck.
Watching Seth chuckle lightly at calling him Wolfy, I reached up and drew my hand along his jaw as he tightened his hold around my waist. "No, not that I can think of," He spoke after a moment.
Smiling, I let my hand fall from his face to his chest, and marveled at the feeling of his firm chest beneath my hand. As my hand lay comfortably placed, I couldn't help but desire to remove his shirt and feel his warm skin, but quickly cursed myself mentally for thinking somewhat naughty thoughts.
Clearing my throat after a moment I sent Seth a smile after I cleared my mind of unclean thoughts, "That's good..." I spoke softly.
Watching Seth give me a cheeky grin, I smiled at the sight of him, and felt my heart pound harder in my chest.
As we stood there, a grin remained on his lips, "Your heart..." He mumbled after a moment, and I watched as the corner of his lips curved up into a cocky smirk. Sending him a glare, I fought desperately with my cheeks, and ended up not able to contain the blush that struggled to spread across my cheeks, but eventually took it as a whole, and had me dropping my gaze away from his.
"Say one thing about my cheeks and I swear..." I spoke not finishing my sentence, leaving the threat open for imagination.
Hearing Seth laugh, I watched in the corner of my eye as he grin took over his face, "Alright," He spoke holding his hands into the air in surrender.
Standing in silence for a moment, I brushed my hair behind my ear, and yelped lightly as Seth suddenly swept my feet from underneath me. "What are you doing?" I wondered, looking up at his face.
He smiled down at me, "You didn't look like you were going to be moving any time soon, and I was getting impatient..." He admitted quickly.
Rolling my eyes, I laughed lightly, "Getting impatient to watch 'How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days'?" I teased, a grin spread across my lips in full.
Ignoring my comment, Seth walked us down the stairs and into the living room, stopping just before the couch, "Actually, I was getting impatient to cuddle with a pretty girl as we don't watch 'How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days' but better yet 'Insidious' " He spoke with a grin as he sat me down on the couch softly.
"Insidious!" I exclaimed, watching Seth walk towards the television as I hugged tightly onto my knees, "I can't watch that..." I spoke suddenly covering my eyes.
Seth's soft laughter touched my ears ever so softly, and within moments I felt the couch dip as he sat next to me, "It's not that bad," He laughed, leaning closer to me, "Plus I'll protect you," He whispered softly, his warm breath sending chills down my body.
Trying to keep my composure, I felt my strength slipping as Seth leaned down further only to rest his warm lips on my neck. "You'll save me, huh?" I struggled to get past my lips, "Well...What would I need saving from? I mean he movie can't come alive and get me, the only thing I would need protecting from is this big bad wolf, but even he isn't that bad anyways," I teased a smile spread across my lips.
Hearing Seth growl lightly, I took a sharp breath, and instead of pulling away from him like any normal person would, I leaned my head slightly to the side and gave him more room for his lips to wander.
Moving his lips slowly up my neck, I sighed softly as he came to a stop at my jaw, at where he pulled back and titled my head towards him. Slowly Seth began to lean in towards me, and just as I thought his lips were going to touch mine, he quickly moved and placed a kiss sweetly on my cheek, "The movies starting," He whispered against my skin, a smile forming on his lips as he turned away from me and faced the television. Rolling my eyes, and trying to calm my pounding heart, I lowered my face into my hands and let out a soft sigh. "Hmmm? What could that sigh mean?" Seth spoke softly.
Lifting my head up out of my hands to meet his eyes, I couldn't help but smile at his adorable expression of wonder. "That sigh just so happened to be a calming technique," I told him honestly, and saw a smirk forming on his lips as he most likely knew I was talking about calming myself from the effects he had on me, and quickly decided to shut down that, all true, thought, "For the movie..." I lied quickly.
Nodding slowly, I could read his disbelief towards my words right off his face, but was pleased that he decided not to bring up his suspicion. "It's not that scary of a movie..." He spoke, snaking his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to his body.
Deciding to take his word for it, I leaned my head onto his shoulder, and tucked my feet up on the couch as I let myself follow the story line of the movie.
A few minutes into the film lo and behold, I was jumping practically out of my seat, and turning my face away from the television and into his chest. "You liar!" I exclaimed into his shirt, not even thinking about turning around and facing the television once again.
Feeling Seth shake with laughter, I hit his chest lightly with my hand and didn't bother to fight him when he took hold of my hand in his, "Corey..." Seth whispered softly, moving my hand and placing it on his thigh.
Knowing that Seth's gaze was set on me, I slowly titled my head up, and gazed into his beautiful eyes, "You're mean..." I mumbled softly.
Seth laughed lightly as he reached out and took hold of my chin, "I'm sorry I told you it wasn't that scary..." He began softly, "I just really didn't want you getting any ideas from that other movie about loosing me in ten days... face it love, you're stuck with me for a while now as it is, so there's no need to find ways how rid me ," Seth whispered softly.
Gazing up at him, I felt my heart pound harder as I thought about his words, "Stuck with you... and why is this?" I wondered, biting onto my bottom lip.
"Well that's easy you know too much..." He spoke quickly, bringing his lips down on the corner of my mouth.
Laughing, I shook my head softly, "Mmmmh, well if that's the case..." I mumbled, trailing my hand slowly up his chest, stopping just as I reached his jaw. Leaning in towards him, I couldn't help but smile as I came to a stop right before his ear, "Is being stuck with you the punishment for knowing too much?" I whispered quite softly, my only indication of him hearing me was the fact that a soft growl left his lips. ''Because that's not much of a punishment..." I finished a moment later with a kiss to the side of his neck, and pulled away from him putting a bit of distance in between us.
Seth laughed lightly as he stared at me, his eyes boring into my own, and before I knew it, Seth had his arms wrapped around my waist once more. Pulling my towards himself, he stopped content when I was practically sitting on his lap, "Corey..." He spoke softly after a moment.
Staring into his eyes, I smiled, "Yes Seth?" I wondered.
Watching him take a deep breath, I brushed my hair behind my ear as I watched him shift nervously, "Although you know what I truly am..." He began, pausing for a moment, giving me just enough time to make an input.
"A beautiful brown wolf that brings a smile to my face, and saved me not once but twice, who also doubles as this guy I find myself constantly happy with." I spoke quickly, not really thinking over my words as I said them. Seth visually relaxes after I said this, and his actions had me curious as to what was making him act this way. "What is it Seth?" I asked him softly, reaching up and touching his cheek softly.
Sighing softly, Seth sent me a small smile, "I know that the last time I brought it up you found it in you to comfort me on your ideas, and it brought some bad memories..." He mumbled, reaching back and rubbing his neck, "I mean what I'm trying to get at here..." Seth spoke nervously, taking a deep breath, "I was wondering if there is an way you would accept to being my girlfriend?" He wondered.
Hearing his words, I heard my breathing hitch, and felt a smile spread across my lips. Something about Seth had me, I knew he wasn't like any other guy I'd ever met before, and deep down I had a feeling that Seth wouldn't intentionally hurt me. In that moment, not able to find words, all I managed to do was nod my head, and watch as a smile spread across Seth lips.
"How can I ever repay you for giving me the honor of calling you my girlfriend?" Seth spoke a moment later as both of his hands moved up and held lightly onto my cheeks.
Giving him a smile, I bit onto my bottom lips, "Hmmm, a kiss should be enough..." I whispered softly.
Watching Seth with anticipation as he closed the distance between our lips, I couldn't help but smile slightly as his warms lips came into contact with mine.
Reaching up slowly, I tangled my fingers in his hair and pulled him closer. The feeling of his lips moving softly with mine had my head spinning, and nearly had me forgetting to breath.
A few moments later, I pulled away breathless but kept my lips close to his as he leaned his forehead onto mine. Once my breathing was normal again, I closed the distance between our lips, but just as they touched, the sound of the front door opening broke our lips apart once more. Quickly readjusting ourselves on the couch, I reached out and fixed Seth's hair, and then quickly ran my fingers through mine as well.
"Seth you father called," Amanda's voice came as her shoes made a light tapping noise as she grew closer to the living room, most likely following the sound of the television to where she assumed Seth would be, "He was wondering if you and Carter patrolled the-" She spoke walking into the room, cutting her sentence off as her eyes landed on me, "Oh, Corey! I didn't know you were here hon." Amanda said, her surprise evident not only in her expression but in her words as well.
Sending Amanda a smile, I caught Seth in the corner of my eye, and felt him grab onto my hand, most likely catching how nervous I got in that moment.
Just as I opened my mouth to greet Amanda, Seth interrupted, "Sorry mom, I forgot to tell you that I invited Corey over," He spoke calmly, instantly making me envy his calm mood while I on the other hand was practically freaking out.
Amanda smiled and her eyes darted from me and Seth's hands clutched together to each of our faces, "No problem dear," She exclaimed clapping her hands together, "Oh, I guess I'll tell you what your father said in a bit then. You two enjoy yourselves," She waved, turning on her heals and walking out of the living room.
When she was out of sight I heard Seth laugh softly, "Now, you were either nervous about her finding out you know what we are, or the fact that we were lip locked a few moments before she came into the room," Seth assumed raising his eyebrows.
Rolling my eyes, I tucked my hair behind my ear, "Both..." I mumbled quietly, silently hoping that he didn't hear me, but his soft laughter indicated that he indeed hear me.
"Can I take a guess and say that you were more nervous about the second?" He teased, obviously having way too much fun with the situation.
Shaking my head, I let out a deep breath, "I should probably be on my way home..." I changed the topic, not bothering to either confirm of deny his last statement, "Would you do the honor of walking me home?" I asked softly.
Catching my sudden topic change, but not bothering to bring it up, Seth agreed to walk me home.
Standing to my feet slowly, I stretched up on my toes and then turned my attention to Seth who had stood to his feet as well, "Ready?" He spoke softly, offering me his hand. Taking it quickly, I couldn't help but smile as he squeezed my hand softly, "I'm going to walk Corey home mom!" Seth called out, as he led us to the front door, and without waiting for his mom's response, he led us out of the door and shut it quietly behind us.

Good morning/afternoon/night where ever you happen to be reading this:)
This chapter if you didn't notice is longer than usual, but I couldn't help myself haha! But don't expect every chapter to get longer now...it's only weekends were I'm cooped up with a cold that I can actually think about writing a longer chapter! I'm not sure if i like this chapter or not...
So, I sure hoped you liked this chapter, I know you might start thinking things are going to be all lovely now that Corey knows, but I have some twists up my sleeve, and I'm pretty sure none of you are going to expect them...
Anyways...as you may have noticed, I usually (Or try to) every weekend, but honestly, I really don't want to work on something that people aren't enjoying (and letting me know they enjoy it). So, if you want to see me continue to update this regularly, the only thing I am asking is that I see a response coming from this... so, if you want the next chapter really soon....VOTE and COMMENT on this chapter! And if you want, maybe FAN me too;)
