"Come in, come in." Henry says as he opens the door. I hear footsteps and some sounds. I hear scratches on the floor. I turn the oven off and turn around facing the living room expecting to see Henry and Ron but instead I see the most adorable 4-legged creatures ever. Husky puppies. I squeal and immediately get down on my knees to greet them. They run right up to me as I hold my hands out for them to sniff me and love me. Which they do as I start petting them.
"Aww you guys are so cute, yes you are." I say in a baby voice. This is like cuteness overload.
"Char did the puppies come in, yes they did." Henry says as he walks in the kitchen and answers his own question. I look up to the sound of his voice and he's smiling and shaking his head.
"What? They're so cute, are these the dogs Uncle Ron said he was going to get to keep him company?" I ask him as I place both puppies in my lap and just snuggle with them on the floor.
"Actually that was a lie, Henry bought these puppies for yous two." A fatherly voice says. I look to see it was my father's fatherly voice. Yay, everyone's here.
"Aww Hen, thanks so much but unless y'all wanna starve take these two away so I can get the food out the oven." I say and Henry whistles and claps his hands.
"Come on babies." Henry says eagerly and the pups leap out of my lap and follow him as he runs out the kitchen. I get up and brush myself off, hairs already. I move to the sink and wash my hands then I grab the green oven mitts. I put them on and open the oven. Why it's still hot as hell amazes me but hey, I gotta make this quick fast. Okay in and out Charlotte. I go in and grab the pot and pull it out and place it on the stove. I close the oven and take my mitts off.
"Wooo! I did it!" I celebrate briefly before admiring my work. I'd decided to make baked spaghetti and it looks amazing, the cheese is melted so perfectly on top. My lord, this is gonna be amazing. I get out 4 forks and set them on top of some napkins on our island counter top. I also get out a serving spoon and just stick it randomly inside the spaghetti. I turn around and scan our kitchen for plastic plates. Damn, they're on top of the fridge. Henry must have put them there, damn inconsiderate tall bitch.
"Kay come eat!" I yell and all 3 of these vacuums come racing into the kitchen. They all gather around the spaghetti and groan.
"Damn Char, that looks good." Henry says licking his lips. Aw shit, that's so sexy. Why'd he have to do that, building up sexual tensions right in front of Dad and Uncle Ron.
"Where da plates at?" Dad asks. I roll my eyes, his speech comes out like this when he's hungry.
"Oh I don't know. Maybe on top of the fridge where I can't fricking reach." I say hotly, refraining from cursing in front of 2 adults that I have the utmost respect for. I glare at Henry and he blushes slightly then laughs it off.
"Sorry Char, I forget." Henry says after he's brought the plates down and he passes each of us a plate. Dad starts piling up on his plate and I know it'll take a while.
"Where are the pups?" I ask Henry realizing it's rather silent.
"Asleep in our bedroom, they have a bed in there." Henry says and I nod. Dad leaves out the kitchen and Ron starts piling up on his plates.
"Y'all better not get the runs." Henry says making me laugh and slap his arm.
"Henry, not around food please." I say and he shrugs and makes a 'but-it's-true' face. I roll my eyes.
"Don't worry, we brought spray and we'll take turns in the bathroom." Ron assures us and walks out the kitchen eating.
"Eww. I hate you guys." I say and Henry just grabs my plate.
"Hey what are you-?" I start to ask before he answers.
"Giving you food." He hands me back my plate with just the right amount of food on it. He starts putting food on his plate and I turn around to the island and dig in. As I'm stuffing my face, I see Henry out of the corner of my eye stand next to me and start to clean his plate. I stop eating and kiss his cheek while he's eating. I look and see I left sauce on his face. Oh that's embarrassing. Henry smiles with a mouth full of food and wipes his cheek. He licks the sauce although I swear his mouth was full just a second ago. I hear a big gulp and I look at him wide-eyed.
"You just swallowed all of that?" I ask him bewildered and he just stuffs his face and nods his head while blinking. Ugh guys I tell you guys. I just continue eating. Henry actually finishes up his second plate of food while I just finish my first. I throw my plate in the garbage and out my fork in the sink. I walk out the kitchen and Henry follows me. He walks passed me and I feel a light touch on my butt. Did he just? No, I don't think so. He doesn't seem like the type. I hope he didn't.
"Henry did you just?" I start to ask but he turns around and looks at me patiently. I shake my head and he turns around with a confused face but not before I catch a small smirk forming. Dammit, he did just touch my butt. Great, living with a pervert should definitely be fun. Before I say something though, Henry walks away and plops right down onto the couch. I just make a turn and head to our bedroom. I peek inside to see the pups right at the door. I open the door fully and they step out the room and just chill by my feet. I walk to the living room and they follow. Once we're there they take off, racing towards Henry. They bark as if they're calling his name. Henry looks down and smiles. He grabs them, picking them up and puts them on his lap. I just smile. He's a good daddy.
"What're you naming em?" Dad asks and I shrug my shoulders. I move to the couch and sit down right next to Henry.
"Genders?" I ask.
"Boys, both of them." Ron says.
"Oh great, as if there wasn't already enough testosterone." I grumble and the guys all laugh at me. I whine, this is not fair. I am not okay!
"So ideas?" Henry asks and I sigh.
"I don't know, taco, happy, fluffy, baby?" I suggest some really lame names.
"Laame." Dad coughs out. I shoot him a glare.
"Immature." I spit back at him. He frowns and puts his hand over his stomach.
"That hurt right here." He says and I roll my eyes at his foolishness.
"I got it!" Henry exclaims and I look at him with a straight face.
"What'd your dumbass come up with?" I ask and he pouts. He picks up one puppy, showcasing him to me.
"This is Hugin." He says and hands me the puppy.
"And this is Cerberus." He says while waving the other puppy around. Damn, I hate to admit it but those are great names. So I do the next best thing. I kiss his cheek again. I hear Uncle Ron and Dad gasp. I put the puppy down and attempt to run to the bedroom. I say attempt because Henry just so happened to grab the waist of my pants and yanked me onto the couch. He kisses my cheek and damn I've never been so happy to have dark skin. I sit there in shock that he kissed my cheek back right in front of our guardians( I suppose ).
"Are you two?" Dad asks looking at us bewildered.
"No!" I shout and jump up, off the couch.
"Uh tonight was fun. Goodnight. Love you, bye." I rush out and then dash towards my bedroom. I slam the door shut. I get some pj's out and move to the bathroom. I take off my clothes and get in the shower. While in the shower I realize that I left my shower cap. Damn, I can't get my hair wet. I wash up carefully and rinse off even more carefully trying my very best not to wet my hair. I don't wanna deal with that thing. I finish, get out the shower, dry off, lotion myself and then put on my clothes. I throw my clothes in the hamper and turn off the bathroom light. I dive into bed and pick up my phone from the nightstand. I unlock it and then turn it off completely. I don't even know why I picked it up. I place my phone back on the nightstand and just lay down. I start to fall asleep until the bedroom door opens. I act like I'm sleeping though until I feel something wet on my cheek. I scrunch my face and shoot up, wiping my cheek.
"Ewww which one of you did that?" I say expecting to see the puppies but instead find Henry's face right in front of me.
"'Twas me." He says with a smirk. I groan and just put my face into a pillow. Then I pull my head up. He can't keep doing these things.
"You have to stop." I say seriously and he looks at me confused.
"The playfulness of our friendship. It's escalated since the first day we met and I'm sure if Bianca was furious then she'd blow up now." I say and Henry's face stays blank.
"I guess she'd be pretty irate, I'll stop for now." Henry says nonchalantly. That went better than I thought. He gets up off the bed and starts to look for clothes. After he's got clothes he goes to the bathroom.
"By the way, you should change your clothes or else I'm cheating on Bianca for real tonight." Henry calls and then he closes the bathroom door. I look down at my pj's and roll my eyes, damn pervert.
I decide to just change my shorts and I put on black basketball shorts. I get back in bed and lay down. I don't actually fall asleep until the lights are off and Henry is in bed playing with my hair.
