"I've got to go out and check on some of the restaurants tomorrow anyway" I say 'but I'll have your brothers keep an eye out for you'

Growing up, Marcus, Aiden and I hung out at his home but then would hang out here because Addison lived here. Addisons parents always traveled a lot, so they opted to sell the house and relocate to the pack house.
They weren't the only family to live here. This house is built like a mansion, with individual living quarters but also a library for the teens to study, movie room and game room. Think apartment complex meets hotel meets mansion.
"Babe, I'll meet you out there, I've just gotta go see Aimee" I say as we step out of the car. Aiden frowns as he takes my hand walking up to the front door
"Don't worry, everything is alright, it's been nearly a week since I last saw her so I gotta check in my progress" I try to sound convincing and I must have since he nodded his head and kissed my forehead before parting.
I turn instantly bumping into a solid wall. I look up to see Richard. "Luna" he nods his head. I frown and place my hands on my hips
"Since when have you been for formalities? You don't call Aiden alpha when it's just him?" I question
"Jas - Luna may I have a word with you?" I smile and nod my head
"We are already talking but yeah I can spare a couple of minutes" He follows me into the alphas office and takes a seat across from me "What's wrong?"
"What would you do, if you done have something so terrible... For something you have wanted for so long and now regret" His gaze was cast down towards his shoes
"How much trouble?" I ask
"A lot" His gaze finally reaches my eyes and I can see want and regret.
"Please Richie, please tell me you didn't do what I think you did" His eyes shift from me to the floor then up again "Richie, I know you but we both knew once a mate comes along that's it"
"I'm so sorry Jasmine, I just wanted to be with you" I reached over to place my hand on his knee when he put his face in his hands "They said they would help me, they even said they would hurt Aiden but I refused if they were going to kill Aiden, he's one of my best friends"
"Richard whose they?" Richard looked up as I sat back
"Witches" he whispers
"I can help you, did they mark you somehow to seal the deal?" He nods his head revealing his neck to me "Look, you are and always have been a good guy but you've tied up with the wrong people"
I place my fingers over his shirt and pull it down to get a better look. A shape of a star right under his collarbone.
"Ok, Richard just don't scream"
"Please don't tell Aiden either because after this I plan to leave"
My eyes widen "If you leave, they will surely kill you" I could feel a tug on my mind link and it was annoying me
'Babe you ok?' Aiden says as I finally let my wall down 'You had your wall up'

Aiden growled 'Stop being jealous, I'm helping him with something, be quiet'
Aiden growled again and I purposely put the wall back up. I'm going to be in so much trouble for this. "Ok this is the only way I can get rid of it, it will hurt more than receiving it"
Richards eyes widened in fear "I have to bite deep.... Ok ready?" Before he could nod his head I bit down into his neck. He whimpered and clutched the chair. I could feel the mark burn in my mouth and something attack my brain
'We will come for you Jasmine Caine regardless of an insider... We will come' The whispers cried and when I pulled away they stopped and I turned to look at Richard who was pale and sweaty. He looked like death.
"Come on, let's get to Aimee, she will have a remedy for you" I pick him up when the doors burst open. Aiden barely clutching the door frame and snapping it from its hinges
"Help me get him to Aimee" I say just managing to lift Richard up
"YOU MARKED HIM?! YOU ARE MINE!!" Aiden growled grabbing Richard and throwing him across the room
"AIDEN! NOOOO!" I cried running over to Richard when I was grabbed by the waist and forced against the wall
"YOU PLAYED ME FOR A FOOL, YOU SAID YOU LOVE ME, LET ME MARK YOU AND YOU MARK SOMEONE ELSE!!" He yells in my face.
"Aiden, Jas" I heard Richard whisper
"I WILL KILL YOU!" Aiden bellows out rushing over to Richard when Marcus and Hayden rush in to grab him but I had captured him with my powers
"LEAVE HIM BE!" I cry out loud "HE NEEDS AIMEE"
In that instant Aimee comes rushing in, Marcus nods his head to let me know they had Aiden and I released him. Aimee looks confused when I grab Richard "He needs the healing leaf" Aimee's eyes widen
"Let's get him to the infirmary" Aiden growls and as I look up at him, his glare was death like.
"I can't believe you betrayed me" Aiden says with venom in his voice
"Tell him" Richard barely whispers
"Hey, save your energy for getting better" Aimee was on the other side of Richard as we held him together. Marcus and Hayden were barely managing to hold him down when my brothers came into the room to help
"Mum, are you alright? You have blood running down your mouth" I stiffened when I saw Kaleb at the door
"Addison!" I yell
"On it babe, come on sweetie you shouldn't see this" I smiled to Addison as she walks away
Aiden continues to growl when I feel a comforting hand on my shoulder "Baby girl let me take him" Aimee and I stop in the corridor when I knew my dad was behind me. "Go to him, your mum is waiting for Aimee in the infirmary"
I nod my head and turn around to let my dad take Richard. I wipe my face and head back to the office. As I get a proper look, the door was half on half off the hinges. Aiden growled as I stood in the doorway.
I was forced to look at him as I tried to assess the damage to the room. They had broken the desk from trying to hold him down and the bookshelf was broken from where he threw his best friend.
"I can't even look at you right now" Aiden growls. I could feel my anger boiling, my power being fuelled by this raw emotion
I stepped into the room, Ethan and Blair yelled for me to stop but Aiden growled low and shifted. I was just as angry as he was.
"You will be begging for forgiveness when I'm through Aiden!" I yelled
Aiden just continued to growl and bare his teeth "Don't you dare growl at me when you know nothing of what I did" Aiden took another step towards me
"Jasmine be careful, what you did... He is so angry" Blair says and I snapped my gaze towards him "Shit sis calm down please I'm sorry"
"YOU ALL KNOW NOTHING OF WHAT I DID... I HELPED HIM, HE HAD THE WITCHES MARK AND I TOOK IT FROM HIM IF I MARKED HIM AS MINE YOU WOULD BE DEAD AIDEN!" I screamed, and I'm pretty sure the whole pack heard
"Jasmine sissy, calm down please"
"I WILL NOT CALM DOWN" I could feel the control of my power slip and take a hold of me "YOU THINK I DON'T LOVE YOU, YOU THINK I WOULD MARK SOMEONE ELSE AIDEN HUH? I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD THINK THAT OF ME"
Aiden had shifted and stood naked in front of me and stepped towards me. A look of regret and guilt was written on his face
"Don't you dare touch me Aiden"
"Babe you need to calm down, you're hurting your brothers" he says and I turn to see my brothers were clutching their heads crying with blood coming out of their ears. My heart breaks as I see the pain I'm putting my brothers through
I rush to their sides and put my hands on either sides of their faces to assess them "I'm sorry I'm so so sorry" I cry as I pull them both in for a hug
"It's ok we're fine" Blair says. I stand up and turn around to find Aiden with shorts on
"You doubt my love for you when we're mated already, you really think I would betray you, your best friend came to me for help and I helped him, he confessed his feelings for me and got himself into trouble... I thought you knew me better than that Aiden" I took a step away when the familiar warmth and tingles spread through my body

"No... Now I need to go and see if Richard is alright" Aiden didn't fight me on this but instead let me go.
As I walk through to the infirmary, I take a glance at people as they walk passed. Some had had blood stains by their ears. My eyes widen in shock and tears fell from my eyes. No no no no! I lost control but I didn't think I lost that much control. They all saw my tears and just smiled at me.
I finally reach the infirmary and knock on the door before entering. I see Richard lying in the bed sleeping.
"He will be fine" My mum says as she leaves the room. I walk through into Aimee's office, she looks up from her papers and smiles
"I'm glad your mum taught me all about witches marks and what to look out for, for magical wounds and healing them... And I'm glad you came to see me" She smiles and gestures for me to sit down. "I know times are stressful at the moment but this baby is a blessing, it brings hope in your life, the light in your darkness"
"You knew? Aiden thinks I'm going into heat"
Aimee nods "I knew the moment I saw you, you were more pale than usual and wanted to pee more during our session last week and when I drew a blood sample I tested it to be sure, and because he thinks you're going into heat, it's because your body being pregnant craves the father more"
I nod my head "Thanks for clearing that up"
"My door is always open to you Luna" she smiles as I walk out the door. My mum is there with a fresh shirt to wear

- Cameron standing at the edge of the forest, watching the pack members train - I blink and frown turning to look outside
I rush out the door and look around frantically "Addison get Kaleb inside please"
"What's wrong?" The worry in her voice evident
"Please just do it"
I knew where he was before he saw me coming. He wasn't looking my way before I grabbed a hold of him.
"What are you doing here Cameron?" I have him in a choke hold when Aiden, Marcus, Hayden and my brothers rush out the door. Cameron tries to shake me off but I have a solid hold on him.
We move back, my back collides with the tree but I still hold tight. We land in the middle of the pack training making everyone scatter.
"Jasmine!" Aiden yells
"Let me go Jasmine, I'm not here to harm you" Cameron calmly says and by the tone in his voice I believe him.
"Why should I?" I dipped into his head more "You!" I suddenly let him go "It's you"
Hayden and Marcus are behind him when I scramble back on my hands and knees to collide with legs. My mates legs. He tries to help me up but I push him away. I hear the whimper come from his lips but I'm not letting him get to me.
"You work for the council?" I was feeling my anger resurface. This guy has been watching me, Kaleb, Aiden my whole family. And we didn't even know!
Aiden held on to me, trying to soothe my emotions through the bond. I could feel how sorry he was for earlier but at this moment I'm not focused about that.
A few gasps come from behind me and I know to be the pack "How long have you been watching me?"
"About a year, the council got wind that the daughter of Lily Wilson had inherited her gifts and was much stronger, we needed to investigate, I have only been observing you but I never knew you had a son" Cameron says "Can we take this inside? There are eyes and ears that watch"
I feel Aiden nod his head and gesture to follow him inside
"And guys that is a clear demonstration of how to hold your opponent or enemy down, you never let go" I hear a voice from one of the pack members say behind us. I saw Aiden look over his shoulder at me and smirk.
I'm still pissed at him. I'm actually beyond pissed off with him. This kind of shit is not unforgivable but it does earn him the couch for a few nights.
I hear him sigh as he turns away. 'Yeah you know it'
