is it possible to drown in my
memories?
are my thoughts in truth a
jeopardy?
depression left me sunken
in a hole.
and my trailing tears have
flooded it full.
clenched in these hands
i hold a rope.
save me from me, maybe?
or die in hope.
maybe i could drag myself
far above?
but what does it matter if i
cannot love?
tied these feet together in this
chilling pool
i know the big world out there
is simply cruel.
i'd rather drown in the thought
of you forever more.
than exist above these waters
and forever be ignored.
in eternity i'll spend in pain
just to know you're fine again.
