share a light conversation or
is it two?
a transfixed pair of eyes
avoiding eye contact because
he's insecure.
a silent hope for end
for his discomfort to melt and
promptly be gone.
a poem typed in shame
of insecurities he feels
wrestling within.
a wish to be better
because he feels the walls caving
he's trapped inside.
a plate of chicken rice
rejected, runs to his room instead:
demands solace.
a moment of silence
to soothe his monsterous thoughts still;
closes his eyes.
and
he
dies
just
a
little
bit
more
inside.
