"Hey Kenzie me and Paige are riding with Brooke to the mall after school so Josh is taking you home" Maddie informs me after last period as we are walking to the parking lot
I roll my eyes and change direction to where Josh's car is parked
"Why hello there Kenzie" he teases while climbing into the front seat
"Josh" I mumble in response climbing into the passenger seat
I immediately take my car charger and plug it into the plug-in
"So Mackenzie I have a question" Josh asks starting the car
"And what would that be" I respond
"How long do you think you could go without your phone charger" he asks
I start laughing hysterically
"Probably one second" I smirk
"Well mrs never say no to dares Mackenzie ziegler you've been dared to go a month without your phone charger"
I glance down at my phone then back up at josh I see my phones at 99% and I wait for it to hit 100% before glancing back up at Josh and saying
"Deal."
Josh stares at me for a second "I want the phone too" he corrects
"You said phone charger" I say
"Well I'm changing it" he says holding out a hand
"Ugh fine" I shake his hand
He holds out his hand for my phone
"Wait" I blurt
"What" he responds
"I have to say bye to snapchat, Instagram Twitter musically tumblr vine etc." I tell him
He rolls his eyes "when we get to your house that phones mine

I tell my social media where I'm going
Then recurrently when we reach my house I take a deep breath make a new password so Josh can't get into it kiss my phone turn it off then pass it to Josh
He smirks and shoves it into his backpack and I cringe given his backpack smells terrible
I climb out the passenger door and turn to wave goodbye to Josh when I realize he's getting out too he throws his arm around my shoulder and I shrug it off before speeding up to my house, Josh at my heels I open the door and walk straight to the kitchen Josh still following
"What do you want" I turn around and say
"Just making sure you don't have some extra phone or something, that's something you would do Ya know"
"whatever Josh get out of my house"
"Oh um okay bye"
Josh walks off and I look out the kitchen window to see him climbing into his car and driving away
I slide up against the fridge and down burying my face in my hands
"God dammit Mackenzie what did you do"
