"MADDIE" I holler running inside
"What" she shouts back from the kitchen
I run into the kitchen "Me and Josh went to bdubs on a 'date' and he kissed Me" I tell her
"He kissed you" he replies raising her eyebrow and emphasizing the word kissed
"Yes" I reply out of breath from running I run my hand through my hair that I recently took out of my bun
"OMG LIL SIS I SHIP YOU GUYS SO HARD" maddie shouts hugging me
Then when she releases me she stops "wait I must call Paige" she says diving for her phone
"Maddie no" I sigh
"MACKENZIE yes" she replies knowing where this is going and running to the hall bathroom and locking the door
I lean against the door as I hear her phone ringing she tells Paige what happens and I can hear Paige's screaming from here
By now it's like 9:00 and I hear a knock on the front door
I rush to the door and open it for brynn
"Hey brynn" I greet and move out of the way so she can come in but she looks mad and I repeat mad
Not moving from the doorway she grabs my wrist and pulls me outside
"Mackenzie I called your phone forgetting Josh had it and he answered and told me everything that happened" that's when I realized why she was mad brynn had always had this huge crush on Josh
"Brynn he kissed me and I kissed him back" I explain
"BUT YOU KNEW" she shrieks then brynn Rumfallo my best friend slapped me
"WHAT THE HELL BRYNN" I shout at her
"I hate you and your going to pay Mackenzie ziegler kiss your relationship with Josh goodbye" she screams at me before turning on her heel and walking away
"NEVER STEP FOOT ON MY PROPERTY AGAIN" I scream at her
"Don't plan on it" she hollers back
I storm inside and see maddie on the couch
"I heard screaming what's up?" Maddie asks
"Brynns mad because she has this stupid crush on Josh and he chose me over her and I didn't even like him until I saw the kind of person he is" I explain
"You don't need friends like brynn" Maddie comforts
"I know" I reply walking back out
I keep walking not really knowing where I'm going I end up deciding to go to joshs house because I need to talk to him
I approach his house and he's sitting on his porch
"Hey Josh" I greet
"Oh hey Kenzie" he hops up and runs over to me
I don't know what else to do so i burry my head in his chest and begin sobbing
He pats my back "Kenzie what's wrong" he asks leading me over to the porch
"Brynn," I mumble inaudibly
"What about hens" he asks causing me to giggle
"Not hens brynn" I reply wiping my nose with the hem of my shirt
"What about her" he asks
"She has this big stupid crush on you and she's mad because we kissed" I explain
"You don't need her" he pats my back
"You have me" he says and I wrap my arms around him
"Mackenzie" he asks
I pull away from the hug and look at him
"Are you okay?" He asks
"I'm fine now that your here" I tell him
