i absorb things
i destroy things
claim them as my own
i'm greedy, i believe
people tell me i crave
too much attention; that's why
i always try hard
and i'm arrogant too.
i care not for others' hopes
that's why i ace my exams
to be better than others, right?
if i were a spacious black hole
i'd eat everything up
maybe spurt out some shit
from time to time; as i do.
people say i do that
all the time; and i'm a
hypocrite, because i don't
do what i preach
i'm supposed to be a good
kid in this expanding
universe, yet why am i
so corrupted, horrible even?
i suck up all the stars
make lives a little dimmer
killing all the hopes; am i
worthy of this life?
because if society
has labeled me trash, then
i am nothing but the worst
this heart aches so
close these eyes
won't pretend it's all right
anymore; i don't want to be
a black hole once again
