Arnav's POV
As I opened the door malik entered and me and Aman took him to khushi's room. I took out my key of her room and slowly opened the door and asked malik and Aman to wait out side. I slowly went inside...there she is sleeping peacefully in bed and the moonlight came exactly on her face ...damm she actually look like an Angel ...I went closer to her and touched her arm but she did not wake up...I also called her name but she was still not responding . good she is on pill. And its safe now ..I called Aman and malik to come in and slowly I switched on a small lamp and took that lamp and placed at her feet. Then I removed her quilt and then put the lamp closer to her mark so that malik can see it...
Then I looked at malik he was looking intently at mark..soon his expression changed from calm to tensed...what is wrong ? Now his expressions are anger...damm someone pls tell me what is happening
Soon he left the room I put the lamp back and put her quilt back on and the I slowly went closer to her face and planted a small kiss on her forehead. She is still sleeping ..this site is so pure and bliss...soon I also left the room and went straight to my office where Aman and malik were waiting for me.
I took my seat at the office and then after that malik and Aman also set down
"malik...what is it?" I asked him
" arnav...Aman is right...no doubt that its done by mafia...but..."
" but what?"
" arnav...I m not sure how to tell you this but...that mark is something different... it is burned to hide the original one but still from what I can see, I can tell that it is not a birth mark or any that kind of natural marks on body,........I think it is a mark which was used in older times to prove that the child is going to be the in heritage of a whole mafia gang........."
what ? it doesn't make sense at all. she can't be a daughter of a mafia boss...bcz if she is , what is she doing in orphanage, mafia bosses don't let their child go away from them bcz they are their strength. if they die it is their child who can take over and save the gang. this is one of. the many reason malik didn't want me to leave him back there. malik is doing some mistakes here
" this is not possible. she is an orphan. and if it is true then how come I don't have a mark, I m also an only son of a mob boss"
" arnav I didn't mark you bcz ur didn't wanted you to join my world...and I respected her wish. and this was happened a very long time ago, now a days mafia is changed ,we don't do this kind of thing " he did this bcz of mom. he respected her choice. I m not surprised actually bcz he loved her so much
" but khushi is also around of my. age, even younger than me than why some one marked her?"
" I don't know, in Delhi there are two mob bosses ,one is me and other is singhaniya but there are other gangs in Bombay as well. we can't say whose daughter she is , in fact I guess this is the reason singhaniya want to kill her , I m sure he knows who is her father...and that must have caused him a great deal of profit that is why she is called the treasure " how dare he. I m going to kill him but if he knows who is her father then he could tell us. but again why would he tell me
" how can we find out then?"
" arnav...she is in some serious danger...tell her everything , she needs to know and I will also suggest that train her ,so that she can protect her self "
" no way, she is like a kid, so pure and innocent, what do you want that I tell her that she have to use this bloody weapons from now on to save herself, she will throw up even at the site of a weapon"
" arnav...for god's sake, she is a daughter of a mafia boss, its in her blood, you can't hide everything from her, and trust me , she is a lot more strong than she actually looks "
" hell with it, I m not going to tell her anything, and you will also not tell her anything " I said with anger and he is also looking at me with same anger.
" ok arnav...then wait for the worse , when she will be attacked again and trust me, they will attack her with a plan and you won't be able to save her at that time..." And I jst grabbed his neck...how dare he?
"She is mine and I will protect her , nothing will happen to her" I said each and every word looking in his eyes and then I have to leave her bcz Aman grabbed me.
"Arnav calm down...what are you doing? And why the hell are you making it tough, what is wrong in telling her the truth, its her life and she has ever right to know it" Aman said with frustrated face
"No Aman, she won't know anything"
"But why?"
"Bcz I don't want her to be part of this world, I m scared what if she also will end up..." I couldn't complete my sentence. What if she also end up like mom...
"ARNAV"... I know it was malik...he is beyond angry now and he and me were staring each other with anger. He is angry bcz of the mention of her love and I bcz of my love...suddenly he jst turn around and opened the door....and was about to go when .....
" umm...who are you? And what are. You doing here. At this time of night" Shit....shit...shit...khushi.... She asked to malik
"Umm...arnav are you in there?" She asked from outside of the door. I slowly went outside and stand besides malik soon Aman followed.
"Khushi why are you up at this hour?" I asked her...may be she can divert from malik
Khushi's POV
I woke up with a thud...shit what happen.. Oh I fall from the bed..damm ...I m feeling so sleepy again but the pain in my stomach is increased bcz of fall. I have to take a pain killer. So I soon headed to downstairs. I went to kitchen to grab a glass of water. But I heard some noise. Who is up at this hour of night?...voices were coming from arnav's office. But I couldn't hear clearly when I went closer suddenly I heard a loud roar...
"ARNAV"... What the hell...who is shouting on him that too in his own office . does that man don't know that he is arnav Singh raizada and nobody talk to him like that. Who got so much guts... Suddenly door opens and a man came outside. He saw me and froze. Then I noticed. He was wearing a back suit he has sharp jaw and jelled hair that too black and well he is tall and of course some really good kind of physics. He is old I can tell that but the thing is he look like someone. Wait ...he looks like arnav...what is wrong with me, arnav's parents are dead , he can't be his father. But he can be his uncle, but I think he only has a sister and akash in his life then who is this man?...
"umm...who are you? And what are. You doing here. At this time of night?" I asked him but he didn't answers. I should ask arnav
"Umm...arnav are you in there?" Soon he came and Aman also followed. What were they doing in there at this time
"Khushi what are you awake at this time" he asked me. But he should answer me first
"Umm...I fall from the bed so I woke up, I jst wanted a glass of water so I came to kitchen, I heard noise so I came here, by the way who is this man? "
"I m arnav 's...." But before the man could say anything arnav cut him and he said something that I can't even believe
"He is my father...." What?....but everyone knows his father is dead.
"Ok...hello ...uncle.."
"Malik..my name is arvind malik...and pls call me papa...I know soon you are going to be my daughter in low , arnav is really lucky" I can't help but blush. He is looking very nice man but why arnav never told me about him? Oh god so many question but I will ask him later about it.
"Ok papa..." This word make me feel so good, it is the first time I called someone that. I called Maa to my guardian but papa...never that jst made my eyes teared up
"Hey what happened beta?"
"Nothing, its jst that it is the first time I have ever called someone papa, I m an orphan so I jst got emotional" he took me by surprise by pulling me into a parenteral hug...god this is how you feel when you hug ur papa, so safe that nothing will happen to you bcz he will always protect you.
"Princess, you will always call me papa, its a long time for me too when someone called me papa" with that he eyed arnav with an emotion that I can't recognize...is there a problem between them?
"I think I should leave now, beta pls take care of ur self ok"
"Ok papa...I will but promise me that you will come to meet us soon ok, I want to talk to you about a lot more"
"I will beta, promise" with that he turned to arnav...
"Arnav , took her to her room, you also need rest, call me when you need me" with that he left...this is weird.
"Khushi...are you hurt?"
"What ?"
"You said you fall from bed...are u hurt?"
"No I m not hurt but I m feeling slight pain so I came to get a medicine"
"What?..why didn't you told me" and he pick me up in his arms again...what I m not that weight less...
He then gently placed me on my bed and took a pill and a glass of water, shit I had a jug in my room, I didn't noticed. I took the pill.
"Are you ok?"
"Yes arnav I m fine...arnav your papa?...."
"I know khushi you have so many questions right now but trust me I m not capable of answering them right now, pls tomorrow... I promise I will answer ur all question"
He was looking so tired. Damm khushi you are an idiot
"Arnav its fine, you don't have to ...take rest...you are looking tired....come...."
"What?" He asked. He was looking with a disbelief
"Arnav...come. Sleep with me, I m not sure I ll be able to sleep alone again, what if I fall again?"
I said that but I know I have to do this for him, he is looking emotionally tired. I have to sooth him , soon he came and pulled the quilt and got inside of it and pulled me to his chest and hugged me , I also hugged him and kissed his chest and he kissed my head soon his breathing became normal, he was sleeping peacefully, And I was jst happy that it is me who is offering him this peace, soon. I also got lost in the darkness, I know tomorrow will come with a lot of secrets but today we both are safe and together that is all matter
