School ended.
But today, Soraru and Mafu talked and passed some messages between lectures. Teachers sometimes caught the two of them, but they would just smile.
Soraru looked at Mafu who was packing up his things.
"Hey, Mafu." Soraru called.
Mafu looked at him, "Yes?"
Soraru panicked and tried to think of an excuse to make Mafu go home with him.
"Do you want to walk home together?" Soraru blurted out, suddenly.
Mafu's face lit up, "Yes, I'd love to Soraru-san."
Soraru's heart fluttered as Mafu looked at him happily, like, it was an accomplishment to make someone like him, happy.
As they walk out of the school they talked about a lot of things, mostly Soraru recommending him some games and anime.
Things got quieter when they neared the park.
But, Soraru tried to fill up the sad atmosphere with him babbling about nonsense to the sad Mafu.
Mafu appreciated that, he wanted to say 'Thank you, no one ever tried to make me comfortable.'
But, those words were kept locked inside his heart.
