"Do you really want to watch them?" A young person's voice asked.
The other nodded and looked at the shack where tourists, some of the townsfolk were coming in and out of the Mystery Shack. "It won't be all the time, I promise. I just wanna see what the human family is like." The other's voice is also young.
"But what will they say when they know we're here!? We're totally gonna get punished for this!"
"We're not gonna get caught." The other rolled it's eyes and turned to their companion and kissed the person on the cheek. "You and your overprotective complex."
The person blushed and kissed the other back too. Then took the hand of the other. "I just don't want you to get hurt and have them sad."
The other smiled with a small blush on his cheeks. "Like I said, everything will be fine."
+Mystery Shack+
"I'm telling you guys, we meet and talked with Dipper last night!" Mabel told her Grunkles with her friends next to her. She crossed her arms and sighed.
"We believe you Pumpkin, but we're not sure what to do about it." Stan said to his niece rubbing the back of his neck.
Ford hummed in thought. "We should probably leave it as it is Mabel. We did enough in the past already."
The group nodded in agreement. They knew they couldn't do anything even if they wanted too. All they wanted was for Dipper to be happy with everything now. They had regret everything about wiping Dipper's memories, lying to him, keeping Bill from him, and so much more that could be said.
They went on with their normal routine like the meeting had barley even happened. Keeping in mind still, that Dipper was happy brightened their day. As the day went on the four could feel like they were being watched. Not just them, it was the townsfolk too, minus the small amounts of tourists.
"Grunkle Ford, why do I feel like we're being watched?" Mabel asked hugging herself. Feeling small goosebumps along her arms.
Ford stared at the gift shop door and walked over to it. He opened the door to look at the front lawn. 'Nothing's here... Weird. Could it be Bill? Or maybe Dipper?' He thought.
"Hey old man! Mind letting us through?" An arrogant voice ask.
"Be nice..." A shy voice told the other person.
Ford looked down and saw two kids in surprise. 'Were they always there?'
The two kids that Ford stared at were identical twins, but you could tell them apparent due to their color pattern. The first twin, the one that had an arrogant attitude, is obviously could be marked the older twin. Chocolate brown hair with blond strands here and there. Blue eyes, slightly tan skin, and his clothes were mostly a formal style. White dress shirt, black vest with a green crest over his heart, black pants, and black sneakers. The second twin, the kind one as Ford put it, is the younger twin from what he could tell. Blond hair mixed with brown strands is the boy's hair color. Light chocolate brown doe eyes, slightly tan skin, and his clothing more casual. A blue tee-shirt, black no sleeve zip up vest, black pants, and yellow sneakers. From the age the two looked to be around, they could be 7 years old.
Mabel seeing that her Grunkle was not talking came over to see what was going on. She peeked over Ford's shoulder and her eyes turned into hearts. The brunette ran past her Great Uncle and hug/tackled the two younger twins. "Awe~! You two are the two most adorable twins I've ever seen!" She exclaimed hugging the two kids in her grip tightly. Mabel let them go and asked for their names. "May I know your names?" They kinda seemed familiar for some reason.
The arrogant one looked away, but the kinder one answered her.
"I'm Ecnelis, um Miss...?"
"I'm Mabel Pines." She told Ecnelis with a smile.
"Miss Mabel. Oh, the one next to me is my older twin brother Zenoth, but we call him Zen or Zeno for short." He told Mabel shyly.
Mabel ruffled the twins hair, "You two tourist here? I could tour you around the shack and give you some snacks."
"Tch yeah we are. If anything is a mystery in here, it's why anyone would come see fake attractions." Zeno told her and clicked his tongue.
The brunette lady laughed, remembering her first summer. "You remind me of my non-blood related brother. He said the same thing our first summer here in Gravity Falls. Hmm... I got it! How about I tell you of my brother and I's first summer here for fun? It'd be nice to remember stuff from back them." She said to them. 'Even though some memories hurt.' She mentally added.
The twins looked at each other and back at Mabel nodding eagerly. She lead them past her suspicious Grunkle Ford and into the homing part of the shack to the kitchen. There she gave each of the twins a glass of her famous Mabel Juice. Zeno pushed it away and Ecnelis took small testing sips of the drink.
"Be careful Ecnelis! We don't know if it'll poison you!" Zeno took the glass from his brother and placed on the table. "I don't want my brother getting hurt."
Ecnelis smiled apologetically at his brother. "Sorry Zeno."
Mabel smiled at the twin brothers fondly liking how they cared closely for one another. "So where do you guys want me to begin?" She asked them.
+Meanwhile in the Demon World+
"WHERE ARE THEY?! OH MY GOSH! WHAT IF THEY'RE HURT?!" Dipper exclaimed in worry on the verge of passing out.
Bill was trying his best to calm his hyperventilating lover down. "I'm sure they're alright my PineTree. We can search for them more quickly if you would just please calm down." The blond kissed Dipper on both of his cheeks while hugging him.
Dipper took some shaky in and out breathing, eventually calming down, reminding himself that he shouldn't worry to much. "Bill... Please let's go search for them now? I'm scared that they could get hurt. The both of them are unsupervised and for dang sakes they're only 7! 7 I tell you! I thought they were being supervised by my Mother today, but no! They have gone off some where without anyone knowing!" The brunet rambled. He received another kiss from his lover to get him to stop. He blushed and avoided making eye contact. "Can you find them? Please?"
"Of course PineTree! Plus your not the only one worried. They're practically my little spawns too ya know." Bill lead Dipper through a portal he conjured up. "I think you'll be surprised where they went my dear."
Dipper only looked at Bill questionably as the walked into the portal and it closed behind them. "I just hope Zenoth and Ecnelis are okay. I don't want our kids getting hurt."
+Back to Gravity Falls: Mystery Shack+
"Woah! So Weirdmageddon was a big thing then!" Zeno says amazed.
Mabel nodded her head pleased to find even Zeno can still have a kid like attitude. "Yup, but luckily my family and friends were able to stop it in the end. Regretting, I did something I shouldn't have though, without thinking of my best friend, I ended up hurting him. Since yesterday I was able to meet him one last time and apologized to him and also for the behalf of the town." She told them with a soft smile. Thinking a bit as she looked at the twins staring at her she sensed the same weird feeling from before.
"Miss Mabel? About the best friend you mention before, who was he and where is he now?" Ecnelis ask Mabel out of curiosity.
"His name is Dipper Pines- well now that I think of it since we're not really related, we basically called him Dipper. We didn't really know his real name... He was the non-blood related brother I mentioned about before. " The brunette says with awkward laugh.
Just then a ringing echoed into the room. It was coming form Zeno.
The brunet pulled out his phone and answered the call. "Hello?"
"..."
"Sorry Father... Does Mother know?"
"... .... ..."
Zeno's face looked really sorry and a bit worried. "Ecnelis is fine, he's with me. Your gonna pick us up? We're at... You know..."
Mabel notices he's a bit hesitant to tell his parents the shack's name. Even Ecnelis looked worried as his twin talked on the phone to their parents while he help on to the other's hand.
"Ecnelis, Mother wishes to speak with you." Zeno say handing the phone to his twin who accepted it.
Ecnelis took the phone and got out of his seat to go out of the room to talk privately with their Mother.
"Is there something wrong with telling them with where you are? Did you guys get into a fight or something?" Mabel asked the eldest twin concerned.
"It's not that, you could say Father and Mother had a past with this place if you get what I mean. Plus we tend to say away from humans as much as possible unless it's for other reasons such as interest or work."
There was knocking on the door before Mabel could ask them anymore questions.
Zeno smiled and got up from his seat. "That must be Mother and Father already." The boy started heading towards the door as his brother trailed behind him.
Mabel followed them to the door and opened it to greet there parents. Instead she gasped at the two familiar people at the door. "Omg, Dipper?! Bill?!"
"Hey Shooting Star!" Bill cheerfully greeted her.
Dipper nodded, "Hi Mabel. Um, by any chance did you meet two boys?"
Mabel looked between the twins and the demon couple in surprise. "They're your kids! Omg this is so cool! I knew I had a feeling on why they looked kinda familiar. Dip, they are so adorable!"
Dipper rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he laughed while Bill was feeling the proud Dad moment. "Thanks Mabel, but they weren't suppose to be out here at all." He says and looks at his kids smiling at him nervously. "Anyways we'll be going home with them now."
"Um wait, please Dipper. If you could, with Bill and your kids, would you guys like to stay and hang around for awhile? I won't force you, promise, it's your choice." Mabel asked them with some hope in her voice that they would say yes.
Bill and Dipper looked at each other than at the kids.
"What do you guys wanna do?" Bill asked the kids with his signature grin.
The twins smiled at each other than at their parents. "Stay!" They say in sync.
"There's your answer Mabel." Dipper smiled at her, it wasn't a fake one either. It was a genuine smile that Mabel conjured a few tears to well up in the corners of her eyes.
She wiped them, "Then let's head inside and talk. It's been a long time and you got some major explaining to do!" She exclaims as she pointed at the twins who were walking back into the shack.
Bill and Dipper smiled as they followed them inside.
"You bet your glitter we have some talking to do! Gotta catch up with all of you." Dipper felt the heavy weight in his heart lift up.
The dream demon sneaked a kiss to his lover as the door closed behind them.
