“LELAND GET THE BACK DOOR!!” Dog Chapman shouted as they run to the house of the girl they were after.
Leland slid to a stop at the back of the house. “ I am in place Dad” He said in to his walky-talky.
*BANG BANG!!!* Dog pounded on the door.
“Jenny Hollingshead” Dog shouted. “We have the place surrounded! COME OUT NOW!”
Leland watched the back door and left side carefully. “Dad I saw movement inside” He said
“WE KNOW YOUR IN THERE!!! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!!” Leland heard his dad shout.
The door opened slowly. Out came this little thing of a girl, she walked out and dropped to the ground and put her hands behind her back. Beth went over and cuffed her.
“Thank you dog for doing this to me.” Said as she and Beth walked past.
“We got her Leland.” Dog said to his son over the talky. Leland walked up to the cars and the girl.
“Jenny. Girl you got to call me every day and go to court.” Leland said.
“I know I know.” She said
“I know you know but you MUST do it.” He said as he lifted her head and looked in to her eyes. He saw that she was sorry that this happened.
“I am sorry Leland I really really am.” She said with tears in her eyes.
Leland watched her blink and then moved to catch the tear that fell with his finger.
“Hey don’t cry. I will help you get back out. You will have to sit for a day or two but I will get you out again. Ok?” He said as more tears fell.
“Ok. Thank you.” She sniffed.
Leland grabbed a tissue and wiped the tears away. He held the tissue to her nose and told her to blow. She did and wrinkled her nose when he pulled it away.
“Ew.” She said. Leland tossed his head back and laughed a laugh that his family had not heard in a long time.
“Sorry. I do not know what came over me.” He said with a chuckle.
Jenny smiled at him and felt her heart do backflips. She smiled in her mind knowing that everything she had done to get to this point was worth it. Yes her mom and dad were less then happy that there only daughter was a gold digger. Yet it was SO worth it. This was going to be good. Then she saw that they were all stareing at her.
“I’m sorry? I zoned out for a moment.” She said hoping that she was blushing. When she felt that she wasn’t she thought of being in bed with Leland…naked…under him. BINGO! She felt her cheeks flush a bright red.
“I was telling you that you need to shift so I can sit next to you. Then we can head off to the jail. Ok?”
“Oh right.” Jenny shifted to the middle seat and Leland slid in next to her. Beth on the other side and Dog driving.
“Need a cigerate?” Beth asked Jenny.
“No thank you, I am trying to quit smoking them.” She said with out thinking. Leland smirked at her.
Dog tried to read her face. He knew what she was. She made eye contact with him and all the color drained from her face. She suddenly felt like she was going to be sick.
“You ok back there sista?” Dog asked
“ I think I am going to be sick.” She said and started turning green.
“Do I need to pull over?”
“Yes please.”
As Dog pulled over the side of the road Leland undid Jenny’s handcuffs giving her a warning look that said “If you run I will have you on the ground so fast you have whiplash.” When they were pulled over Leland got out of the way as fast as he could. Jenny bailed out of the car and hit her knees. She started vomiting. Leland leaned in to the car and pulled out a bottle of water then pulled back her hair. When she was done he handed her the water.
“Rinse” He said.
She took the water from him and rinsed out her mouth. He helped her up and placed the cuffs back on her then helped her in to the car again.
“Sorry. I don’t know what happened there.”
“It is fine.” Leland said as he gently brushed her hair back for her.
“We’re here.” Dog said
They all unloaded from car. Dog went up to have Leland and Jenny buzzed in. Beth pulled Jenny aside.
“If you hurt him you little lying gold digger I will rip your hair out by the roots. Understand?” Beth hissed at her.
“You can't prove and thing.” Jenny hissed back
“Right now I can’t but you hurt Leland.” Beth started saying
“Did I hear my name?” Leland asked
“I was just telling Jenny that you would take care of her when you bail her out.” Beth lied
“Yep! That is what she was saying.” Jenny said.
“All right then. They are ready for us inside. Come on.” Leland said as he reached for Jenny. Jenny followed Leland inside. Leland did what he need to and turned around. He undid Jenny’s cuffs and the cops placed new ones on her.
“Thank you Leland.” Jenny said. She turned and gently brushed her finger tips across his crotch and smiled. He jumped lightly and smiled back.
“Your welcome.”
**2 days later**
Leland looked up from the frount desk in the office and smiled. “Hi Jenny. Howz it?” he asked.
“Good I am clean too.” She said flashing him a smile.
“Good to hear.”
“Whats good to hear?" Beth asked as she walked into the office.
"Jenny here is clean." Leland said as he gestured to her.
Beth smiled at her and Jenny nodded.
"Two weeks clean." Came the proud voice.
Leland beamed clearly proud of her. He stood up and walked around the desk and hugged Jenny.
"Good job! I'm proud of you!!" Beths jaw dropped in shock.
Leland never hugged anyone. He was a germaphobe, didn't like to touch people. Heck he use to wear gloves when working with prisioners.
Dog walked in and froze. He looked at Beth who looked back just as shocked as Dog. Dog cleared his throat.
"Ahem..." Leland and Jenny jumped apart both blushing.
"Ah...sorry dad..." Leland said quickly.
'Sorry Dog." Jenny said just as fast.
There was a soft chuckle from both Dog and Beth. Jenny felt her face flush as Leland grasp her hand gently.
"So we were going to close up shop and head to the beach. You wanna join us sista?" Dog asked her. Beth glared slightly at her husbend.
Jenny shruged. "Sure why not. As long as I won't be a bother." Leland pulled her close to his side.
"You won't be a bother. I promise. We can go get pizza afterwards as well." He said.
Dog nodded at Leland. Jenny thought for a moment.
"That sounds awesome. I'd love too.I gotta run home and change. I'm just around the corner." Beth, Dog and Leland all nodded.
"I'll call DL and tell him where to meet us." Dog said to Leland. "Take her back home and to the normal place" Leland nodded and gently pulled Jenny outside and too his hummer.
Unlocking the truck Leland opened the door for her and helped her up and into it. Running around the other side he jumped into it and started it with a smile. As he drove, Jenny telling him where too go, he couldn't help but wonder what the fluttery feeling in his chest meant.
