Chapter 7: Fear none, respect all

Yivi P.O.V

Today was the day Abraham was taking me out on a date.

The hair from the back of my neck rose. I was nervous.... What if it doesn't work out? What if he doesn't like me? All the what ifs question buzzed in my head.

"Your going to be fine. Trust me." Said grandma.

"Gracias mami." I said hugging her.

I curled my hair in the loose ends, wore a blue fluffy tank top, and black shorts.

There was a knocking the door and turned to grandma. But she turned me back around.

"Oh no. Your going on this date if you like it or not." She said. She opened the door and see a very, very, very handsome Abraham Mateo.

He was wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, a blue jacket and black skinny jeans.

"You look.... Beautiful." He said.

I blushed. Okay, maybe it was the first time he made me blush but in reality.... It was my first blush.

"Thank you, and you look.... (Freaking hot!!!!) very handsome." I say.

"Aww, just so you both know. I brought you guys together." Said grandma, then taking off to watering the flowers.

"So, Milady should we care to go on this date." He tried to say in a British accent.

I take his hand. "Of course we shall." I say in a Australian accent.

We hook our arms together and see that abraham had a wonderful ride.

A Lamborghini. "Wow..." I whispered.

He took me to the car and handed me a blindfold. I put it on.

10 minutes past and I couldn't guess the sound or the smell of it.

He helped me out the car and lead me to the secret place.

I tripped over something but Abraham caught me.

"Watch your step, princess." He said, it send shivers down my spine.

"All aboard!"

What?! Wait.... Are we on a ship?

He took the blind off and I see a beautiful organized dinner table.

"Abraham, this is beautiful!" I said almost tearing up.

It was the nicest thing someone every done to me.

"Thank you, I try." He said pulling a chair for me to sit.

"Why thank you." I say sitting down while he pulled the chair in.

He went to his chair and sat down.

Music started to play.... I haven't danced since my mother disappeared.

"May I have this dance?" He said.

"Yes." I blushed and took his hand. I placed my hand on his shoulder and his hand in my waist.

I look straight into his big brown eyes.... They were full of love.

Abraham P.O.V

The presence around her was warm and loving... All I focused tonight is to steal a kiss from her.

This was my chance.... I lean in so our foreheads were touching.

"Abraham..." She whispered.

"Shhh...."

I tilt her head a little and moved towards her lips.

I closed my eyes.....

















*Ring*Ring*Ring*











My phone rang which made us both jump.

This wasn't the way I planned it. I answered it and it was jake.

Jake:sorry to interrupt but you need to come down the office.

Me:Do I bring yivi?

Jake: No! She has something else to do.... Just come down alone.

Me: okay.

I hung up and look at yivi...

"I'm sorry... This wasn't the way I planned." I say.

"It's okay. I mean your job comes first." She said... I could see sadness in her eyes.

I take her hands and kissed her cheek.

"I'll make it up to you next time." I say rubbing my thumb on her cheek.

I ran down stairs and looked back at her...

When she was out of sight, I felt pain rush behind my head.

"What the-"

And the rest was darkness.

Yivi P.O.V

He almost kissed me.... One chance.

He had to leave. "I knew it! I fell for it!... I'm so stupid!" I said throwing a rock in the water.

I sit in the edge of the ship and see my reflection in the water.

"Hello princess..."

I turn around and see jake....

"Jake?"

Darkness filled my vision while pain was left on my cheek.
