Hayley's POV:
I looked up at the ceiling. I sighed.
"You okay?" Cody whispered. I nodded. He held my hand. I held it back.
"Hayley" he whispered.
"Hm?" I hummed.
"I love you"
I sighed.
"I-I love you too"

The door creaked, causing me to open my eyes. Dylan crept in and sat on the couch. There was a buzzing noise, and he pulled out his phone.
"Hello?" he answered quietly. I closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep.
"Yeah, sorry for leaving so quickly"
Was he talking to Lisa?
"Don't worry, she's sleeping"
Maybe Daniel?
"She won't hear"
Liyah?
"I promise, baby"
Liam? Wait, baby?
"Don't worry baby, she won't know"
Why? Why now?
"Like I said she's sleeping"
Why always me?
"Baby, you know I love you"
He was worse than Cody.
"I don't love her, baby"
At least Cody was drunk.

He was sober.
"Your my life"
He was on the phone.
"I promise"
I was in hospital this time.
"Baby, you know I wouldn't lie to you"
I wanted to say something.
"I really wouldn't"
I needed to say something.
"I promise"
I wanted to scream.
"Come on, why would I leave someone so beautiful?"
I needed to scream.
"She's not as beautiful as you"
I gripped the sheets.
"She's no where near as beautiful as you baby"
I shoved my face into the pillow.
"What?"
I tried fighting the tears.
"No"
I held back the screams.
"I never did"
I bit my lip.
"I never loved her"
That was it. I broke. The tears streamed down. I was hiccuping, sobbing. Cody opened his eyes, just as mine closed.

I heard her cries. Her sobs. Her hiccups. I opened my eyes and looked at her. She must've fallen asleep. The door creaked to a close. I sighed. What had happened? Why was she so, upset? Had I done something? Had Dylan done something?
