I decided to go out to a certain shop near my home.
When I came back, Paul's room was still empty.
After taking a shower, I read a book until i slept.
Next day - 8pm -
I woke up in a happy mood, took my breakfast and went to my window.
No need to say that it wasn't for admiring the Street or the people down there.
Paul was standing near his window.When he saw me, he waved his hand at me.
" How are you today?"
"I'm fine and y...What's with your face? "
"Just a little fight." He answered with a smile.
" Just a little fight?" I repeated " If I have to go to the wild side with you, is my face going to pay for it too?
He laughed
" No, of course no..What's your plans for today?"
" I have revisions..It would be nice from you if you could give me a vinyl to listen to. "
He nodded and searched for it.
Some seconds after, he handed me one from The Smiths.
" Have a good time revising while I'm enjoying my youth little girl."
" Yeah yeah, say that again and i will crash your vinyl on the ground, it's just for two hours."
He smiled
" Do you want to drink something after?"
My inner self was screaming of happiness.
" Yes why not? Also I have something to give you."
" Really? Show me!"
" Not now, later! "
Then tell me what is it?"
" A slap in your face" I thought to myself
" No way that I would tell you now. "
" you're not funny. " he said, apparently not happy with all the tease.
" Yes I'm not funny but you will still not know. Now let me, I have revisions to do. "
That idiot was in my mind all the time I was revising and the vinyl he gave me was beautiful.
Two hours later, a piece of paper fell on the ground of my room.
~Are you done?~
I sent him his paper back.
~I'm, wait until i prepare myself to hang out~
~Waiting for you outside~
Once again I felt stupid putting the piece of paper in a drawer.
I went downstairs.
" Paul, I'm ready let's go! "
He talked to me about yesterday night and how He has his scars.
Just a fight while being drunk.
" Seriously.."
" Yeah what?"
" Nothing, just that you look ugly like that"
He glanced at me for a moment.
" come on I'm kidding"
The pub was nicely decorated and the Jazzy music playing was putting a good ambiance.
I loved this place immediately.
" Are you sure that you don't have anything to do?" I asked
" Noo,I'm pretty happy to be there in company of someone who have good musical tastes and..."
He monologued like that for a good 2 minutes and I stopped listening to him and concentrated into his blue eyes.
Him waving at me made me pay attention again.
" Oi, Paul from Earth to you .."
" oh hm..sorry" I said embarrassed
" ..So where is my present?"
"What present?"
" The present you said you will give me?"
" I never said it was a present. Maybe it's a poisoned cake or a slap in the face?"
" No waaay."
" Well well, it's a little present but I forgot to bring it"
"But.."
"I'm going to give it to you at night, we're neighbors you know"
He smiled and I did the same.
We spent the time talking and laughing.
" Now I want my present!"
" you're such a child! Stop complaining and let's go home"
I went upstairs and took his present, and the one I bought to myself.
" where is it? " He said
" Close your eyes and give me your hand"
He did and I looked at him for a moment. He was beautiful.
He opened his eyes and looked at the silver bracelet with a blue heart in the middle.
He did a magnificent smile and thanked me.
" You really didn't have to, It's so cute. it will stay with me forever"
I simply smiled back, while in the inside I was dying of joy.
