Hi
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
When we got into the labyrinth it looked strange to say the least.
"So it's a three dimensional maze in here..." Gray looked around.
"Eh. I'm not good with stuff like this!" Natsu groaned.
"You're not good with anything..." I muttered.
"Get it together! If we're not one of the first eight teams to arrive, forget about number one in Fiore, because we'll be cut!" Lucy scolded.
"Yeah, right?! We gotta get through here an' beat those sabertooth bastards to a pulp!" Natsu laughed.
"Let's get to the goal before they do." I advised.
"A Man finishes the elimination round in first place!" Elfman yelled.
"Basically, we should head east. The arena is in that direction." Erza pointed out.
"In that case, count on me!" Lucy yelled triumphantly.
"OPEN! GATE OF THE COMPASS! PYXIS!" She summoned a spirit.
"PICO!" The bird yelled.
"Please, Pyxis! Tell us which way is east!" Lucy smiled. The compass on it's head turned before it pointed the direction of east.
"THAT WAY IS EAST!" Lucy yelled.
"Sorry, Lucy. I brought along a compass." Erza sighed.
"Pyxis... Good job..." Lucy and the bird sulked.
"Pico..." It replied before going back to the spirit world.
.
.
.
"Let's head east!" Natsu yelled as we were running up stairs.
"A MAN CHARGES STRAIGHT THROUGH!" Elfman yelled.
"Be that as it may, we can't go just straight east, can we?" I asked.
"Not the way this is constructed." Lucy added.
"Is the roof folded back over?" Gray asked looking around. When we got to the top of the stairs we stopped to look around.
"You're doing okay?" Erza turned to Natsu.
"Yeah. I don't know why, but i'm not feelin' sick at all." Natsu nodded.
"I'll explain!" The pumpkin guy suddenly appeared in a hologram form.
"For the elimination round, this entire Sky Labyrinth has been treated with magic so even those with motion sickness or fear of heights can compete fairly!" It explained before disappearing.
"So it's like a troia?" Natsu asked.
"Maybe that means Nastu isn't the only wizard with motion sickness!" Lucy whispered to Gray and I.
"That's just pathetic." Gray and I sighed.
"I can hear you three!" Natsu growled.
"Anyway, let's keep heading east!" Erza commanded.
"Right!" We nodded. At this point we began to open the many doors around us one in particular was a bit trippy.
"Woaaa!" Natsu beamed.
"What the hell is this?" Gray grunted
"Just lookin' at it makes me dizzy!" Elfman groaned
"I can't tell if that end is above or below!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Whichever! Let's just go!" I ushered running in the others following.
"A Man doesn't hesitate, but charges ahead!" Elfman yelled.
"Still, how far does this thing go?" Lucy asked.
"Don't worry about it! At the end of it'll be the goal! Hey!" Natsu smiled as we got to the door he opened and nearly ran ahead.
"Get a hold of yourself!" Elfman scolded saving Natsu from the fall.
"What the hell's goin' on here?!" He yelled in shock.
"Like the name says, it's a labyrinth." I replied looking over the end.
"That reminds me of what he said about not taking responsibility even if people die." Lucy pointed out worriedly.
"Falling from here, we'd end up on the street in Crocus, headfirst." Gray mumbled.
"Then we're supposed to choose our paths carefully, huh?" Elfman asked.
"We ain't gonna get to the goal by inspecting this whole place! Let's just look around to the east!" Natsu frowned.
"I think it'd be a good idea to take notes as we go." Erza rubbed her chin.
"Notes?" Lucy asked.
"Like how we've gotten here from the starting point. What kind of places we've passed. If we can't get a grip of where are we right now, we won't be able to make progress easily." Erza sighed.
"Yeah, we can't just complain about it." Lucy smiled.
"I see. She's talking about mapping the place." Gray nodded,
"Taking notes?!" Elfman asked with a small frown.
"I don't know one place from another!" Natsu sighed.
"Can't you get a whiff of the goal or something, Natsu?" I asked the pink haired male.
"My nose isn't working." He shrugged.
"Maybe that's due to the magic cast in this labyrinth." Lucy pointed out.
"Every team has the same conditions. Anyway, let's keep going!" Erza commanded checking her compass.
"East is that way!" She pointed in the direction of where it was.
"It's hard taking notes in this place." I frowned looking at what I had so far.
"Same here." Lucy agreed.
"Yeah 'cause every inch has distinctive features." Gray laughed.
"Hey! Erza..." Natsu froze.
"Yeah. I heard something, too." She nodded.
"You're the one that said it's this way!" A distant voice yelled.
"What, it's my fault?" Another voice replied.
"Not that I care, but we've already been this way once!" One of voices added.
"Right?! I knew it!"
"Anyway, we gotta keep running or we'll run out of time!" Another voice added.
"Come to think about it..." Elfman started.
"The guy from the other guilds are in here, too, right?" Gray finished.
"Hey. Are you serious?" The guys from the other guild stared at us.
"That mug..."
"Fairy Tail!" They growled.
"Unbelievable!" One of them grunted.
"Those guys!" Natsu glared.
"As always they're a piss-poor looking guild!" One of the guys from Twilight ogre laughed.
"LAME-O'S" One of them laughed.
"I didn't expect you guys to be participating, too." Gray shook his head.
"I could say the same to you! You're the one who's in the guild that's perpetually last." The leader laughed.
"This year Fairy Tail's different!" Natsu yelled.
"How so?" The guy smirked.
"Hey, wait a second! Are we gonna fight here?!" Lucy asked.
"We're free to use magic in here! There are no restrictions!" One of the guys yelled.
"We'll crush you right here!" They laughed.
"These dopes don't learn." Gray sighed getting into a fighting stance.
"I'm fired up!" Natsu smirked.
"We're seriously gonna battle?"Lucy asked.
"The less rivals, the better." I shrugged.
"Well, sure, but..."
"GET EM!" They yelled lunging towards us.
"We got our eyes on..." Natsu smirked
"Overthrowing Sabertooth!" Gray finished for Natsu attacking one of the members.
"That and bein' number one in Fiore!" Elfman yelled punching one of them.
"You're in our way!" The trio yelled pushing them of the platform which caused them to fall of the labyrinth and out of the sphere. Just then the ground let out and abrupt shake and the ground started to rotate.
'This can't be good!'
