Chapter 10
Once he forces me through the door frame to the apartment, I wake Connor and Rocco with my screaming.
"What te fuck is going on?!" Connor says, rubbing his eyes. "Aye, Murph. What are you doing?" Rocco asks.
Murphy lets me go but he closes the door and locks it, he stands between the door and I. "Please don't." I sob to Murphy, begging for my life.
"What is she talking about?" Connor asks. Connor takes a step towards me, "stay away." I sternly say, clenching my jaw.
"What's wrong with her, did you give her any drugs Murph?!" Connor asks. "No, she remembers everything, that guy that ye shot the other night. He told her that we were gonna kill her next." Murphy explained to Connor and Rocco.
"You know he's lying, right? We would never lay a hand on a lass. We would never hurt you Alex." Connor said, trying to reassure me.
"Please," is all I could muster to say. I brung up my hands to my face to try and attempt to hide my face as best as possible.
Warm arms surround me, I can't see who is embracing me through my hair since its covering my face. I didn't really care at this point.
