The pieces, they all seem
to fit together with you.

::::

I awoke the next morning to a gentle ray of sunshine streaming through window, glistening against the glass panes. I smiled, remembering last night and the blissfulness of it all. Everything seemed to all be right as of now. Luke felt the same way I did and he remembered that night that brought us together so long ago, the night that was burned in my brain for years to come. We re-created that night last night, both of us caught up in the wild, crazy, passionate love for each other that blazed in our hearts, the lust in my own eyes mirroring Luke's. Our hearts raced together as he held me close, tightly, our sounds waning out with the waves. It was perfect and Luke made me feel like a queen.

The sheets ruffled as Luke moved and snaked his arm around me, pulling me close to him, our still-bare bodies resting against each other. His body heat radiated off my own, yet oddly, the touch of him against the small of my back sent shivers tingling down my spine. Luke mumbled something into my mop-head of hair that had fallen almost all of the way out of my ponytail sometime between our love-making session and sleeping last night. I tried to close my eyes in attempt to catch a few more winks of sleep before Luke woke up, but my attempt failed after just lying there for about fifteen minutes with no results. Luke's snoring gradually increased from muffled noises to full out snorts. This left me to sigh heftily and force me to try and wiggle free from Luke's tightening grasp. Every time I'd try to heave myself out of his grasp and my body out of bed, his arms would compress me closer to him.

"You're snoring so damn loud!" I mumbled to myself.

Luke grunted, startling me, finally letting me go. He rolled over onto his back. "Do I need to handcuff you to me to give you the hint that I want you to stay in bed with me?"

I frowned and said, "I'm sorry," as I sat up in bed, pulling the covers over my body, feeling oddly self conscious. I picked at the sheer sheets, keeping my eyes on the bed. I knew it was silly, foolish to be feeling this way, but I mean, I was laying naked in a bed with Luke Bryan. Put any girl in my position and they'd feel the same way. Well, unless you're a straight up whore or something. Then you'd be on top of him right this moment. Beside the point.

Luke laid there silently for a few short moments before turning his head to look at me. He chuckled. "That's alright darlin'." He then frowned. "Why are you covering up like that?" He sat up and furrowed his brow. "I moved too fast, that's what it was, wasn't it?" He then whispered under his breath. "Damn, I knew I should have slowed my pace."

I automatically felt bad. He hadn't moved too quickly at all. In fact, I'd been dreaming about this night for a while now.

"No," I said quickly, making Luke snap his head in my direction. I dropped the sheet covering my upper body. "You didn't move too fast."

I saw Luke gulp and he sort of shook his head in unbelief. I watched as he bit his lip, sending butterflies scattering in my belly. "Damn," He breathed.

I could feel my cheeks begin to burn a bright shade of red and I reached over to slap his arm. He scoffed and rubbed the place where I'd smacked him.

"What," He shrugged slightly whining. "They're really nice. And when a woman has herself a pair of nice boobs, a man can't help but stare, okay? Forgive me."

I laughed and scooted closer to him, letting him wrap me in his arms. We both sat up, leaning against the headboard. Hesitantly, I rested my head on his chest. Luke leaned down and placed a kiss the top of my head. For a while, we sat like that in a comfortable silence, both in our own little thoughts before Luke spoke up, barely above a whisper.

"I'm glad you walked back into my life, Caroline."

The way he said my name, seeming to hang on it, sent my heart a pounding. I ran my fingertips along his tan, muscular arms before tilting my head up slightly so I was gazing into his eyes.

"Me too."

The both of us spent the remainder of the morning just lying in bed talking about numerous things. The string of conversations had a wide range of topics, really. From his career to our thoughts on processed canned cheese- which Luke despised- and even who we thought would make a better indian outlaw. With Luke, I was carefree and could be myself at all times. I knew that I could tell him anything and he wouldn't judge nor laugh. On the same note, I knew I could always count on Luke to make me laugh.

"Hey Caroline," Luke said, jolting me from my train of thought.

"Yah?" I responded.

He smirked. "What does the nosy pepper do?"

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "This is another corny ass joke, isn't it?"

He shrugged. "C'mon, just answer the question."

His eyes were pleading and beady so I sighed and answered. "I don't know, what does the nosy pepper do?"

A smile slowly crept upon Luke's face before he answered, wiggling his eyebrows. "He gets jalapeño yo business."

I kept a straight face for a moment before cracking a smile myself and bursting into a fit of giggles. Playfully, I nudged him in his arm.

"I'm glad you chose to be a country singer and not a comedian because you sure as hell wouldn't of made it in the comedy business." I stated.

Luke chuckled and leaned down to place a soft kiss on my head, squeezing his arms tighter around me. "You're probably right on that one my dear."

Eventually me and Luke did get ready for the day, getting dressed at around two so Luke could go do sound check. He invited me to tag along but I opted out, preferring to have some alone time on the sandy beach that I'd sadly neglected during our stay here. In my suit and carrying a towel, I walked through the kitchen, passing my phone on the way. I stopped briefly before picking up my cellphone and dialing Leah's number.

The call tone sounded for a moment before she picked up. "Caroline! Hola!"

I laughed. "Hola to you too!"

"Sorry I just thought it'd be fitting since you're in Mexico and all."

"Yah, I got your point."

"So how are things going with hunky boy Luke down there in paradise?" She asked.

I bit my lip and smiled. "Really well actually. Leah... he feels the same way I do."

Leah squealed. "See now what did I tell you? I told you to go after him and look where y'all are now!"

I sighed happily. "He kissed me on a yacht and then later that night swam around talking to me and told me how he felt. Oh he remembered that night from college too." I wasn't going to tell Leah about the shirt. "And as you probably have guessed already-"

"YALL DID THE NASTY ooh my Carol is gettin' her some action from Mr. Luke Bryan."

I gasped. "Leah hush, yes we did things and stop talking like that, you're married for petes sake."

I could feel her smirking through the phone. "Is he good?"

"Oh my God Leah, I can't believe you just asked that!"

"Well..." She nagged.

I picked at my bathing suit and slowly nodded as if she could she me. "Yah, yah, he's good. Like as good as you would expect Luke Bryan to be and then five times better. He's so sweet and caring but than in an instance he'll take charge."

Leah busted out laughing and I joined in. We continued talking for a little while until I went outside. I tanned and swam around for a but before Luke showed up back at the house. I didn't even realize it was almost 5:30. Drying off, I went inside and found Luke pulling a bunch of groceries out of bags and placing them on the counter.

"What are you doing?" I asked, coming up behind him.

Luke turned around and but his lip as I came into his view. "Damn, I really love that bikini."

I chuckled. "Me too mister. Why do you think I wear it all the time?"

He laughed. "I think you wear it just to tease me."

I shrugged. "Well, maybe that too."

Luke smirked and pondered my response before gesturing towards the groceries laid out on the counter top.

"Go change. I plan on making you dinner tonight." He then smiled.

A wide smile spread across my face. "I think I'd like that."

He returned a soft smile, allowing me to slip away and get ready. As I showered, rinsing the salt water from my skin and hair, I began to wonder if he'd ever make us official. I mean, I know we just truly did open up to each other, but could you blame me for wanting it to happen soon? Then the tabloid and magazine headlines popped into my head, making me gulp. I got out and slipped into a robe to do my hair and makeup.

Luke Bryan Dating Nanny
Luke Bryan seems to be in an intimate relationship with Caroline Boyer, nanny of his children, Bo (7) and Tate (5), as well as his adopted nephew Til Cheshire (14). Did he get her pregnant leading to him having to take responsibility? Mind you, Bryan just lost his wife of six years, Chelsea Linaburry, to breast cancer three years ago.

I shook my head as I looked into my closet. No, Luke would shoot those rumors right down. And even if those allegations were made, we'd just have to ignore them. The important thing is we know none of that is true and that's all that matters.

As I gazed at my selection of clothes, I finally picked out a simple but nice outfit.

I slipped down the hall to find the house still and quiet. Of course I assumed Luke was outside so I headed that way. Sure enough, Luke was outside at the grill. I cleared my throat, causing Luke to turn around.

He grinned. "Dinner is almost done! Just around the corner I have a table set up."

He held his hand out to me and I obliged, taking it. He led me around the house and towards the water's edge. I could see the table he'd set up with glasses of white wine. He pulled out a chair for me and I gasped, this was beautiful.

"Luke, this-this is amazing. You did all of this?" I asked.

He nodded, chuckling. "All me darlin'."

"I love it!" I exclaimed, leaning up and placing a kiss on his lips.

Luke kissed back almost immediately, deepening it after each second. We pulled back and stared at each other, breathing heavy. A smile curled up on the edges of Luke's lips.

"If I knew making you dinner would get me that kind of treatment, I would have started doing it a long time ago." He breathed.

I nodded. "See, give a little, get a little."

He smirked. "Boyer, Boyer, Boyer... you're full of more surprises than you let on. Now let me go get the gourmet cuisine."

"Gourmet, eh?" I questioned, slightly raising an eyebrow.

"Hey, I can cook, you just wait. It'll melt in your mouth."

"Sure cowboy." I said, winking.

He lightly slugged me in the arm before jogging back up the beach. As I watched him disappear, I sat myself down and took a sip of the white wine that was already poured. The sun was almost all the way set over the water, giving it an orange glow. Everything was perfect.

Luke returned fairly quickly, carrying two plates. He set my plate in front of me and his in front of himself. I looked at the feast set before me, my mouth watering at the delicious smells wafting up to my nose. Luke had made surf and turf.

"Luke this looks absolutely delicious!" I said, taking a bite. I nodded, placing my hand over my mouth. My voice was muffled. "I was right."

Luke smiled softly. "Thank you miss, I'm glad you enjoy it. I slaved over it the grill for hours."

I rolled my eyes. "Sure you did."

We ate in silence for a little while, enjoying the food and the beautiful scene before us. I watched Luke, feeling the love growing in my heart more and more each day. Sometimes I felt like I was going to explode. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to spend my life with him and I hope he wants to spend his life with me too. I want to expand our family. Yes, I do feel like we're all a family. I love those kids like they're my own. I want to grow old with him and spend our golden years together.

I set my fork down, startling Luke. "You okay there?" He asked, setting his form down as well.

I inhaled sharply. "I love you."

He gave me a confused look and chuckled. "I love you too."

I shook my head. "No, I'm being serious about all of this."

He nodded slowly and reached his hand across the table, placing it over top of mine. He gave it a little squeeze, encouraging me to go on.

"I've never been me. Truly, positively, completely, 100% me. I've always jumped from here to there, indecisive, wether it be a job or a guy, whatever. It always seemed like something was missing, there was always a kink somewhere in my life. I still don't know who I am, or who I'm going to be. I still have a long life ahead of me full of twist and turns and ups and downs." I paused for a moment, reaching up to wipe a tear that had escaped from my eye. I continued after a shaky breath. "But I do know that I am more me than I have ever been when I am with you, and that right there is how I know you complete me. Luke, you're the thing I never knew I was missing. The pieces, they all seem to fit together with you."

By this point I wasn't on the verge of tears anymore, I had them streaming down my cheeks along trails of mascara. Luke, too, seemed to be teary eyed and he stood up. I followed suit and he wrapped me in his arms. I could feel the hotness of his breath against my neck as he buried his face into my hair.

"I love you Caroline. I truly do." He whispered in my ear before letting me go.

I searched his eyes and found that they held nothing but love. "Luke," I breathed. "I know this is a long shot but I don't want to be temporarily yours anymore."

He smiled wide. "Screw our contract, screw your business name. I want you. I want all of you, your perfect imperfections, little giggles, cries. Caroline, will you be my girlfriend?" He chuckled, smiling wider. "Screw that too. Will you be my future wife because I plan on keeping you until the day we die."

I gasped and nodded. "Of course Luke."

Luke picked me up, causing me to wrap my legs around his waist. I squealed. He carried me to the house, obviously one thing on his mind.

"Luke you have a show to do in two hours!" I exclaimed.

"We've got time." He growled in my ear, sending chills down my arms.
