I slowly walk to him after an hour. He's sound asleep. I then exited the room and see a tall figure waiting at the lobby
" Hey " I said
" Hey. Is Kai upstairs? " Chanyeol asks
" Yeah sound asleep " I nod
" Is it okay to meet you like this? " Chanyeol chuckles
" What's wrong with it? If you want Jongin to join us, I can wake him up " I state
" No no. He's tired.. Just let him be. Um.. How are you? " He asks
" Fine. Getting to slowly scan Jongin for this two days, he's actually quite nice. But he is rushing me too much " I pout
" Ofc. I bet he misses you so much. Even I will be like that if I'm him " He sits down on the sofa
" Really? " I tilt my head
" Yeah.. I cant explain in words how you guys were. You never even look at me you know, you have your eyes on him. All the time although I know you were actually missing me hehe " He smirks
" Lol then? " I roll my eyes
" He took care of you, grant every single wish you made, Idk.. " He sighs
" Did he tell you anything about me recently? About us arguing or what? " I frown
" No, never. Why? Did you? " He looks at me
" Just for a short moment. I bet he's okay now " I mumble

PARK CHANYEOL POV
" What is it? " He shivers to the coldness

Yeah, that's my plan. I can see it. I may be the reason on why Kyungsoo is so attached to me than Kai. I think they need some space

" Hey, good morning Jongin! " Kyungsoo wakes me up with a smile
" Hey " I rub my sleepy eyes and yawn

My heart softens upon hearing his laughs but.. Remember your plan Jongin? Dont lose to him!
" Is it going to take long? I'm quite busy today " I ignore his reaction and walk away to the bathroom in the ward
" Nah it wont. You will love it! " He excitedly said
" Maybe another time. I have to go " I grab my car keys after done washing my face
" Oh.. Okay then, I'll tell you when you come here later " He said
" I'm going to be here late. Dont wait for me " I steal a glance at Dongjun and walk out

Okay, this is hard. Why is he acting like that? Suddenly, my phone rings
" Yeobeoseyo " I said
" Where were you? Why didnt you come back home? " Mom starts to nag on the phone
" Erm.. " I mumble thinking of an excuse
" Dont tell me you are with that Jongin! " Mom warns
" Ah? Anyia anyia. I'm at the hospital. Yesterday, I found a kid who really needs help. So I'm here looking after him. He doesnt have parents anymore " I explain
" Really? Where is the hospital? Let me come and check " She said
Jongin said he'll be back late, right? Good.. Mom and dad wouldnt wait here for long, would they?
" Sure. It's Parang Hospital. You can come over now. Earlier the better " I said
" Nah, your dad is not home now. I'll come around 8pm " She informs
" Oh.. Okay then " I nod
After ending the call, I quickly message Jongin

KAI POV
I was driving to nowhere, when suddenly received a message from Kyungsoo. Haih, I wanted to reply but.. I cant. I'll just leave those 'read' marks

He must be busy. He couldnt even reply even a single 'K'.

" omma appa " I said as I open the door
" This is the boy? Aw so cute " Mom said
" Yeah. Um.. Btw, I just wanna tell you that I actually adopted him already. Since he has no one to rely on. Can I? " I look at them

Suddenly, unexpected thing happen. The door fcking opens and reveals Jongin's face. But he didnt text me in the first place!
" Why are you here... " Mom is shocked to see him
Jongin's face is full of surprise. He then looks at me and I couldnt say anything. Gad damn
" You lied? " Dad looks at me
" I-I'm sorry " I apologise
Dad suddenly walks up to me and a slap runs on my cheek
" Ow " I gasp
" I never teach you to lie! Is it that hard to listen to me?! " Dad screams while hitting me
" Sir, pls "
The pain suddenly ease away for a moment. I look up and see Jongin defending me with his body
" Dont hit him anymore, sir. It is not his fault " Jongin states
" If you cant listen to me, then I'll make HIM listen to me! Stay out! " Dad pushes Jongin but he didnt move a bit
" Sir, you dont have to worry anymore. I.. I decided to marry Jiae and.. divorce your son " He slowly said
The thunder strikes my heart. He what?
" Is this a joke? " Mom asks
" No maam. I am serious " Jongin makes up his mind
" Jongin.. You didnt even tell me about this " I reach for his fingers

" Have a good day " He bows and walks out of the ward

I run down the stairs to the lobby. My eyes are wildly looking for the figure, my mind is aching so much. Lots of scenes are going on in my head. Seems like something from the past
" Jongin? " I see him crossing the road
Without thinking, I speed up to the door and push it open.
" Jongin! " I yell while crossing

The horn was loud, then everything seems to be black and white. Everything and everyone freezes except Jongin

I can see us washing mattress together. Then, it moves to somewhere odd, beside a beach? On a horse. All of the promises he stated, I can hear it

I snap out of the flashback when suddenly, a figure hugs me tight and turns me around, protecting me from the car. Luckily, the car stop just in time
" Are you crazy?! " Jongin looks at me
My eyes get teary hearing him scolding me. I slowly cup his face and caresses his cheek with my thumb. How I miss this face
" J-Jongin " I said
" Lets get you up " He said as he helps me and we walk to the side
" Dont do that again after this " He reminds and distances himself from me
" Jongin, I saw you just now.. In my head " I said
" You are hallucinating. Go back to your parents. Otherwise, they'll say I'm trying to persuade you back when I'm not " He looks away
" N-no. It is different this time. You have to hear me " I walk closer and reach for his hand but he avoids the touch
" D-dont... come near me " He states
" Why? Jongin, I remember it now. I do! " I said truthfully
By that time, he suddenly takes out his phone that is ringing.
" Excuse me " He turns around to answer the call
KAI POV
" Hey baby. I see you down there, watcha doin? " Jiae chuckles
" You're here? " I look around but trying not to be obvious to Kyungie
" He's begging to you? Hm.. I dont mind. I'm just calling to tell you that I hired a person down there with a rifle. If you can see, he's behind the mailbox lol " She laughs
My heart skips a bit and immediately searches for a mailbox. There, a big red one. On top of it, I can see two tiny holes. Must be the mouth of the rifle
" Dont do something crazy Jiae " I warn
" Okay, lets just make it simple. Either no ones gets you or he can just say bye bye to his precious life. And more, I'm with the little kid here, what's his name? Dongjun right? Poor him, if I would just be kinder to not to pull out one of the tube, haih " She fakes a sigh
" Dont touch him, Jiae. Where is D.O's parents?! " I ask
" Dont worry. They're out looking for Soo " She said
" What do you want me to do? " I finally give up thinking about happiness
I turn around, looking at Kyungsoo's face while talking to Jiae
" Plan A, walk away and be with me. Kyungsoo will live just fine. Plan B, go and hug your precious wife for the last time. At the same time, this kid dies " Jiae said
I waste no time to just hang up. Now, avoid his touches especially a hug! And dont ever look into his eyes, Kai. You cant do that. You'll loose to him
" Anything more to talk? I have a meeting " I said from far
" Arent you happy I remember everything back? Jongin.. " He looks sad
" Oh, how sad. You have no effort to remember me so I decided to just flush you away yesterday and thank god, I'm doing just fine " I carve a smile
" Jongin, this is not you. If it's about Chanyeol, no! I'm sorry! I'm sorry I went through an accident and idk anything and suddenly you are mad because of jealousy. I'm sorry to make you that way. I'm sorry " He keeps on apologizing
No, stupid. That is not what I want to hear. Not that
" Remember what I said? YOU ARE MY PRIORITY, JONGIN. You are my number one in the list " He said, his voice is shivering
he might catch a cold. I should end this fast so he can just go inside and do wtv. At least it is warm
" You can just keep that to yourself. Get inside, it's cold. Message me about tomorrow. Dont forget " I remind
" ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT DIVORCING ME?! " He screams
I dont want to answer that. I keep on walking, pulling my jackets closer to my body
" Bitch why wont you answer me?! Something is depressing you, isnt it?! " He keeps on yelling
" If it cost me my life to continue living with you, I would "
I hear him mumbling. But right now... This is a real situation, i cant let him die just like that!
Jiae POV
I smile while looking at the scene from above. Good, Jongin. Like I said, I'll get what I want! I will
*ring ring *
" Yeobeoseyo? " I answer the call
" So? " Chanyeol asks
" Nope. Not gonna come with you " I said
" I didnt call you 2 hours ago to hear a yes or a no right now. I asked you to pack up your things. We are leaving this place " He states
" Haha Jongin decided to marry me oppa. Why should I leave " I chuckle
" He what " He sounds shocked
" Hehe yes, you heard it right " I nod
" How about Kyungsoo. What have you done! " He raise his voice a bit
" Bye " I end the call quickly
CHANYEOL POV
I quickly park my car to the side and diall Kyungsoo's number
" Bae, what happened? " I ask, becoming very worried
" I failed everybody. I.. I.. " His sobs are very loud, like a kid
" Okay, relax. Tell me where you are, I'll come " I said
He didnt respond for about a minute. Listening to his cries, breaks my heart so much. I made a mistake
" Bae, I'm sorry for leaving at this kind of moment " I apologise
" I'll talk to you later " He then ends the call
What? I scroll down to Kai's number
" Yeobeoseyo " I said
" Hm " He replies
" What did Jiae asked you to do this time? " I ask
Jongin isnt someone to just decide and marry that girl.
" What are you talking about " He said
" Quit it. Kyungsoo is crying like crazy when I called him. And Jiae said you're going to marry her, what's all this? "
" Lol.. He complained to you right? And yeah I'm going to marry your own sister. You can officially make Kyungsoo yours by tomorrow " He states
" Wtf Kai " I gasp
" Chill, bro. Be happy " He chuckles
" Kai, I was planning leave Seoul and I told Kyungsoo about it! So that both of you will be alone and have the time without me. Fak Jiae " I snap
" You're leaving? " Now, he sounds like him
" Yes! If I didnt tell you, will Kyungsoo tell you?! If I leave, he'll be alone now! " I pour out
KAI POV

" Chanyeol, I dont do this on purpose " I finally give in
" I know that " He said
" You have to help me " I state
" Wtv it is Kai, I will. " He agrees
" Bad mouth about me infront of Kyungsoo. Make him hate me " I request
" This is not the request you should be asking me for " He mumbles
" Please, Chanyeol. I am begging you. I'm trying to save Kyungsoo. I dont want him to keep on holding onto me any longer! " I explain
" But why. You love him. And you know that he is the old Kyungsoo now! He wont listen to me anymore! " He said
" If he hates me, it will be easier for both sides. I'm talking seriously, Chanyeol. He could die because of me! After everything he went through, cant you see? He's suffering in every way. I'm counting on you " My voice trails
" What about you " He asks
" I'm a hero hahaha dont worry about me, I'll be fine " I laugh
" You're strong, you know that right? " He reminds
I stay quiet for a bit, thinking about it. Am I?
" I know you are. And god will do justice, believe me " Chanyeol said and he ends the call

My heart is racing while waiting for Kyungsoo to come. Jiae, mom, dad and my lawyer is here. Well, I expect Chanyeol to be here with him too. At least, Kyungsoo will have a shoulder to cry on altho my shoulder will be the best place for him
" Mr Kim, Mrs Kim is here " My assistant said from the phone
My heart skips a bit when I hear the title.. In another hour, that title will no longer exist in my life. The door creaks open, revealing Kyungsoo and Chanyeol. Thank god
" I think we can start " I said while looking at my lawyer

Suddenly, he scratches the whole paper with the pen. Not just that, he tears the paper repeatedly

" What?! yah! Jongin has the power to divorce you! You cant just do whatever you like! " Jiae stands up, yelling

Just then, the door opens and a team of police barge in
" What is all this! " Mom screams, shocked to see
" Haha I recorded our conversation when you said you wanted to kill Kyungsoo and Dongjun. I cant tolerate this anymore, Jiae. What are you? What's so good about you? Why should everyone listen to you? I hope you realise how stupid you are now, thank you " I chuckle
" Damn you Jongin! Let go of me. Let go! " Jiae struggles from the police grip
A laugh escapes my mouth and I look at Kyungsoo. I open my arms, welcoming him into my embrace
" What is all this. Jongin tell me " Dad asks
" Actually, we planned this out yesterday hehe " I said

I called Chanyeol back after he hung up.
" Wait. Cut whatever I said just now, I want Kyungsoo back " I stated
" Whoo now that is Kai! Tell me your plan, buddy " Chanyeol chuckled
" Lets meet up. Bring Kyungsoo too. We'll plan everything there. Plus, we'll do a drama in my office tomorrow okay! " I laughed

" Cancel every meeting this week. I'm going for a family vacation " I said and eyes Chanyeol
He was busy motioning me to ask for the number. Pfft he really dont know to attract a lover
" And hey Baekhyun " I call out my assistant name before he walks out
" Yes sir? You want to add in more days of holiday? " He immediately asks
" Lol do you think I'm ditching my work? " I ask and he laughs softly
" Nahhh. That guy over there asks you out for dinner. Tonight.Go on double date with me and my wife " I put my arm around Kyungsoo's shoulder
" I would love to but I am sorry.. I have a meeting today with Mr Kim's father " Baekhyun said
" Dad? " I turn my head to my dad
