It took us about an hour to calm Kasie down. She began freaking out, crying, screaming. It wasn't until Logan took her by the hands, leaned over and smashed his lips onto hers. She was still sqwirming, but it wasn't to the point where she threw him off.
James shifted uneasily from where he was standing because he wasn't in the action. I chuckled under my breath just looking at him. Personally, I think he was crushing on Kasie harder than anyone else in this room. Besides Logan of course. He pulled away from her and gazed hard into her eyes. Just the way he held her hands, I knew he would do anything for her.
He whispered something towards her, and she nodded her head. Logan's right hand came undone from her's and he stood right next to her, still holding at least one of them. The room was quiet as ever while we all stared at each other. It was Kasie who broke the ice.
"I'm alright. I know I'm alright. Don't worry. I'll be fine for tonight." She spoke, her voice still sounded quite shaky.
"Well, why don't one of us stay for the night? Extra protection." James spoke up, his voice rising with excitement. It was obvious that he had the hots for her. I mean, it's James Diamond. He gets any girl he lays eyes on. Taken or not.
"That's a great idea James." Logan spoke. He hinted a little,"Stay the fuck away from her." His eyes moved from him, and onto his girlfriend. She glanced up at him, and then back at us. It wasn't a bad idea. It was probably one of the only ideas James thought off that was brilliant.
"Yeah. That sounds great. Logan, can you stay tonight?" She asked, her voice coming out in a soft whisper. His eyes lowered and he gave her a small smile. Kasie grinned, and closed her eyes, and her hand slipped from the protective grip of Logan's. The rest of us turned around and left, with Logan behind us. Once the door was shut, it got interesting.
"Back off James." Logan spoke in a hushed whisper. I wasn't surprised he went after James first. I mean, the tension in that room was only growing.
"What? I'm just trying to be a good friend." James defended himself. Carlos gave a snort and covered his mouth with his right hand. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Everyone knew James was crushing on her. Well, I don't know if Kas knows or not.
"Good friend my ass." He jabbed a finger at James, and then turned towards me. He began explainning that he was going to stay here, but he needed some books and clothing. I nodded my head, and then he turned towards Carlos. He directed some orders towards him, and then back at Lover boy. Logan turned on his heals and headed back into the room shutting the door quietly.
~ Next Day, Kasie.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
My consciousness began to come back to me the next morning. Last night, I didn't have the best of dreams. All I really saw was blood, and these blood shot red eyes. I of course don't remember much of it, but all I do remember was it was a horrible dream. I hated it. Blinking twice, I noticed that the room was filled with sunlight.
It must have been noon by now. My legs began to stretch a little, and my arms along with them. Turning my head towards the right, I saw my boyfriend sitting down with a cup of coffee, and reading a book. He was so into it that I couldn't help but smile.
Personally, being with him, I was beginning to notice the little things about him. I mean, I just met him two days ago, and now just the little details that make him Logan. Like how whenever he would smile, his cheeks flushed slightly, and his eyes were bright. Those types of details. Just a few moments later, he closed the book, and stretched out. Then his eyes turned and locked on mine.
I felt my own cheeks warming up under his look. There was something about him looking at me that made me want to just, Oh. There was that feeling again. That feeling of,"Want." My insides began to turn and "crunch." I wanted this man more than anything right now.
"Morning Kas." He spoke softly. I nodded in his general direction, and gave him a small smile. Logan picked up his chair, and moved it closer to me, after placing his book down. My left hand extended out, and he took it. I began messing around with a few of his fingers. Brushing mine against his skin, and squeezing his index, and thumb.
"Having fun there dear?" He calmly spoke. I nodded my head and let out a small laugh. I asked him the time after a few moments, and he told me that I slept throughout the entire morning, and it was already two in the afternoon. He also told me that I was talking in my sleep. I didn't ask him what I said, because I didn't want to know. Personally, if I did know, I would know what my horror like dream was about.
The door opened seconds later, and Kendall stepped through. He had a box of chocolates, and a few bags of chips. I noticed that he was holding a water in his right hand. Okay, why did he buy chocolates? That's my question.
"I see your up Kas." Kendall calmly stated. I only nodded my head. I felt like if I talked, then my voice would get worse. Apparently, it wasn't the best, and I didn't want to mess around with it. The blond walked over towards my right side, after handing a few things to Logan. He stood there with his hands in his pockets, and those emerald eyes gazing down at me.
"She just woke up. And thanks for the chocolates. I needed some sugar. The food here is okay, but not the greatest. How are the guys?" Logan asked like he's been away from them for a week. This boy surprises the heck out of me. And he'll always surprise me. No matter what.
"They're fine. Katie got back from a sleep over last night. My mother is doing fine. She's a little sick though. Sneezing a little bit. I think it might be affecting the others. Anyways, when do you think she'll be able to go home?" He asked as if I were asleep.
"Tomorrow hopefully." I answered my voice sounded awful. It reminded me a little bit of a youtuber, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I really hate hospitals. Something about them freaks me the fuck out. Probably because my mother almost died in a hospital, and my great grandfather died in one.
"And she speaks." Kendall joked. I flipped him off with my free hand. It wasn't until long that I feel asleep again. The two of them where singing a very lovely song. It was Nickelback, Lullaby.
"So give it one more try, to a lullaby. And turn this song on the radio. If you can hear me now, I'm reacting out to let you know that you're not alone. And if you can't tell, I'm scared as hell. Cause I can't get you on the telephone. So just close your eyes, close your eyes. Well honey here comes a lullaby, your very own lullaby."
~7:30 PM
This time, I woke up to just Logan singing softly to himself. Surprisingly, I knew the band, and the song.
"...can you here me dear? Now I'm thumbing trough the pages. Of the beautifully romantic years. I can hear you dear, I can hear you dear. Cause right in front of me, you disappear. Your still vanishing, you left me here. I stand here today, so far from the same. It's hard to move on without you, so my God fill these spaces left in me. I'm so near to lost, but I'm not. So near to lost, but I'm not alone."
Why was he singing Afterglow? I shifted in my seat, which caused him to stop singing. Personally, that song he was singing is extremely sad. Even through the band is Christian, the message it gives off is extremely depressing, yet joyful. I couldn't help but stare at him, and of course he stared back at me. We didn't talk until I began singing the chorus again.
"I stand here today. So far from the same. It's hard to move on without you. So my God fill these spaces left in me. I'm so near to lost, but I'm not. I'm everything but lost, cause I'm not alone." Even though it was the last part of the song, it always got me. Logan moved closer and placed his hand in mine. Well, he actually grabbed both of my hands, and held them.
"You're never alone. Ever. I will always be by your side no matter what." My eyes began burning a little bit, meaning that I was about to cry. I began to choke up, and my lower lilp began trembling. Logan looked like he was about to cry to, which made me want to cry even harder. My mind was racing, my body was heating up. I didn't know what to say, but I love you.
"Thank you. Thank you Logan. I-I don't know what to say. But, I love-" I got cut off with a kiss. That's was it. I broke down. Tears began flowing down my cheeks, and the kiss grew softer by the minute. Logan pulled away, and brushed a few tears away.
"Don't cry Kas. I love you too. We'll both get through this. I promise you." He spoke rubbing my right cheek. I nodded my head and gave a slight smile.
"You need to sleep darling." Was the only thing I spoke. He chuckled under his breath and answered that little statement.
"If I'm going to sleep, that means you're going back." He whispered. I only nodded my head agreeing with him.
"Okay Logie." I spoke out of the blue. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THAT CAME FROM! I PROMISE DEARY! My subconscious was yelling at me, while my mind was trying to regroup. I can't believe I just called him Logie. LOGIE! I mean, yeah, it was a cute nickname a friend of mine came up with, but SERIOUSLY?!
"Logie?" He questioned cranking his head to the side. I couldn't help but blush and look away from him. I heard a slight laughter come from his mouth as he leaned over and whispered in my ear.
"I love it. G'Night love." And with that, he kissed my cheek.
