Souls POV
Todays the day.
Todays the day Kid will go see his father. Its been a week since the river incident, and in that time Kid has been opening up more.
Tsubaki came over a few times and got him to eat a bit more and he's slowly starting to trust her aswell. The others still havent come around but Kid doesnt seem too worried.
We are walking up the the stairs to the DWMA. Im holding Kids hand, hes really nervous and is shaking slightly. Tsubaki offered to come as moral support so we are meeting her there.
We walked through the doors and past all the students and classrooms. Tsubaki was waiting outside Steins classroom.
"Hey Soul, Hey Kid, are you ready?"
Kid nodded but stayed close to me, the crowds were getting thicker in the hallways. I held his hand firmly and i led him through the crowd, Tsubaki following behind.
We reached Lord Deaths room and thankfully the halls had cleared. Kid stood infront of the door and took a deep breathe.
I squeezed his hand for reassurance and he squeezed back. Apart from us only Tsubaki knows of our relationship.
~~~~~flashback to two days ago~~~~~
Kid grabbed some popcorn from the microwave and put on the movie Frozen.
We sat on the couch, Kid next to me leaning in my chest. I had my arm round him and the fed Kid popcorn every so often.
We were getting towards the end of the film and Kid fell asleep. He's so cute in his sleep, the movie ended so i gently picked Kid up. He stirred and opened his eyes.
I smiled. "You missed the end of the movie"
He pouted "awww the ending is so good"
I laughed and bent down to kiss him. He met me halfway and wrapped his arms around my neck.
The front door opened and in walked Tsubaki. She gasped as she shut the door. We immediatly broke apart.
"Yes, i knew it!" She squealed.

Kid lifted his arm and knocked on the door. The doors opened but Kid didnt move.
He looked at me and Tsubaki
"Will you both stay no matter what? I - I dont want to be alone"
"Of course we will Kid"
He took a deep breath and we walked into the room.
We reached the middle of the room where Lord Death was their alone, with his back to the door.
"H-hello father" Kid stuttered quietly.
Lord Death spun round and gasped.
"Kid... youre here"
Kid tightened his grip on my hand. Lord Death took note of this but carried on talking to Kid.
"Are you okay? What happened?" Lord Death had soon after Asura was defeated changed his voice to a less annoying squeaky one, it was deep but not too deep.
Kid shyed away holding my arm, i have to admit if i was in Kids shoes i would be scared of Lord Death's booming voice.
Lord Death looked surprised and looked at me. Kid looked at me too, then Tsubaki.
Tsubaki spoke first. She explained what had happened to make Kid leave school. Leaving out the cutting, our relationship and the near drowning incident i explained what we were doing to help.
"THEY DID WHAT?!?!?!?"
Lord Death whipped round to his mirror and called spirit, he answered and Lord Death to told him to expell Ikuto, Dare and Taku.
After a minute of silence, Lord Death spoke.
"Thank you Soul and Tsubaki for your help but i can take it from here, Kid come along we going home!"
Kid snapped his head up.
"N-no i want to stay with Soul and Tsu-"
"Come Kid dont be stupid come with me!"
"No!"
Lord Death sighed and reached his still giant white hands towards Kid. I let go of his hand and wrapped my arms around him protectively. Kid clung tightly to my chest, as Lord Death tried to tear us apart. Tsubaki joined protecting Kid and he eventually gave up.
If it was even possible to see through his mask, i could see the sadness in his eyes. He looked at me and said.
"Look after him ok?"
I nodded.
"Will you come back to school?" He looked at Kid.
"I-i dont know" he whispered.
Lord Death nodded and told Tsubaki to leave with Kid so he could talk to me.
"Is there something your not telling me?"
I looked up at him, "what do you mean?"
He consulted his mirror and i saw the river incident and what happened after.
I looked to the floor.
"Im guessing you were planning to not tell me of this relationship."
I nodded. "We didnt know what you would say"
Lord Death laughed. I looked at him confused.
"Ive been waiting for you two to get together!"
I stood staring at Lord Death.
"Now in all seriousness, you will look after him wont you?"
"Ill protect him with my life!"
He seemed satisfied and i left the room. I opened the doors to find Kid hiding behind Tsubaki and the rest of the group heading this way. I quickly stood next to Tsubaki concealing Kid behind me.
"Soul? You back? Where have you been?" Maka questions filled the air as the drew closer.
"Oh! ... umm just helping out Kid"
"Oh where is he?" Liz asked "is he okay?"
Tsubaki nodded. "He is fine!"
Blackstar frowned and turned to her. "How do you know?"
She froze and looked at me.
"Shes just..."
Maka interupted me.
"She knows whats happened doesnt she, why cant you tell us?"
I felt Kid behind me draw closer to me, signalling not to tell.
"Its not my place to say" i said.
The four didnt look happy.
"We just want to help!" Patty said surprisingly not hyper.
Blackstar had been strangely quiet until he suddenly perked up.
"Why is Kid hiding behind you?"
I felt Kid tense up behind me. Blackstar pulled Tsubaki aside revealing Kid.
