They thought she was just a firefly.
Hopping around from one destination to another,
Lighting up people's eyes.
They thought they could catch her
Inside a glass jar
And put her on display.
Little did they know
That she was also a volcano--
The raging, almost-about-to-erupt kind.
So when they came to catch her,
She broke their glass jars
Along with the little bubble they lived in
Where she was a slave.
