Probably one of my favorite chapter I have written.
Chapter 24:
The week of Sectionals arrives and a few days ago Rose and Finn found out that Kurt's leaving McKinley High.
Rose's POV
So this week we found out that Kurt's getting bullied by Karofsky again. Finn and I found that he transferring himself to another school.
Rose: Kurt why are you leaving McKinley?
Kurt: I told you already Rose
Rose: I have been bullied before, but that didn't stop me from going to McKinley
Finn: I agree with Rose, and beside how are you even paying for this?
Kurt: with the money Carole and dad were going to used for their honeymoon
Finn: I thought we agreed that was supposed to be for Rose saving funds for college
Kurt: I already work it out
Finn: without consulting me first as a family Kurt
Kurt: look I knew you wouldn't understand which is why I did it behind your back. Beside in Carole and dad will, they said they gave a bunch of saving for college for the three of us so we don't have to worry about it
Finn: wait what will?
Kurt: you know the will the judge gave us after our parents died so we know what they have left us with. They gave us the car, the house, dad gave you his business and they both have save up money from the three of us to go to college with no problem, all that was left was the money that they were going to use for all their trip money they were saving up for, and I'm using that money to help pay for my school
Finn: but Dalton Academy is expensive Kurt, what about the rest?
Kurt: I'll get a job. Don't worry will be fine
Finn: what about the house bill? This is too much to worry about Kurt
Rose: I can help get a job
Finn/Kurt: no
Rose: why not?
Finn: because you're too young that's why
Kurt: and you need to be focusing on school, and beside you have a bunch of chores at home you still haven't got done yet
Finn: which I don't understand why you're not doing it now?
Rose: because we're having a family meeting
Both brothers give her a look and she sigh and got up and said.
Rose: fine I'll go do my chores and stop worrying about this
Finn: good girl
Rose groan and left the room to get started on her chores while the boys argue about the money situation.
The Next Day.
The week of Sectionals arrives, and when Emma guesses exactly what New Directions' setlist will be, Will realizes it's time to change things up to let other members of the club shine, so he gives Rachel and Finn's duet to Sam and Quinn and suggests that Brittany and Mike perform a dance number at sectionals as well. This does not sit well with Rachel, who loudly protests the decision, causing Santana to get fed up and tell Rachel that she slept with Finn last year. The rest of the New Directions look shocked while Rachel is very hurt by this and schedules a couples counseling session with Emma for the two of them. Rachel ends up storming out of the session.
Will told Puck that he needed to step up as one of the most well-known people in the school, and try to recruit more members. After Kurt, Rose, Sara, and Ryan had left glee club and since it was some part Puck's fault Mr. Schue had told him to find new members for glee club.
Puck made an announcement to the football team telling them to join, but the idea was quickly rejected by Azimio and Karofsky. The football team locks Puck in a port-a-potty, and he ends up stuck in it for 24 hours. He is finally rescued by Lauren Zizes. After he is freed from the port-a-potty, he asks Lauren if she wants to join Glee. She agrees, but only after Puck agrees to spend "7 minutes in heaven" with her.
Meanwhile, Kurt is in Dalton Academy and struggling to adjust to the energy of the place. The Warblers invite Kurt to join them for a meeting and they allow Kurt to join, but first he must watch over The Warblers' mascot, an actual warbler. Kurt then suggests that the Warblers sing "Rio" by Duran Duran for Sectionals, which the council politely declines. Blaine comes over to him after the meeting and offers Kurt the chance to audition to sing a solo at Sectionals. Kurt goes to Rachel for advice and she helps him learn Don't Cry for Me Argentina. Kurt auditions for the Warblers and then patiently awaits the results of the audition alongside Warbler members Nick and Jeff, only to discover from Blaine that Nick and Jeff will be moving on and that he is out of the running for a solo and must resign himself to singing in the background.
Blaine comforts Kurt by reminding him the group is one of uniformity and, in time, he will find a place.
Brittany is afraid that she will fail to perform well at sectionals. To give her more confidence, Artie gives Brittany a "magic comb" that he actually just found lying around, and tells her it will help her win. Later, however, Tina tells Artie that Brittany and Mike are having an affair. Artie attempts to talk to Brittany several times but she keeps avoiding Artie, increasing his suspicions.
Later, Finn and Kurt had no idea who will watch Rose while they go to sectionals.
Rose: (sitting on the couch stares up at her brothers) I don't want to go to sectionals
Finn: (cross arm) and why not?
Rose: because I just quit and would make me feel uncomfortable because I heard that Quinn is taking my duet song with Sam that is supposed to be mine!
Finn: well would it make you feel better Rachel not having a solo this time
Rose: really just when I leave Mr. Schue actually letting others sing beside miss big mouth
Finn: yep
Rose: wait I thought you would be piss if I call your girlfriend names
Finn: I would but not in a mood, we are kind of in a fight right now
Rose: finally! What happened?
Finn: (raise eyebrow at her)
Rose: no offense sir
Finn: Santana told everyone in glee club that I had slept with her last year
Rose: ooo, and I miss this gossip details!!! First of all is it true?
Finn: yes... I only did it with Santana because I thought Rachel did it with Jesse
Rose: and now Rachel is pissed at you for not telling her
Finn: exactly and I don't see what's the big deal is since it happened last year when we weren't even dating!
Rose: I can see why she's pissed
Finn: really you're a girl tell me what she thinks
Rose: (pretends to be Rachel) hi I'm Rachel Berry, I have two dads, and my passion is singing. My dream is to go on Broadway to become a star and play from my favorite musical Funny Girl, and steal the lead role, so that I can be star of my own show (does the Jazz hand like the one Kurt had taught her)
Kurt laughs at her and Finn gives them both a look and Kurt shut up and Rose smiles innocently as her brother give her a look.
Rose: too much
Finn: yeah little bit tone it down
Rose: well if I were Rachel I can see why she would be upset. Santana is beautiful and Rachel is bleh
Finn: watch it
Rose: sorry, Rachel may think that She not beautiful enough like Santana for you to be going out with her
Finn: what? that's ridiculous
Rose: hey you ask me what would Rachel think, and I did it. Trust me Finn all girls think like that, especially if they have a hunk of a boyfriend which I don't see from you at all no offense
Finn: none taken, thanks anyways
Rose: hey I'm always here to help
Kurt: oh by the way did you hear that Quinn and Sam are dating now
Rose: thanks for rubbing it in Kurt
Kurt: I thought you're into Ryan
Rose: I am but I can't feel a bit jealous for Sam
Finn: really you two, talking about this now
Kurt/Rose: sorry
Finn: well what else do you want us to do?
Finn says going back on topic.
Finn: Rose, we can't leave you home
Rose: why not?
Kurt: because you're only 14
Rose: what? Your parents never left you guys home alone before
Finn: well... That's beside the point, you are not staying home by yourself period
Rose: you trust me right?
Kurt: no not a chance (cross arm)
Finn: that's why we hired you a babysitter since we knew you would decline our offer
Rose: please tell me not Mrs. Robinson from next door, her kids are horrible
Finn: it's either babysitting or you're coming with one of us
Rose: (pouts and cross arm) I'll guess I'll go with you guys
Kurt: okay I'll call Mrs. Robinson and telling her you're coming with us
Rose: (cross arm) this really sucks I wish Sara wasn't away at her grandma's with Mrs. P this weekend
Finn: I'll let Mr. Schue know that we're tagging you along so he can watch you while we perform
Rose: (roll eyes) whatever can I go now
Finn: hold on they're some rules, must be on your best behavior
Kurt: no being rude, or disrespectful
Finn: and when an one of us tell you to stay put, you stay put
Kurt: and always ask us where you're going first before you go ahead
Rose: I feel like I'm trap prisoner waiting on her next doom
Finn: sorry kiddo but these rules are to keep you safe
Kurt: and that's what big brothers do
Rose: I thought big brothers are suppose to annoyed the hell out of their sister
Finn: (shrugs shoulder) that too
...
As the team gets on the bus to Sectionals, Will worries that his plan for Sectionals was a bad idea because the group is now so divided. Emma tells Will she cannot go because Carl doesn't want her to. They had had a big fight about Will, and afterwards they made up and said they loved each other. Will says she will be missed, and sadly gets on the bus to go to Sectionals.
Finn pulls his trunk up to the school, Rose got out of the car and made her way into the school with Finn trying his best to catch up to his energetic younger sister.
Finn: Rose slow down!
Rose: sorry
Finn: see this is what I'm talking about. You better be careful when we arrive at sectionals because I don't want you to get lost in a crowd of people
Rose: (frown) yes sir
Finn: Look, the only reason you're here because the baby sitter bailed on us. That was your first warning don't screw it up. If you be good just maybe I will trust you to stay home by yourself one day
Rose: (smiles) really?
Finn: really, but that's only if you behave
Rose: (does solute) yes sir
Finn: Come on let's go Mr. Schue waiting on us
Rose nods and they head to parking lot and found the bus that was taking them to sectionals. Rose wave to Mr. Schue and he said to them.
Mr. Schue: there you guys are
Finn: sorry Mr. Schue we had to dropped off Kurt at Dalton
Mr. Schue: alright then get on the bus
Rose: I get the window seat! (gets on the bus)
Finn: I swear this is the last time I'm bringing her anywhere with me this kid is just too much
Mr. Schue chuckles and pats his shoulder and he follows Finn onto the bus and Finn sat down next to Rose who was already seated by the window and across from Puck and Mike.
Mr. Schue: alright guys Sectionals let's do this!
Everybody on the bus cheered and they were on their way to sectionals.
Chapter 36:
When they arrive at sectionals they all went to dressing room to get dress. Mr. Schue ask Rose if she can wanted to help him get organized before they go and sit with the others. When everyone was dressed and ready, Rose spot a snack station when they made their way to the auditorium.
Rose pulled on Finn sleeves and he looked down at her.
Finn: what Rose?
Rose: can I please buy a snack? (points over there)
Finn: I don't know Rose, you haven't ate dinner yet
Rose: please... (gives him puppy dog eyes)
Finn: I don't want you going by yourself
Rose: you can go with me
Finn: I'll ask Mr. Schue first though if it's okay
Rose nodded and Finn went to go talk to Mr. Schue to ask him. Rose really wanted to get candy she hated waiting so she went over there anyways. Rose stood by the glass and look at all the candy, her face grew big at all the delicious candy. She wish her school had stuff like this.
Owner: (looks at her) can I help you little girl
Rose: I'm just waiting on my brother first
Owner: alright
Finn comes back to where he was supposed to find Rose but finds her not standing there and he starts to panic.
Finn: Rose!!!
Rose: (looks around and over at Finn) over here!
Finn sigh in relief and stalk over to her and boy Rose did not like the look on his face.
Finn grabbed her hand and spin her around, and landed 2 hard swats on her backside making her jump and she blush a little because Finn spanked her but in public place.
Finn: Rosalinda Audra Hudson-Hummel what did I tell you not just few second again
Rose: to not move from the spot until you get back
Finn: and what did you do?
Rose: I left, but I couldn't wait anymore
Finn: I don't care, I give you rules to begin with young lady and you need to follow it
Rose: (frown) yes sir, am I in trouble
Finn: this is your second strike, you screw up and it's with the belt at home, understand me little girl
Rose: (gulps) yes sir
Finn: (sighs) come on let's buy a snack
Rose smile a little at the thought of snack. Rose bought herself Hersey bar, sour patch watermelon and gummy bears as Finn got himself some sour patch kids. He paid for them and Finn grabbed her hand so she doesn't run off again.
Finn let go of Rose hand and she got to her seat as well as Finn. Rose sat at the isle where the glee clubber sat while Finn sat beside her and Rachel and, the two were just in time for Kurt and the Warbler performance.
...
The Dalton Academy Warblers perform Hey, Soul Sister. The New Directions along with Mr. Schue and Rose cheered for Kurt and Rachel even support Kurt a little on stage who looked a bit nervous and Rose was smiling and rocking along to the song in her seat as she ate her candy.
In the green room, more drama unfolds as Quinn starts to panic about performing in front of an audience after going into labor the last time, Rose was just watching from her seat while eating her candy. Rachel finds out that everyone in the club knew that Finn slept with Santana other than her, and Artie confronts Brittany about being guilty of adultery, which she admits to. This causes Artie to storm off, and Tina also becomes angry at Mike. Rachel, Artie, and Tina all refuse to go on until Will reminds the club that only a year ago, they had no setlist and no choreography, but they pulled through as a team. The club decides to go on despite their differences.
...
Brittany tells Artie that she thought he had accused her of "a-dolt-ery," meaning that she was stupid, as the real reason she was avoiding him was that she lost his magic comb and doomed the team. Artie tells her that it was just a comb he found, and assures her that she can do it. Brittany smiles when Artie describes her as "magic" and tells him that she won't be dancing for the audience or the New Directions. She said she'll be dancing for Artie.
They both kiss before Sam and Quinn perform (I've Had) The Time of My Life, followed by Santana singing Valerie while Mike and Brittany doing the dance number. The results are soon announced. The Hipsters made third place and the Warblers tied with New Directions, and they will both be competing at Regionals.
The New Directions was so happy that they won, Mike lift Rose up in the air and spins her around making her giggle and then both Puck and Mike starts to tickle her.
Rose: *giggles* g-guys!!!
Both boys stop and kissed each side of her cheek making her smile and they each stole a bite of her gummy bear.
Dalton Academy congratulated them and New Directions did the same back, Rose goes over to Kurt and hugs him.
Rose: you were great big brother
Kurt: aww thanks Rose, are you eating candy?
Rose: maybe... (hides it behind her back)
Kurt: (gives her a look) Rose?
Rose: (points over at Finn) he said it was okay
Finn: hey I said as long as you share it and don't plan on eating it all
Kurt: (shakes head) Finn you know how sugar makes her hyper
Rose: (ignores her brothers conversation and smiles at one of the Dalton boys) hi are you Blaine?
Blaine: um... Yeah why, who are you?
Rose: because you're cute!!! And I love your performance on stage
Blaine: (smiles and pinch cheek) why thank you cutie
Rose: usually I don't allowed people to call me cute or pinch my cheek, but you're my okay kind of guy (whisper to Kurt) he's a keeper
Blaine: is that Rose
Kurt: yeah my annoying little sister
Rose: (smiles at him)
Kurt: shouldn't you guys be going
Finn: gee, we're going we're going, what's with the hustle brother
Finn says picking up Rose pulling her away from Blaine, she giggles as she was dangling behind Finn back. Kurt smiles at the them and shakes his head and he said to Blaine.
Kurt: I see you met my dysfunctional family
Blaine laughs and Kurt smiles a little.
Rose: (still being carried by Finn on their way back to the bus) Finn I can see you're bootie, a sister should never see that
Rachel laugh and Rose leg kick up in the air when Finn smack her butt lightly.
Rose: ow! Finn
Finn: just be careful who you're talking to
Rose pouts then smirk because she realize the she over Finn's shoulder and she smack his but just for payback.
Finn: ow! What the hell Rose?
Rose: hurts doesn't it
Finn: why you little...
Finn starts to tickles her and she giggles and said.
Rose: (laughing and coke out the words) o-okay, okay stop!!!
Finn: what's the magic word?
Rose: uh, uh, not saying it (laughs)
Finn: then I won't stop
Rose: (groans) ffffiiineeeee... Finn Hudson is is one of my hottest big brother! Happy!
Finn: (smirks and stop) very
Rose: (gets on the bus and sits back at her spot and takes a couple deep breath slowly)
Finn: (gets in and sits beside her and raise his eyebrow at her) you okay you don't need your asthma inhaler
Rose: no Kurt thought me a little trick. He taught me some breathing exercise
Finn: alright but you start breathing out of control use your inhaler next time okay
Rose: yes Finn
Finn: buckle up
Rose: Finn nobody buckles up on the school bus
Finn gives her a look and she quickly puts it on.
Finn: thank you
Soon the bus left and they were on their way back to McKinley after Mr. Schue had counted everybody that was here to make sure they hadn't left anybody behind.

Sectionals over and they won of course. Next will be the Christmas episode since one of my favorite beside the one in season 3. And since I never got a chance to do a Christmas episode wait for next chapter for it.
