They'd got off the plane a few hours ago and now they were in a taxi to the nearest car garage.
"How cool is this though?" Adelaide grinned holding up her little blue plane blanket that the crew had let her keep.
"Adelaide... You get those every time we fly to Toronto for filming." Toby said laughing, staring out the window onto this strange English land that he'd never visited before.
"Yes. And now I have 13!" She said proudly, leaning over Toby to look out the window too.
"Adelaide owww!" Toby groaned when she elbowed him in the ribs.
"Shhh Toby honestly the driver can't concentrate with such a beautiful lady in the back of the car never mind you going and yelling." Adelaide joked, still practically lying on him to watch the British scenery pass at 60 MPH. It was all a blur to Adelaide. But it was an English blur. And that was cool.

Adelaide would have been looking out her own window but she had been put in the middle seat because their suitcases and various camping equipment took up the seat next to them and the boot.
All Adelaide could see at the left of her was a black mountain of luggage with the occasional peep of white which were the luggage tags.
"True.. I mean I am a very very beautiful lady." Toby replied sarcastically, posing like he'd leapt off a page of vogue.
"Extremely beautiful." Adelaide confirmed, looking up at him from her almost lying down position on his knee.
She still had her hair in a messy bun and her sunglasses were hanging off her owl tee.

Later on the driver turned on the radio and Taylor Swift came on.
"Everything will be alright if we keep dancing like were twenty two..."
The catchy tune drifted into the previously silent atmosphere and Adelaide started to bob her head and then she looked over to Toby who looked back at her grinning.
"Would you mind if we... Sang?" Toby's request reached the driver's ears and the taxi driver smiled, nodded his head and turned up the volume.

"This one." Adelaide demanded, holding Toby's shirt and trying to take the wallet out of his back pocket.
"Adelaide we're camping! We can't go up the side of a mountain in an Audi." Toby replied firmly, keeping his eye on a Land Rover at the far end that looked much like his own in Toronto.
"Maybe not but we can get to the foot of the mountain in style." Adelaide said, opening the door and looking inside at all the fancy buttons.
"True though." Toby agreed, laughing and catching his suitcase before it fell over.

He wandered over to an open topped car.. It looked robust but still quite 'fancy' as Ade would say.
He held onto the top of the windscreen and jumped over the doors into the driving seat.
It was a light blue with reasonably large wheels and cream seats.
It had practical boot space and three seats in the back that they could put the rest of the luggage in.

"Ade.." Toby called her over, flicking a few switches and checking the car's dashboard out.
"Oh my gosh." Adelaide said, giggling and coming over to the car Toby had supposedly fell in love with.
"This one?"

They only needed a temporary car to rent out for the week they were away, it needed to be practical but pretty. The car Toby had jumped into was... A strange find.
Toby looked up at Adelaide with an excited expression, almost like a child begging their mum to buy them a new toy.
Adelaide put her hands on her hips and then judgementally stared at the car..
It was a strange sort of abstract, forced mix of an elegant car and a robust, practical one.
The wheels, for example, were robust but the actual interior was elegant and fancy.
"Pleasseeee!" Toby pleaded, looking up at Adelaide and putting his most innocent expression on, a begging ,puppy eyed face.
"Toby.." Adelaide said slowly, looking at the stereo player inside the car.
"Yes?" Toby looked up at her hopefully as he saw a thoughtful expression pass her face.
"Move along!" She said, a wide smile spreading on her face and jumping in next to Toby, again not bothering to use the door.
"YESSS! I LOVE YOU!" Toby cried excitedly, shuffling over to the next seat and feeling Adelaide slide in next to him.

"Excuse me.. Sir, madam, could I help you?" A car salesman came over to them both, a concerned look on his face. He eyed the car and then looked back at the young pair who seemed to be messing around.
"Yes you could." Toby replied matter of factly, digging around for his wallet.
"These cars are for display only.. Unless .. you're buying?" The rather serious man pressed on, annoyingly.
Toby continued to feel around in his back pockets and Adelaide sniggered next to him.
"Well I would If I could find my wallet.." Toby said, slightly sitting up to see if it were on his seat and then he stopped, observing Adelaide's cheeky expression.
"What?" Toby asked, sensing she knew something as she began to laugh.
"Oh my gosh you've got it!" Toby figured out, immediately reaching over and feeling about her to find his wallet.
"Not there!" She squealed as he ventured under her bum to see if she were sitting on it.
"Because that's where you've put it you little devil." Toby laughed, feeling around her pockets until she lifted her other hand, holding the prised possession.
"Damn you Ade." Toby exclaimed, finally retrieving his wallet and handing it over to the car salesman to deal with.
Adelaide couldn't stop laughing.
"Your face though. 'Wheres my wallet?'" She mocked, putting on a stupid voice and making equally stupid faces as Toby pretended to slap her face.

"The Range Rover Evoque Convertible, DEW211 duck egg blue has takers." The salesman spoke into his walkey talkey and walked off with Toby's wallet to a desk.
"Though god knows who were selling it to.." The man muttered to himself, glancing back at Adelaide and Toby play fighting in the car.

"Ade, what do you think this does?" Toby asked grinning to her, hovering his finger over the volume button near the radio.
Adelaide looked over and smirked back, pressing the button for him and turning the music up to the loudest possible amp... Which was loud..
They had drove out the city hours ago and they were currently in the middle of absolutely no where. The only remote sign of civilisation was a few tiny dotted lights here and there, where major cities were.
They mimicked the clear night sky, house lights shining like stars and moving traffic like zooming comets.
It was pitch black now and they could barely see the road ahead of them. Their ultimate plan was to just drive to some mountains ,camp at the foot of them and climb on the next day. To go exploring through woods and play in rivers!

"Toby.." Adelaide said from her reclined seat as she watched the stars above her barely move at all yet see the dark silhouettes of trees and bushes pass by her side in a blur.
"Yeah?" Toby asked, driving on and squinting at the road in front of them; he still hadn't figured out the head light settings for if he had he would know there was a longer range beam so he wouldn't have to just predict whether he were going to drive off the edge of a cliff or not.
"How are we going To set up this huge tent.. In the middle of nowhere... In the middle of the night?" Adelaide popped her question and lay there in silence waiting for a reply from Toby.
The music played on loudly around them from the speakers and the air hit them in the face as they drove on through the night.
"ERM.." Toby started... Having only realised this problem as Adelaide told him.
"I can't be bothered with tying ropes and all that to be honest." Toby confessed, leaning back in his chair and taking a random turn at a fork in their country lane.
Adelaide curled up in her chair and came closer to Toby so just the head stick and cup holders were between them.

Back in the city, it was all so cloudy and smoggy, so busy and rushed.
She'd never been able to take the time and watch the stars.. Even if she had, they would have been blanketed by opaque clouds.
The vastness of the universe awed her, looking at all the beautiful stars above her slowly pass by above their heads.

Toby took a moment to glance away from the road and at Adelaide..
She watched the stars and he watched her.
The stars reflecting in her dark eyes, the look of excitement and amazement painted like a picture on her face.
This was the first time they were both actually not singing awfully along with the music, and the first time Adelaide had stopped talking.

He drove through a gap in a nearby hedge in the direction of a large silhouetted blob in the distance.
"I think it's a dinosaur." Adelaide said, playing with the buttons that reclined and moved her car seat around.
"It's a mountain." Toby confirmed as they got closer and he could make out the jagged rock edge and some form of tree line.
"Looks can be deceiving, I'm not convinced. Caitlin would agree with me. It's a dinosaur." Adelaide always spoke in this silly way when she were tired or messing around, Toby loved it, it was so cute.
"Well do you want to sleep at the foot of the dinosaur?" Toby asked, driving towards it whether she liked it or not.
"Yeah that's cool. We can call him Fred." Adelaide answered, finishing her coffee which had grown cold an hour ago when they were on an actual road rather than a dirt track.

Because everything was dark, the only thing visible in detail was the sky, and as beautiful as that was, it wasn't extremely helpful when one is navigating one's self through a muddy field with no set path or route.
The sat nav had repeatedly said "recalculating" so much so that they'd thrown it in the back with their luggage after only 15 minutes of the drive.
Adelaide had said that getting lost was the fun in adventure anyway.

As midnight struck, the Range Rover drove up as near to the mountain as one might dare, and parked itself casually under a tree.
Toby jumped out and threw some of the camping equipment out of the back seats and onto the floor beside the car.
Adelaide awoke to the sound of clattering and thudding from behind her as Toby removed all the luggage.
He opened the tent bags and squinted at the instructions as if he would magically be able to see in this blanket of darkness.

Adelaide groaned, turned over in the seat and then jumped out of the car and came over beside him.
She rummaged around the bags until she found her 'nighttime' bag, from which she got a sleeping bag out and set it in the open back seats of the car.
"What are you doing?" Toby asked, throwing the instructions on top of the bags at his feet and leaning over the edge of the car to see Adelaide opening the sleeping bag.
"I am not," Adelaide declared, adjusting a pillow she'd got from Toby's bag at the head of the sleeping bag.
"Repeat not, putting up a tent at this time. I am tired and there's a perfectly comfortable bed right here."
Toby raised his eyebrow at Adelaide but when he saw she was being serious and climbing into the sleeping bag, he reconsidered the tent building himself.
"Ade.." Toby said awkwardly.. Standing on the outside of the car amongst the bags.
"Yeah?" She replied quietly, already drifting off.
"Never mind." Toby leaned his back against the car and shoved the bags up close against the wheels so they weren't too out in the open.

Adelaide only woke up once that night, and that was when a gentle shuffling happened beside her..
A certain somebody had given up on making a bed and they'd decided to get in her double sleeping bag in the back seat.
His arms crept around her waist and she couldn't be bothered to question this so she simply snuggled up to him and fell asleep.
Under the stars.
In the middle of no where.
