Hopkins placed his hands on his waist. The humid walls and her green eyes shone, mocking him.

"We're not lost." He scratched his head, looking for an alternative. The map made it look so simple. Left, ladder, left, right, left, jewelry, glory. He stared at the broken ladder above them. No jewelry. No glory. "I'd say we just came across a... situation."
"Let me take care of this," she said and rolled her eyes, opening her backpack. "As usual." Ropes and hooks came out of it. He smiled, which earned him two pats on the face. "You'd be lost without me, handsome. Now, let's get this over with."
