Torrance POV
~two weeks later~
I hold my stomach as my dinner comes up. I don't know if I'm just sick or if it's a bug. It started two days ago.
I had walked into the kitchen to see steak being cut raw. I immediately ran out when I smelled eggs and found a bathroom.
Dorothy holds my hair, rubbing my back. Gray still hasn't talked to me and I can't figure out what I did. He allowed me still stay in his room. He thinks I'm asleep when I hear him come in to get clothes. He always leaves a kiss on my forehead, so light I almost never feel it.
At least I can get my cast off tomorrow. Stupid things been on for six weeks.
Taking a deep breath, I lean away from the toilet. I can't move. I'm exhausted. It seems I've been eating more but certain things make me sick. And I get sick at any given time of the day.
I can't put my finger on it but something's different.
I'm knocked out of my thoughts with my body jolting towards the toilet. More bile slithers up my throat and out of my mouth.
"Oh, honey." Dorothy murmurs.
Tears stream down my cheeks. I hate this.
"What's going on?" A deep familiar voice asks.
I tense but continue purging. "What does it-"
My words are cut off with a new round of vomit coming up.
(Sorry guys, I'm making myself sick)
Ripping off a square of toilet paper, I wipe my mouth. Laying down, I put my head in Dorothy's lap, letting the tears continue to fall.
"You need to go see Conner." Dorothy says softly, combing through my hair.
"I'm fine. It's just food poisoning." She sighs.
"Gray, come here." I tense as he follows her orders.
She whispers something in his ear. He nods with a solemn look on his face. I roll away from her and stand carefully.
Grabbing my toothbrush, I put a strip or toothpaste and bring it up to my mouth after rinsing it. Pulling my hair back, I finish brushing my teeth and splash my face. As I turn, something catches my eye. The unopened box of tampons on the shelf behind me.
I feel myself pale. My period was due a week ago. My breathing becomes heavier, my chest rising and falling erratically. I can hear as well as feel Dorothy and Gray asking question and trying to get me to calm down but all I can see is that damn box of unopened blood sticks.
And then it's black.
