"Why the fuck are you smiling like that?" Melanie asks me as we enter music class and take a seat.
"What do you mean Melanie... Am I not allowed to smile."
"Tatianna it's Monday morning." Melanie states, "You don't smile on Monday mornings, it's a fact."
I roll my eyes and look at her,"Well I'm trying something new and it's called smiling." I tell her.
"No you're trying something new called Caleb Anderson." She says with a sly smirk, "You my friend are sprung."
"I am not sprung Melanie I am just happy."
"Yeah happy because you get to see you boo." She says with a really ghetto voice.
"He is not my boo just someone that I ent on an amazing date with." I say with a smile on my face.
"You want him to be your boo, don't deny it."
"I never denied it did I?" I tell her with a smirk and with that the bell rings.
At the same time it rings Caleb comes and sits down next to me.
"Hey you what's going on?" He asks me.
"Oh nothing really just talking." I say with a smile.
"Really about what."
"Nothing..." I say at the same time Melanie starts singing my boo.
"My oh my oh my oh my ohhh My boooo!" She sings smirking at me.
I give her a look telling her to shut up and she does.
Class was pretty much a free class seing as the teachers were grading us on our performancesfrom Friday so most of us were just talking.
Caleb and I are talking when Sarah or whatever he names was comes to talk to Caleb and gives me the dirtiest look imaginable.
"Excuse me Talia but Caleb and I have to talk." She says and I look at her and then back at Melanie looking at her to see if she heard that. She is giving me the same look.
"Umm my name is Tatianna for starters and we were in conversation so yeah." I say rather calmly.
"Yeah Sarah I'll talk to you later." Caleb says and she just walks away.
I really don't like her...
Anyhow during the rest of the class we were like cracking jokes and talking and occasionally I would either catch either a dirty look from a random person, Melanie singing a romantic song for me to her and Caleb just staring at me... I liked that last one.
The rest of the day went by fine lunch was nice we talked as usual and Caleb being Caleb walked me to all my classes holding my books for me... I could so get used to this.
But not everything can be good for so long and English class proved it for real.
I get in the class with Melanie and both of us can tell that something is doing to happen. There was a substitute teacher and that meant that shit was more likely to go down today...
Caleb was talking to his friends when Deon and his crew came to talk to Melanie and I.
"So Tatianna you and white boy what's going on?"
"Deon what's going on between Caleb and I is none of your business." I say.
"Oh so there is something going on?"
"And if there is?" I question.
"So you're telling me that you'd rather be with a white guy than me?" He says and I shake my head.
"No I never said that... I would just rather be with Caleb than you you know like he isin't late when he asks me out." I say staring him down.
"Oh okay I see how it is Tatianna."
"I'm glad you do." I say smirking and then watch as Deon walks away.
In the back of my mind I know that this is going to be one hell of a week.
Anyways back to class Melanie are doing what we do best. Talking about fine men.
I am in the middle of describing Tyrese Gibson when Melanie's eyes widen and the girl starts shaking her head.
"Like damn Tyrese id just fine, top to bottom his body is sheer sexiness like the one word I have is DAMN. And when he is shirtless Melanie you have to admit the guy defines sexiness with his broad shoulders and his abs... Oh my goodness his abs are like."
"What about his abs Tatianna?" I hear Caleb's sultry voice say from behind me and my breath catches... Shit... I look at Melanie and she's just like, "I tried to warn you."
I turn to look at Caleb and try to put on my most innocent smile ever, "Well Tatianna about thoseabs?" He asks.
"Well I heard girls go crazy when they see his abs that's all." I say as if it's nothin.
He cocks and eyebrow and then looks at Melanie.
"Do you know who's hot Melanie," He begins, "Megan Fox... The body onn that girl is just WOW like damn with her long hair and that body is just amazing like her legs and-"
"What else Caleb? What other body part about Megan Fox is so hot?" I ask him staring him in the eyes while Melanie just looks uncomfortable.
"Why are you jealous?" He asks with a sly smirk.
"You know I am."
"So now you know how I feel when my girlfriend is talking about how hot some guy is..." He says.
"Wait girlfriend when did that happen?" I ask and Melanie takes that as her cue to walk away.
Caleb leans down on my level with a smile crouching so he is looking at me with a smile.
"Ever since I kissed you the other night."
I grin and again I am thankful I can't blush, "Oh really now well why wasn't I aware of that."
"Well now you are."
"Wait so I get no say in this?"
Caleb sighs and looks me seriously in the eyes, "Alright then, Tatianna will you-"
Caleb is interrupted by to of the most annoying voices ever.
That Sarah chick and Emilie, "Caleb what is going on?"
"Well we were talking before you interrupted... For the second time today..." I say.
"Yeah so is that a problem?"
"Um yeah since again Caleb was talking to me about something important."
"Whatever he's talking to you about must not be important." She says with attitude in her voice and the I snap.
By now the whole class is quiet wanting to see what's going to happen.
I stand up and Caleb does the same and I just look at her.
"Whatever we are talking about is none of your business..." I snap back looking at her.
She scoffs, "Excuse me but it is... Why don't you go back and hang out with your friends." She says pointing to the black kids who are looking back at me.
I smirk, "Oh so you want to make it your business then." I say.
Now there are times when I can handle myself in a public dispute but this is not one of them. There is only so much I can take. Deon and them took a bit of my tolerance but now this bitch is going overboard... Caleb was going to ask me to be his girlfriend and here is this bitch interrupting me.
Hell no.
So I flash her a fake smile and then look up at Caleb telling him to play along with me. He seriously does not know how I am when irritated. So I look Caleb in the eyes and grab him by the shirt pulling him towards me so now our faces our inches apart and then I kiss him.
For the whole class to see and I can hear their gasps.
Like before Caleb's lips on mine was the best feeling of life. I could do this forever but just not now. Right now I have a point to prove.
So I slowly break the kiss with a smile and look up at Caleb who is smiling as well and look back at the two girls.
"So how about you make that your business to then." I say looking at her and then smile some more, "Oh and by the way what my boyfriend and I talk about is none of your business... Just for future reference." I say, "And by the way my name is Tatianna not Talia.. Get it right." I add and withthat the bell rings and I walk out of the class leaving them there and pull Caleb along with me.
And that is how I end shit.
I started this Monday with a smile on my face and I ended it with a smile...
Who the hell cares about the idiots who almost ruined my day.
Shorter than usual but I'm just like filling the story for the next chapters :)
