far past the concrete jungle
and tar rivers.
Take me away
from the noise of the silence
and crowds of people
always moving.
Take me somewhere green
(like everything used to be) -
to a place where I can dance
in the rain
(while having somewhere to dance,)
and sing
my lungs out
(and not be drowned out by silence.)
Take me past this jungle of noise,
this city of silence,
to learn what life is like out there -
what it's like to be a bird
free from a cramped cage
and into a world
so spacious.
