A/N: *laughs evilly*
After a day, Mitch was released from the hospital as a happier person. Hearing the words 'I love you' made him finally get all the happiness he deserved. Scott never seen him happier before and he couldn't help but be happy himself. Mitch deserved everything good in this world.

"Scott loves me, he loves me not," Mitch whispered as he pulled at flower petals. The Pack decided to go to the park today to cleanse their minds and just to enjoy the beauty the day has to offer.
"Why is he so happy?" Alyssa asked, smiling when Mitch kissed a flower happily. He then got up and went to another flower, hugging it tightly. "Did you give him happy pills, Scotty?"
"Maybe," Scott replied, winking. He laughed as he sat back. "I told him I loved him."
"MY-"
"YES, AVI! WE KNOW YOUR SHIP HAS BEEN SAILED! IT HAS BEEN SAILED EVER SINCE THEY MET EACH OTHER!"
"There's no need to shout."
"Are you seri-? Never mind."
Avi smiled happily as he saw Scott get up and run to Mitch. The Alpha picked up the Omega, causing them to laugh loudly. They fell to the ground, breathing heavily. They laughed once more, sharing a sweet kiss. Avi sighed, thinking about Tori.
He can't wait to be like that with her.

Mitch smiled as Scott hugged him tightly. His foot still hurt a bit, but he managed. He had to use crutches, but all he cares about was being with Scott. The sweet Alpha told him that he loved with every chance he had and Mitch never got tired of it.
Someone finally loves me.
And never again did Mitch doubt the fact that someone loved him.

Scott walked into the living room, an eerie feeling growing in his chest. He shrugged his shoulders and smiled when he saw Avi in the kitchen.
"Whatcha doing, Avi?" Scott asked, smirking when Avi jumped. "Don't break anything."
"Ha ha," Avi replied, shaking his head. He then flipped a pancake and smiled. "Today's Thursday."
Scott widened his eyes playfully and nodded his head, causing Avi to roll his eyes.
"Congrats! You know the days of the week! We will be learning how to count next week," Scott spoke in the stereotypical teacher voice. "I'm just kidding, Av. Why are you so excited?"
"Tori and I are going on a date tonight," Avi answered happily, getting the apple juice out. He set it down and got the peanut butter from the cabinet. He rolled his eyes when Scott took it from him and began to eat from the jar. "That isn't just for you, Scott."
"Don't tell me what to do," Scott demanded playfully, eating from the jar. Mitch then out of the room and hugged Scott from behind. "Hi, beautiful. I love you."
"I love you, too," Mitch replied, smiling softly. He looked at Avi, smiling at how busy he looked. "You look busy, Alpha Avi. Are you happy?"
"More than happy," Avi answered, sighing lovingly. "I'm content."
"Content?" Mitch asked, tilting his head. "I thought content was something that is included with something else. Are you apart of something besides the Pack, Alpha Avi?"
"Content means a state of peaceful happiness," Kevin shared, smiling at Mitch's adorableness. The Omega still raised an eyebrow, still confused.
"Then why don't you just use 'I'm peacefully happy'?" Mitch asked loudly. Scott laughed quietly, turning around to hug his Mate. "It makes sense!"
"It's the English language, Mitch," Avi responded, shaking his head. "It never makes sense."

Nighttime came quickly and Tori came over, happy to see the Pack. Avi allowed her to come in and the Pack was more than happy to see her.
"You were my nurse," Mitch told her shyly. Tori laughed as she nodded. "You are very nice."
"Thank you!"
After conversing with the couple, Avi and Tori left. That only left Scott, Mitch, Kevin, and Alyssa. They played a few games and watched a movie, enjoying tonight, expecting nothing bad to happen.
If only they knew.

Scott kissed Mitch goodnight, smiling when the Omega smiled in his sleep. He then went into the living room, wondering where Kevin and Alyssa could be. He guessed that they were asleep and wrote a quick letter, explaining that he had to go to the grocery store for some things. Kevin, Mitch, or Alyssa could wake up and wonder where the Alpha could be.
Scott didn't have the heart to wake up Mitch so he locked the door and secured the windows so that no one could get in to get the Omega. He then left the house, trying to fight off the strange feeling growing in his chest.
Mitch will be okay. The door is locked and everything. He'll be fine.
If only he knew the truth.

Kevin and Alyssa realized that they had to leave for a Beta test that was in a location a couple hours away, forcing them to leave. They also had to stay a couple of days because the test was determined to take at least a day and a half.
"Scott and Mitch will be okay, right?" Alyssa asked as she brought her bag with her. Kevin nodded as carried his own bags. "Something feels wrong. I kind of want to stay here."
"Everything's okay, Lyssa," Kevin reassured, trying to ignore the cold air that came into the house. He noticed that a window was open. He went to close it but stopped himself. The house is warm anyways. "If they need anything, they'll give us a call."
"Okay," Alyssa agreed, still hesitant to leave. She noticed an envelope and tilted her head. "Kev, there's an envelope here."
Kevin modded and turned it over, noticing that it is addressed to Scott. The male Beta shrugged his shoulders, realizing that Scott could be asleep.
"I'll leave it out for him tomorrow," Kevin finalized, setting it down. Alyssa nodded, feeling a bit better. "It's time to go. Scott and Mitch are asleep. I already left a letter saying that we left."
The couple then left as quietly as they can, reassuring themselves that everything is going along normally as it usually does. Everything is okay.
If only they knew the truth.

It was Avi and Tori that realized the truth.
Tori wondered how the place got so messy. Avi shook his head, expecting the house to be clean. He noticed that the mail is here and he went up to two envelopes, noticing they are addressed to Scott and Kevin.
"I'm sorry for it being messy, Tori," Avi apologized. Tori shrugged her shoulders and hugged Avi from behind. "Scott and Kevin got a letter from the same place. I wonder what it could be about."
Tori observed the envelopes, reading them over. She noticed multiple mistakes and saw that the sender's address was bolded multiple times.
"Avi, these envelopes are incorrect," Tori admitted, shaking her head. "Let me open them."
Avi nodded and handed them to Tori. The female Beta opened them and read them over, realizing that they are the letters Scott and Kevin wrote before they left.
"Avi?" Tori asked, shaking a bit. Avi nodded as he walked up to his future Mate, looking over her shoulder. "Scott and Kevin wrote these."
"What does that mean?" Avi asked, not quite understanding what Tori is trying to say.
"It means that they thought the other person left," Tori revealed, looking towards Scott and Mitch's room. The door knob looks broken. "That means..."
"None of them are here," Avi finished. He then widened his eyes and ran to Scott and Mitch's room. "The doorknob is broken!"
Tori widened her eyes and went to the open window in the living room. She stepped on glass and opened the curtains to see that the window has been broken. She began to shake her head, praying that the worse did not happen. Avi's scream answered her fears. She ran to the room Avi is in and her heart broke when saw him crying. He looked around the room, shaking his head as tears ran down his cheeks. He then looked a Tori, revealing the ugly truth:
"Mitch is gone."
