(WARNING: a little bit of abuse at the end)
Mitch blinked his eyes once, confused. Why did that name sound familiar? How close is his supposed Mate? Is his Mate nice? Will they love him? Will they tell him the words 'I love you'?
Will they abandon him?
"Do you want to see your Mate now?" The Council member asked, smiling at the confused Omega. He nodded as she led him towards the exit. "He's all yours."
"Who?" Mitch asked, confusion evident. Scott stood up and stood behind the small Omega. "Where is he?"
"Right behind you," the Council member confirmed, motioning towards Scott. Mitch turned around quickly to see Scott behind him and widened his eyes. Scott's jaw dropped open. "You are each other's Mates. See you later."
Ben then came out of the room, hopping happily and smiled at Scott and Mitch, who looked shocked and quite confused.
"Who's your Mate?" Ben asked happily. Mitch smiled at the younger Omega and pointed at Scott. "I knew it! I ship it, the ship has been sailed. Oh, bye y'all. My mom's here so I get my stuff ready to see my Alpha. Until then, this has been a kid's point of view!"
Ben then walked off happily, causing Mitch to stare at his back. He smirked at how adorable the Omega was and then looked back at Scott, who was still frozen in place.
"Looks like I'm your Mate," Mitch started off, smiling at Scott. The Alpha nodded as he took Mitch's hand, leading him outside. "Are you exci-?"
"Mitch, stay quiet," Scott scolded, gripping the small hand tighter. Mitch instantly shut up. "I need time to think."
Mitch nodded sadly at the Alpha's commands. He held onto the strong grip Scott had and opened the door by himself when Scott unlocked it. As he did this, he heard someone talking to him.
You thought that I would disappear? Ha, good luck with that. I will never leave. And one more thing, Scott will never love you. Why do you think he interrupted you? He's going to leave you just like your family. Admit it; no one likes you because you are different.
Mitch mentally whimpered as he tried to keep his tears in bay. Meanie the Voice is right...nobody will ever love him, all because of him being an Omega. He looked outside of the window, his heart breaking once more.
Nobody will ever love me.
Great minds think alike. Good thing you agree with me.

Kirstin opened the door when Scott and Mitch came back. She smiled at them but then frowned when she noticed their expressions. Scott looked afraid and Mitch looked like he watched Marley and Me. She looked at them over a couple more times and cleared her throat, catching their attention.
"Mitch, how about you go to Scott's room and color some more pictures? The walls are getting boring," Kirstin suggested, smiling when Mitch nodded his head. He went to the Omega Cabinet and took out coloring books and crayons and went to Scott's room. After he did that, Kirstin looked back at Scott. "We need to talk. Avi and Kevin will be back any minute."
Scott was about to protest when the door opened. Avi and Kevin walked in and smiled at the Lead Alpha. Their smiles then disappeared when they noticed his expression.
"What's up?" Avi asked, sitting down on one of the couches. Scott shook his head as he sat down in a recliner, refusing to look at his Pack members. "You need to tell us, Scott."
"I took Mitch to see who his Mate is," Scott finalized, still not looking his Pack. They all shared looks of joy. "He is with him now."
"That's not bad," Kevin rebutted, smiling at the fact Mitch finally as a Mate! "Is he leaving the Pack or is he staying?"
"He's staying," Scott replied, shaking his head. He can't do this. "Guys, I'm his Mate."
"What's so bad about that?" Kirstin asked, not seeing what was bad about this whole situation. "It's like fate put you two together."
"It's not that I don't want him to be my Mate," Scott admitted finally, staring down at his lap. He finally looked up, his eyes full of sadness. "I don't want to lose him like I lost Alex."
His Pack shared a sad look, remembering Scott's old Omega. Alex was confident for an Omega, but he was so sweet and kind. The Pack loved him very much and wanted Scott and him to get married; however, the day they were about to get married was the worst day of Scott's life.
FLASHBACK
Scott smiled when he saw Alex adjusting his bow tie while sticking out his tongue cutely. The Alpha then walked up to his Omega and fixed it for him, laughing whew Alex let out a exasperated sigh.
"How come you can do that and I can't?" Alex asked angrily as Scott shrugged his shoulders. "It's not fair. I still love you though, my Scarecrow."
"And I love you, my Dorothy," Scott laughed, putting his hands on Alex's face. He then stared into the hazel eyes his Omega owned. He was right about to kiss him when the door was slammed open, making them both jump. It was somebody from the Council. He looked at the couple and took a deep breath.
"Which one of you are Alexander Kirk?" He asked immediately. Alex rose his hand and the Council member nodded. "We found your forms and realized that we made a mistake. You are not Scott's Mate."
Alex couldn't understand what the Council member meant, but Scott shook his head. Not before they got married!
"I'm sorry, Alexander," the Council member spoke up, getting Alex's hand. The Omega stared back at Scott, his heart breaking. "You have to be with someone else. We made a mistake."
"Why do I have to leave? Did I do something wrong? Scott, please don't let them take me. Scott," Alex yelled as he tried to get out of the Council member's grip. It was too late. Alex was taken away, leaving Scott to grieve.
"Alex," Scott murmured, shaking his head. He sobbed quietly, sitting down in the ground. He took out the ring from his pocket and stared at it sadly. "I do, baby."

Avi sighed as he noticed how in depth the Lead Alpha was in his grieving. He the cleared his throat, bringing up his own point.
"I understand that. I really, really do," he began. Scott sighed as he adjusted himself on the recliner. "Alex would want you to be with Mitch, okay? He loved you and would have done everything for you. You need to love someone else. Mitch is your missing puzzle piece. He's the harmony to your melody. He's your Ariel to your Erik."
"He's right," Kevin backed up, setting out his own points. "Yes, Alex and Mitch are two completely different people, but they have one thing in common; they are your Omegas. They will do everything to love you. Love Mitch just as much as you loved Alex. He deserves to be loved."
"Mitch will bring back that happiness an positivity you had with Alex," Kirstin finished off. Scott was slowly becoming angry at the points his members had to offer. They are so illogical. "You are going to be an amazing Alpha. You have to love to him. Mitchy, come out!"
Scott was about to release his anger but stopped when Mitch came out of the room. For some reason, that angered him to no end and only made his anger increase.
"I'm done coloring," Mitch proclaimed, smiling at the Pack, holding a coloring book. He set it down, not noticing the tense atmosphere. "What were you gu-?"
"Why are you out of the room?" Scott asked quietly, his anger building up. Everyone began to tense, getting scared at Scott's sudden anger. "I didn't say you could go out of the room."
"I'm sorry," Mitch replied quietly. "I thought since Kirstin told me to do it, I had to lis-."
"She's not your Alpha though," Scott hissed, standing up. He then looked down the Omega who was beginning to shake. "You listen to me. Speak up!"
"I'm sorry," Mitch responded even quieter. He tried to project his voice but failed. "I'll remember for next ti-."
"I said to speak up," Scott yelled angrily, all his anger pouring out. He brought his hand back and slammed it down on Mitch's cheek. When he realized what he had done, his anger disappeared.
I just slapped Mitch.
