Rory’s Pov
I pulled away from matt’s lips smiling, there wasn’t the spark I felt when I kissed syn, but I kissed him anyways trying to feel a bit better inside. I stood up quickly looking into syns eyes, trying to hold my rage back. Matt must have notice my fist balling up cause he grabbed my hand, so I wouldn’t slug syn right in the face.
“explain? There’s nothing to explain, when the problem is right in your face” I yelled at him not caring if I hurt his feelings .
“but Rory we aren’t together anymore” he pushed Michelle away from his body stepping closer to me.
“yeah….. But for how long syn. Matt was right , I shouldn’t have ever trusted you” I looked down at the ground kicking the gravel before turning around and walking off.
“but…..” I felt his hand wrap around my wrist pulling me back. doesn’t he take a hint…… I don’t want to be with him right now.
“but what…..” I ripped my hand from his grip. “why don’t you just go back to your girlfriend syn…. And just leave me alone” I turned around and just started walking, hoping that he would fucking get the hint and not follow me.
My heart already blew up into a million pieces tonight, and my chest was aching so much that when I got to my car I leaned against it trying my best to breath. Come on Rory, pull it together……. Please just pull it together. I couldn’t and starting balling my eyes out, punching the ground with my fist.
“hey, hey, hey there’s no need for that” I looked up, even with my vision blurry from my tears I could see it was matt. God, like I needed him to see me like this again. I quickly wiped my tears away trying to toughen up.
“why are you here…..” I asked looking into his eyes, all he did was give his cute smile that showed off his dimples.
“cause you are” he laughed sitting down next to me. “Rory, you really love him don’t you?” yes what the fuck do you think, I don’t go around punching the ground for no reason. That’s what I really wanted to say to him but I didn’t.
“yes”
“I’m sorry this happened Rory but I think I can help” I looked at him with a weird glare. What the fuck is he talking about???
“help…. How??” he looked down at the ground, I could tell he was trying to put what he wanted to say in words.
“um….well I called Michelle” my jaw hit the ground , and I just stared at him. HE WHAT?!?!?!?! “ I called her Rory, so that I could have a chance with you…..”
“so I just walked out on syn….. Even though he didn’t do anything” I slammed my head against the car door. Just my fucking luck…….
“I’m sorry Rory…. But when you got all flustered and upset over syn, I realized that you really do love him. Not to mention, but when you kissed me this time, it was like kissing my sister” he laughed
“oh thank god!!” I yelled and jumped off the ground
“your not …..mad” matt looked up into my eyes
“yes I am…. But I know now that I have absolutely no feelings for you, in that way” I sighed and helped him up. “now you have to go explain to syn”
Matt’s POV
I felt like I was doing a walk of shame as I walked back to the bus. I wonder if this is how the girls that we slept with felt as the walked away. I opened the door walking inside, Michelle was gone, but the guys were all around syn, who had his head in his hands. Was he crying….. God I’m such a asshole.
“syn…. I have to tell you something” slowly walking to him. Fuck, I’m going to get punched when I tell him.
“what??” he looked up, his voice harsh and full of hurt
“I called Michelle” I closed my eyes waiting for it… but nothing happened. I peeked out and all the guys were staring at me with their jaws wide open.
“YOU WHAT?!?!?” syn jumped up trying to attack me, thankfully zacky grabbed him back “now she thinks I’m a cheater asshole!!!!”
“actually… matt told me everything.”
Syn’s POV
I stopped moving in zackys arms when I heard her voice, she was standing there looking at the ground.
“Oh goody!!! This is so much like a soap opera. All I’m missing is my popcorn” jimmy laughed but I watch Sydney elbow him in the ribs
“I’m sor….sorry syn” I looked into her eyes, smiling. I laughed to myself because the thought of Rory apologizing was funny.
‘hey Rory, you don’t have to be sorry, this douche bag has to be’” I pointed to matt, kicking his shin with my boot. I gently grabbed her hand leading us back to our bunks.
“syn…. I over reacted” I watched her eyes get watery, my body cringing seeing it
“Rory, I know this is a huge change for you. I mean going on tour with us, the fan girls, matt. I want you to go home” I saw her smile crack when I told her that.
“ok syn….. Ill go”
“no, no Rory. I want you to go home, but when we are finishing touring in two months, I want you to come out and live with me. There will be no fan girls, no distraction, other then jimmy but I’m sure you can handle that cant you?” gently I pulled her chin so she was looking at me. “just stay clear of your mother till then”
“ok syn I will” she smiled her perfectly smile, that sent shivers threw my body. That’s when I felt her push me down, her lips crashing with mine. God this girl is fucking amazing!!!
*a little over two months later*
I was pacing back and forth in front of the door. Zacky, Johnny, and jimmy were all on the couch eating popcorn watching me.
“would you stop staring its creeping me out” I yelled at them
“Ok ! No problem” jimmy yelled back turning off the lights in the living room so I couldn’t see them.
“why did I let you guys even come” I said under my breath
“you didn’t we invited ourselves” I heard zacky yell from the darkened room.
“dude ignore them” matt laughed standing behind me. “I know you can do this”
That’s when the door bell rang, my heart was racing so fast. I slowly opened the door, that’s when I was trampled over by Sydney.
“JIMMY????” she yelled running into the darkened room “hey who ever is touching my ass, I know its not jimmy, he has delicate hands. So STOP!!” I heard Johnny laughing , but the whole situation had me smiling.
“hi” I turned around seeing Rory standing there, she cut her hair and dyed it black. I smiled getting excited, she looked even hotter that way
“good luck man” matt slapped my back and ran into the dark living room. “move over people I need a front row seat to this”
“hey… Rory” fuck syn stop acting like a retard and just talk to her, do something that’s not retarded!!. I yelled at myself and I finally smiled at her, pulling her to me hugging her.
“I missed you guys” her laughed filled the room as she looked into the darkened room
“missed you more!1!” I heard all the guys yell out. I slowly pulled away from our hug smiling at her.
“Rory” I looked into her eyes grabbing hold of her hands, smiling big. Come on Synyster you can do it!!!!!!!
“yes?’ I saw her eyes darting around the room nervously. I smiled bigger and I slowly got down on one knee looking at the ground
“we don’t have all day!!!!” jimmy yelled, then I heard him scream when Sydney slapped him
“syn?” I could tell she was nervous, cause her hands were shaking, they always used to do that when we were on stage as kids. I gave her my best smile, then breathed in deep
