Mizuki was dressing into her ninja clothes and clipped the choker around her neck with a smile. Yuki walked in. "Nee-chan. Are you going to train?" The question was so simple yet..... "No not this time. Everyone who is strong enough is leaving to um, fight a enemy."
"Ooh! That's so cool. Who is it?"

"There has been a huge dragon burning the forest somewhere far away! He stomps and thrashes about like this!" She started moving like the creature in the movie Godzilla before tackling the fifteen year old to the ground. "He can devour his prey all in one bite but first....." Yuki giggled and her eyes were wide with interest. "Since he's a dragon, he must cook his food." She finished with a matter-of-fact tone.
Mizuki started tickling her sides and they both laughed. When she stopped, her face became serious and so did the younger girl's. "You won't get eaten will you?"
"No way. As long as I have this pendent, you will be with me. I will return to you unharmed." She saw a head of white hair outside the door and hugged her sister tightly. "Just take the music box and key, play our song and you won't be alone." The innocent teal eyes were tearing up as she nodded.
After closing the door to the room she gave Tobirama a nervous smile. "Are you sure I'm ready for war?"
He nodded and started leading her to the gathering spot. Passing Suzu she stopped. "Hey. Look after my sister okay?"
The little senju nodded her head quickly before hurrying off with laundry in her hand.
He noticed how she fidgeted with her bangs, hiding the scar like she used to. "How is Madara and Izuna when they fight. I have an idea of Izuna's strength after rescuing Yuki but....That wasn't an actual battle."
"I won't lie; those two are strongly devoted to their clan, if not more to each other. Both are ruthless in a fight. Me and Hashirama usually go up against them while the others take care of the rest."
"What decides the end?"
"A retreat or surrender. There has only been retreats though. The Uchiha clan is far too prideful to surrender to us."
"If someone was to befriend an Uchiha without knowing, what would happen?"
Her question caught him off guard. He turned to look at her only to see that her visible eye was glazed over in thoughts. "We would suspect that person as a spy among us but...Why ask?"
Mizuki sighed. "No reason really."

The battle itself began soon after. She had already formed a series of barracades for the Senju's to duck behind for cover. Hashirama surrounded her crystal pillar to make the cherry blossom tree like before. She had her hands held out to the sides while standing perfectly still. The dark haired clan ran out, eyes red from the sharingan.
Tobirama watched as the woman opened her blind crystalized eye. A faint smile crossed her lips. She thrusts her hands forward, the thousands of petal shaped shards swirled around her. She began running across the field, the many tiny blades cutting the skin of any enemy who came close, stalling them for just thr right amount of time before a Senju's blade impaled them.
He couldn't help but marvel at her abilities once they were put to use. In training she always had top hold back on him. But then the petals shattered, unable to withstand any more pressure. Izuna collided swords with him before he could continue observing.
Mizuki created the crystal arm blade and shield. The Uchiha that attacked her next was none other than Akira. "Can't say I'm happy about encountering you here." The young lad stated. She smiled gently. The expression confused him.
"Neither am I. I've been wanting to ask you a question though." She came down on his sword roughly, causing him to grunt from the strain used in order to block. "Yuki. Are you serious about her?" She asked. His hawk eyes widened. Two senju warriors were coming up. "I got this one." She warmed them and they went to attack someone else.
The young boy's face softened, looking kinder than any of his fellow clansmen. "I am."
"Now I will ask why?"
"She is pure and innocent as well as kind yet strong. Her quirks are fun to see and...." Akira's face grew slightly pink. "She is beautiful in my eyes."
Mizuki smiled. "I like you. So I apologize in advance."
He narrowed his eye but they snap open wider after a hard hit in the neck with her now bare hand. He collapses onto the ground. She lifted him onto her shoulder and sprinted past the fighting. Right before she reached the forest, Madara appeared in her path. "Taking him somewhere?" He growled, obviously not happy about seeing me.
She laid the teenager down gently before looking up. "No. I just can't kill a kid." Mizuki stood up. Her arm was already becoming a weapon again. Her eyes were soft while looking down at the boy. Yuki would surely hate her if she killed her Crow. "Anyway, make sure he is well taken care of. Allow me to signal your playmate." Madara narrowed his eyes when the woman whistled. "Hey Hash-brown! You're up!" The tan leader looked up and nodded before flashing over. Mizuki ran back into the bloody battle, pillars impaling a few Uchiha members along the way.
The battle continued for hours.
She spotted Tobirama fighting Izuna. Their battle was intense, neither man willing to give up the advantage. Mizuki materialized some senbon from the air and killed another enemy. Suddenly a sharp pain went through her shoulder as a stained blade came out the other side. The red eyes of the stoic Senju widened. He knew that he had to help her without Izuna getting in the way. With a sudden burst of chakra, he slashed through the second leader Uchiha.
The battlefield went silent. The raven coughed up blood and fell to his knees, Madara instantly coming to his aid. "Izuna!" Tobirama relaxed his stance and turned around to see the eldest lift his brother up by the arm. "Retreat!" The Uchiha clan disappeared into the trees. Hashirama came over. "Tobirama. " His voice stern. "You know I have been trying to establish peace, now it will be even more difficult."
He wasn't listening to any lectures right now. He followed the familiar chakra to where an unconscious Mizuki laid. Gently he hoisted her up. She hissed from the burning pain of her wound. But still she smiled. "Stabbed on my first day. How pitiful." She chuckled.
"Be quiet and rest." He gruffly demanded.
"Whatever." She grumbled but her consciousness slipped away despite herself.

When she woke up, her shoulder was bandaged and the pain had subsided to a dull ache. The pitter patter of running feet was the first sound she heard. Yuki ran into the room and threw her arms around the dazed woman. "Nee-chan! Nee-chan!" She cried into the violet kimono she wore. "Yuki....." She could not help but smile and stroke the girl's hair. "I'm fine."
"How did you get stabbed?"
"The Uchiha's were a lot more intense than o thought they would be."
Yuki froze.
Crap....she forgot.
"You don't mean Crow-kun's family do you?"
Mizuki huffed and leaned back on stacked pillows. "Sorry. I didn't want to drag you into this war that I was trying to protect you from. Between the Senju's and the other clan, there is a tension. Seeing how Izuna was mortally wounded, things might just be worse."
The fifteen year old stared blankly down at her feet. "Will I be able to see him again?"
"I'm sure someday you will. But right now...I suggest you wait patiently." She advised with a solemn look on her face. It was visible in the younger girl's face that she was truly in love with Akira and that she was sad over not being able to see each other. Just then a particular albino walked in. He sat down beside her futon and heaved a sigh.
Yuki got up and left the room quietly. She sat up slowly to look at him in the eye. "I thought I would be somewhat traumatized on the battlefield. Strangely I was perfectly fine and it felt natural to me." He stared at her for a moment before looking down at the wrapped shoulder. "Oh this. Heh heh, guess I wasn't as ready as I thought I was so-" Her sentence stopped when strong arms wrapped around her tightly. She wasn't expecting that at all. Plus Tobirama was being strangely quiet.
"I killed Izuna because of you." Her eye blinked in confusion while he rested his forehead onto her good shoulder. "When I saw you get cut down, I lost it." He mumbled. Mizuki felt her heart race from the close contact she had with him.
"I'm happy you were so concerned but...You're crushing me." He quickly released her. She smiled and placed a hand on his back. "You seem tired. Maybe you should go rest." He simply nodded and left. After the door closed, She placed a hand over her chest, feeling the hard thumping of her heart. "Keep calm....He didn't mean anything by it.......I think.
