Joeys POV
I woke up with a smile on my face , wolf curled up at the end of my bed near my feet .I already knew today was going to be a good day ,the sun was shining bright and the sky held hardly any clouds. I jumped out of bed walked into the bathroom and hopped in the shower.
When I finished I wrapped the towel around my waist and walked out into my room toward my closet ,when I reached it I decided to go with a white Aztec print muscle tank ,some red shorts and threw on some berks. I then walked into the bathroom and did my hair in its usual quiff and went to eat breakfast.

Shane's POV
The light seeped through the curtains pulling me out of a deep sleep , I groaned as I realized as much as I wanted to stay in bed I can't . Today was the official start of The challenge , I look over at my alarm clock realizing its 1:48 in the afternoon . I sighed before pulling myself out of bed.
I walk over to my bathroom , jump out of my clothes , and hop in the shower. When I finished I walked out and put on some clean clothes , which consisted of a plain black t-shirt and some skinny jeans gotta look my best , today I was going to ask Joey on a first date. I decide to pull out my iPhone and start to vlog.
"Hey guys , so yes today is the official start of The challenge. I just decided that I was going to fill you in on what is happening today , so I am about to go over to Joeys house and ask him on a first date... Wish me luck." I stopped the camera,shoving my phone in my pocket.
I walked into my kitchen before I realized the only food I have is several different poppin cookins and yummy nummies , which I don't even know if it could be classified as food . I decided just to wait till I get t o Joey house to eat.
Joeys POV
My phone vibrated on the counter as I was eating lunch , telling me I got a text, I reached over and grabbed my Rose gold iPhone and saw it was a text from Shane
'I'm coming over ' it read 'ok ' I responded a little to quickly.
When I finished up my lunch the sound of knocking came from my front door .
Shane's POV
When I got to Joey's house I knocked on his door , the sound of shuffling came from inside as I heard footsteps get closer.
The door slowly opened to Joey standing there in a white Aztec printed shirt , red shorts and some weird two strapped sandals he looked pretty good. Brushing my thoughts away I pushed open his door and walked in and tackled by wolf in the process , I lifted my self up pushing the slobbery dog of me. Joey just stood there chuckling.
"That's what you get for just walking in like you own the place" Joey said with a sly grin on his face.
" What? No 'Hey Shane' , 'Hi Shane' , not even a 'are you ok Shane?' And to think I came all the way over here to ask you on a first date. " I said putting my hand above my heart in mock hurt, wiping a fake tear away to add effect.
Joey just rolled his eyes and walked into his living room , his house is very nice and organized unlike mine which is always a clutter. I walked into his kitchen opened the pantry . I looked through the variety of healthy snacks till I found some red velvet pop tarts yum, I looked in the box and saw 1 silver pack left .
I took it out opened it as I walked back to where Joey was , when he noticed my he looked down at the pop tarts in my hand and glared at me as if I burned down a homeless shelter I shrugged of his glare and continued to eat the delicious food in my hands .

Joeys POV
I was typing away on my phone when Shane walked out of the kitchen eating something I didn't know what till I looked at his hands . I tried to glare at him as though he did something bad , but I'm pretty sure it came off more as he burned down a orphanage or something cause he had a glint of fear in his eyes before he shrugged me off and continued to eat MY food.
He walked all the way in and took a set of my sofa " So I was thinking we should have a first date today , what do you think? " he suggested, I shrugged and took a sip of my water
" sure could be fun." I replied nonchalantly he turned to me " don't sound to excited." He replied sarcasm lacing every word.
" ok I will pick you up at 5:30 ......dress semi -formal " he said hollowing as he was already walking out the door , it closing behind him. I turned on the tv and quickly became engrossed in this tv show called Teen Wolf on MTV .
I look up at the clock noticing that it was already 5:08 I jumped up and ran to the bathroom to get myself ready and dressed in something more suitable . By the time 5:30 rolled around I was dressed rather presentable , in a blue button up , grey blazer ,black skinny jeans and some black spikey loafers.
My phone beeped I look at it I saw it was a text from Shane telling me his is outside waiting I grabbed my phone , keys , and wallet before turning out the lights. The sun was now starting to set the sky had a orange pink tinge to it . I walked to my driveway and hopped into the passenger seat , Shane was wearing a black and gray checkered button up , black jeans , and some blue vans. We slowly backed out of my driveway . I leaned back and enjoyed the silence " where are we going?" I asked genially curious to where as that might be . " We are going to the Cicada club!" His smile widened . I have never been there but I have heard it was fun . I smiled back .

Shane's POV
After I picked up Joey I drove us to the Cicada club, it's a 1920's themed dance club and restaurant. When we got there we walked in music was blasting, people were dancing and it smelled amazing .
I grabbed hold of joeys hand as We worked our way through the bustling crowed when we finally reached the front , there was a lady in her early 50's behind a podium . " table for 2 " I said with a kind smile she picked up some menus and led us to a round table " someone will be with you In a moment." Not even a minute later a waiter with dark brown hair ,slim build comes over to our table.
"Hello my name is Daniel and I will be your Waiter for this evening can I start you with something to drink."
" I will have a water" I looked over to Joey to see what he wanted " I would also like a water" he smiled the waiter nods after writing it down and walks away . When the waiter comes back we order our food I ordered a steak and Joey ordered a grilled chicken with asparagus.
After dinner I asked Joey to dance , while we were dancing I felt someone's eyes on us I looked around i didn't see anyone looking . When we finished I drove Joey home we parted with a simple hug and good night . I took out my phone and noticed it was almost 11 . I drove back home changed out of my clothes and collapsed on my bed finally letting sleep take over.
