It was his turn to leave me. He wasn't rejecting me and he wasn't rejecting Kaleb, it was all on me. I have heard of wolves rejecting their mates and it wasn't very good. The rejected would be heartbroken for a long time and it takes a second chance mate to come along and make it right. I haven't seen it happen but I know Marcus's parents had that kind of love so I'm glad he didn't do it. Something inside me knew he would never do that to either of us.
I had a sleepless night, tossing and turning even going for a run in the middle of the night to try and clear my head but it didn't work. I wanted the life I had now with my mate but all it was doing was making things worse in my mind, making me confused. He is the alpha and needs a Luna but who wants a Luna that travels all the time. I can't and I don't want to give up the life I built for Kaleb and I.
He has everything he wants with the money that I make and is always humble about it, even telling me to donate for every charity that does collections. He had always stuck up for someone he saw was being picked on in the park. My son has a big heart and always reminds me of Aiden.
If Aiden was any other alpha like some I have come across, I would never have come back home. But I am still to determine what this newly built Aiden is like. I am pretty sure all alphas are alike in some ways, its just I am witnessing the old Aiden before the alpha title, the one I had fallen for over and over again.
"Gosh you look like you haven't slept!" Sammy says "Have you?" I shake my head in a no "Well we will get coffee at the airport and you can catch some z's on the plane" I nod my head pulling my bag along to the car yawning here and there.
"See you in few days son ok? Skype me, text me, call me write me"
"Ok mum I get it I get it, you'll only be gone a few days mum not a lifetime" I grab his bracelet and he grabs my necklace "I love you" we say at the same time when I turn my head to see Aiden walking up the drive
"You about to head out?" He asks as I nod my head "I know I wished you a safe trip last night but I'll wish it again, I wanted to have a quick word with you anyway" I look to Sammy who holds her fingers up and mouths 'five minutes' then smiles
"Son go over there for a second the alpha wants to speak to me" I kiss him on the head as he groans walking to my grandparents
"I know you didn't sleep last night, I didn't either" he says "I thought about what you said and I want to be a part of his life and yours if you want me"
I try to smile but instead I bite my lip and gaze up at his towering frame. Those muscles would do wonders against my body. Snap out of it! I saw a smirk form on his lips and my eyes widen making my cheeks heat up. Luckily I have a natural light brown skin complexion, it hides the blush.
"You should blush more often" on second thoughts maybe you can't hide from your mate
"I think we should take one step at a time? I will introduce you to him first and it can go from there, being with you means becoming Luna"
"You would make a great Luna" he smiles
"I don't doubt that I wouldn't" Ok where did that come from? I watch a bigger smirk form on his lips and one eyebrow rise "It's just I have a career that provided for me and Kaleb and I have made a name for myself, being a Luna means staying here not that staying with you and the pack isn't great, its just argh! This is so frustrating"
"Let's take the first step yeah" He takes my hand leading me over back to the car. I could see my mum holding back her tears as we approached a curious Kaleb
"Son you know the alpha" He nods his head "Well you know how nana Izzy and Grandpa Xavier said he is my friend, well he is their son" I watch him think over the words I just told him "What do you think that means?"
"Alpha is, alpha is" Kaleb looked like he was going to burst. I'll just put him out of my misery when his eyes land on my hand holding Aidens
"Alpha Aiden is your dad son" I say and watch the frown form on Kalebs face "Son?"
"My dad" Kaleb didn't smile, he had no emotion on his face "I came here all the time and you never told me!" My hand tightened around Aidens as my world crumbled again and again and again. How am I suppose to focus on work and think about what I am going to do about my mate and now my sons outburst? "Mum? Why?"
"Sorry guys but we have a plane to catch" Sammy says
"Go mum! Just go! I wonder what other lies you've told me!" He yells and runs off into the house. I turn around into Aidens arms and just cry. He holds me close rubbing my back
"Hey, it will be ok... I'll talk to him, he seems like a sixteen year old" I look up and sigh
"He is very mature, just like you were" I say "I don't think I can go now, I have to make it right with Kaleb"
"Look sweetness, I am here now I'll take care of him while you go just try not to stress yourself out" I walk over to my mum as she wipes my tears
"You've cried more at home than you have away from home, focus on work I'll look after him, sleep and have a good time" I nod my head "And I'm sure things will work out, trust me, mummy knows" I frown and watch as her smiles gets bigger
"Take care of him mum" I kiss her cheek and turn to Aiden "He will calm down in a couple of hours, leave Ethan with him, he will come to you... If my - our son is anything like you, he will have a bunch of questions for you when he is ready" He nods his head
"Call me when you land I just want to make sure you landed ok" I could feel the wolf on edge ready to stop me from leaving. I felt Aidens pain even I didnt want to leave, I really need to sort my head out. I nod and walk over to Sammy and Addison who are waiting in the car.

"Babes this is amazing!" Addison squeals inside our room of the Chancery Hotel
"Rest up ladies, it's late here we have a busy day with two shoots, day off then two more shoots next day before we head home that night... And prepare to step into the glamorous life of a photographer slash model Addison" Sammy says as she walks into her room.
"I don't think I can sleep" Addison says opening up her curtains as I pick up my bags smiling
"Maybe you should call your mate, I am sure he is worring about you" I say walking off into my room "They'll still be awake... I'll see you in the morning" I smile as she waves
I place my suitcase in the corner of the room, set up my laptop and switch it on. I hear a beep and see notifications from Skype, I look down at my phone and see text messages. Majority of them from Aiden
'You were right, he calmed down and is talking to me, you raised him better than I could ever hope, must thank Zeke when I see him next'
'Have you landed yet? Wait you probably haven't, taking him out for breakfast'
'I miss you already'
'He is worried you don't want to talk to him now, Ethan says he does it every time'
'I think you should call us now sweetness'
I chuckle to myself as I change into some clothes for bed. I grab my phone and dial Aidens number, it rang once before he picked up
"Hey beautiful" my heart flutters at the sound of his voice. This trip will be good for me to sort out what I plan to do
"How's it going?"
"He is fine, he is just hanging with us boys at Marcus's place"
"Wait whose the boys?" I say making him chuckle
"Don't worry, it's just me Hayden, your brothers, Troy and Marcus... He is fine, he's actually enjoying it with me but still worried about whether you are going to ring him, he tried ringing before but you hadn't picked up" I smile turning to my laptop
"Can you tell Blair to log in to Skype on Marcus's laptop?"
I could here a bit of shuffling and a laptop turning on before Aiden calls Blair over "I'll see you in a bit" I hang up the phone and look out the window before I hear a ringing
"Hey sweetness, how was your flight?" He asks. It was good to see his face even if it was through a laptop screen. The mate bond was making me feel more comfortable with him
"It was good I slept the whole way through but now feeling a little jet lagged so I'll probably sleep til morning, how are you feeling with Kaleb?" Even through the screen he could tell I was worried. Aiden just smiled at me
"We get along just fine, I may have lost six years with him but now I have the rest of my life with him and I'm hoping with you"
"Whipped!"
"Nawwww how cute"
"Bro do you need anticeptic for the lashes you get from being whipped so hard?"
I could hear in the background "You boys better be quiet or I'll come and shut you all up when I get back" I say. I don't hear anything from them and couldn't help but smirk "I thought so" Aiden smiles shaking his head "So where is he?"
"Playing xbox with Blair"
I heard them quieten down before I heard "Dad is that mum?!" I cover my mouth and hold back the tears when I see Aiden smiling at me as he nods his head and shrugging his shoulders
"He's been calling me that since he calmed down" I close my eyes when Kaleb calls again
"Dad is it?!"
"I should've told you he is impatient and very pushy" I smile turning around grabbing a hooded top from my suitcase "Just like his dad was"
"Still is sis!" I hear Blair yell
"Nice view babe" I snap my body back up and look to the screen "Never looked better, hey stop teasing me from over there" I stare at the screen from here. I haven't decided about us properly, what am I going to do?!
"Hey I'm just putting a jersey on because it's cold" I shake my head
"Everything you do is a tease"
"Daaadd is. That. My. Mum?" Oh my son, is so adorable!
Aiden smiles "I love hearing him say that"
"Aiden, don't push him... He is just like - oh there he goes" I say pointing behind him to see Kaleb in wolf form
"Definitely my son" He smiles "Alpha blood and big for a pup, oh god he is an amazing pup, but he has your anger issues" Aiden chuckles
"When did he shift? Has he always been this colour?" And the questions begin. Kaleb rushes at Aiden who calmly picks him up by the scruff of his neck and cuddles him making Kaleb shift back.
Blair hands Aiden some clothes, I watch as Aiden helps him dress. I was purring at the sight of two men in my life
"Mum I'm sorry for yelling at you, Dad told me everything" I smile at him "Everything you do is for me"
"Thank you son, well I better go I will text when I am going to ring you ok?" They both nod their heads "I gotta get some rest, it's midnight here"
"Ok mum I love you"
"I love you too son"
Kaleb leaves the screen and it's just Aiden and I left alone "I'll text you when I am about to call, if you aren't by a laptop or computer keep his iPad handy, its got the Skype app on it" he smiles nodding his head
"Hey what I said before you left, he's fine you know he's a good kid... And you're a great mum" I smile blushing "And think about what you want, if you want me because baby I definitely want you, rest easy" I log off and lay my head back. No pressure at all!

One shoot down, Addison got to meet One Direction. I couldn't help but laugh I didn't mention I was doing a shoot for a teen magazine and they were doing an article on 1D
'I know you are sleeping, just checking up on Kaleb and if he is ok' I send the text to my brother and stare at my phone contemplating whether to text Aiden. It would be so good to live at home again but I don't know if I can run a pack and do my job, having the heart to leave every time
Change is good but when change affects me like this. I don't know what I am going to do
