Its GRADUATION DAY! I'm beyond excited everyone including Mickey is coming he graduated yesterday lucky for us. Lately He's been off about something and had been trying to get my attention on something but I've been brushing him off. But only because I had to help Tevin with surprising Jaylee. That was a success guys! I'm convinced that with be my sister in law! IDC IDC IDC! Anyway...back to McKenzie; I don't know what it is about him right now but hopefully I get some time in to find out. -Tee
Well it's finally time. I have my cap and gown and I'm ready to walk across that stage. I'm very proud of myself for pushing myself through these hard ass classes and dealing with these dumb ass boys! Believe it or not, I must speak at this graduation. Me, Kammy, Jasen, and Carter have made it pretty far from freshman year. From disagreements to fights and more or less heartbreaks. Walking into high school my freshman year I had no idea I would end up like this.
We were all sitting down because the ceremony had began. I turned my head and I saw my whole family. Tevin brought Jaylee of course but there was no sign of McKenzie.
I tapped Kammeron, "Where's Mickey?"
She turned looking for him, "Awh damn. Look its graduation, and you have to speak in like five minutes so please don't worry about him right now and focus on getting your diploma, please."
"You know I can't do that if he's not here. If he's not here-then where is he,"
"Tee do I look like a McKenzie tracker?" Kam questioned smartly
I sucked my teeth and contemplated in my head
This can't be life right now. How can Mickey miss my graduation-he promised he would come and I went to his! OMG guys I met his parents but that's another story. I'm getting worried. -Tee
My thoughts were rudely interrupted by the voice my principle, "And now our Valedictorian Teanna White to speak,"
There were claps and cheers as I made my way up the steps and to the podium to speak. I cleared my throat and began.
" Walking into high school my freshman year I had no idea I would end up like this. NO idea we would end up like this. Through our whole high school life, we figured we would always stay the same and keep the same friends. But that was never the case. Truth is we all changed whether it was for better or even for worse. We thought we were going to keep our same personalities; the same way we thought we were going to stay with the same friends. I can only speak for me when I say nothing has been the same from day one. Friends came and went, people died, and people changed. We have all went through something or did something the past 4 years we've been together. Some things we regret and other things we would love to do all over. As a graduating class we put smiles on each others faces whether we knew what we were going through or not. We sort of gave each other life when needed. From the day we stepped foot into this school to now-we were writing a story. A story of how we crashed parties.; failed classes because we wanted to, smoked weed just to do it, and had sex to know how it felt. This story was this beginning to the sequel-and that starts tomorrow. And in this story we will take risk and take chances. Dye our hair, change our physical appearances for the heck of it. Go to college take a major, to change it 2 times and try again. Fall in love a million times and get our hearts broken. This is the story where we enter the real world and make real mistakes. This is the story that we want to look back at and share with our kids one day. And this is the story where we make the most of what we will ever have. So for my graduating class of Miami Beach High. Don't let destiny write your life; you are the pen and the years to come are your paper. And if we ever cross paths in any point in time-make sure you have your story, because it was written to be shared and we all want to hear it. Much love and congrats."
I took deep breaths as I smiled and looked amongst my graduating class and their loved ones. They were clapping and cheering as I walked back down to my seat. More words were said and it was finally that time. The time to collect that little booklet that held the end of my high school life. Our names were being called to collect our diplomas. They called my name and with the family I have of course they were gonna be loud. Duh! BUT I got my diploma and that's all that matters.

Well after graduation I had to go home real fast to grab a few things before my dinner and when I pulled up in the driveway there stood Mickey on the steps.
I don't understand why he can show up at my house but not my graduation. I really wanna hear this explanations because I'm seriously gonna be upset if it's some bullshit
I got out my car and started for the door
"Hey baby" he started
"The B word..."
He rolled his eyes, "I know the rules."
I opened the door and took him up into my room. He's never been in my room so this is a first.
"You got a lot of stuff around here Tee. Pretty much that whole side."
"Nigga that's Kammy's stuff! She swear she live here. I'm telling you."
He laughed and sat on my bed
"So why did you miss it?"
"Your graduation..." he sighed
I nodded my head in conformation
"I was packing..."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "To go?"
"Georgia."
"For?"
"The summer..." he said softly
"The summer?! The whole summer! What's out there for you to be gone the whole summer?"
He sighed, "I don't wanna tell you."
"Why not?"
"Look how you just reacted to me leaving-believe me you're not gonna like it."
"Spit it out."
"I...um..I have to visit my mom's friend. And watch her daughter for the summer while she's on a business trip."
I lightened up, "Oh. That's nothing! As long as you keep in touch I'm perfectly fine with that."
"Well..umm...okay." He said slowly
"Tee I'm just gonna go wash my face real face I've been sweating a lot."
I nodded my head.
I was just sitting on my bed when this niggas phone goes off.
Kali: Can't wait till you get here. Aiden misses his daddy and so do I
What the actual fuck. Daddy? This has to be a fucking joke-this guy is a liar and apparently has a fucking child! Great Tee. This is what you get for talking to strangers at the damn beach. I hate him so much right now. shit! -Tee
Mickey walked back in drying his face. I was looking down and a tear rolled down my cheek.
"What you doing with my phone babe?" he questioned,
I walked to him dropping his phone in his hands, "Have a nice life in Georgia 'daddy' I'm sure Aiden and Kali will be glad to see you"
He rushed after me and grabbed my hand
I pushed him off, "Let me go! Who the hell is Kali huh McKenzie? Who is Aiden?"
"Kali is my mom's friend's daughter. Aiden is her son. Baby calm down."
"Don't you dare call me baby. You just lied to my face. You forgot to add in the fact that you were going to Georgia to see your child? Did you forget about that?"
"He's not mine." he stated
"Then why is she saying Aiden missed his daddy? The last time I checked daddy meant father!"
"Kali is 16 the last time I was there she had a son and her baby daddy didn't want a child so I helped her with Aiden. Kali has no dad so Aiden has no father figure and I was there at the time so I became that man."
"Why is she saying she misses you? What did you two have going on?"
My eyes were watering and I couldn't stop it.
"Yes she does have feelings for me and I did at some point feel something for her but that's non-existent now that I have you believe me. You have to trust me baby. Trust me with this one please. I would never hurt you purposely." He pleaded
"No I can't. Not with Ms.Kali having feelings for you. Feelings always come back when you least expect it. I would know believe me."
"Baby..."
"Get out McKenzie..."
"Teanna..."
"GET TF OUT MCKENZIE!"
I pushed him out the house and slid my back against the closed door. I could hear him standing outside my house on the other side of the door, "I leave tonight and when I come back we're gonna talk about everything. Okay baby? I'll be texting and calling you everyday. I'll miss you baby...goodbye.."
I closed my eyes and shook my head as I could hear him pull out of the driveway and leave.
I always said after D I would never shed another tear for any man. So why is it that I'm shedding so many for him? -Tee
