Chapter Two
nung nakita ko sya. napahawak ako sa kwintas na nasa leeg ko. the necklace has a pendant of a Big letter A with a halo above it. it is studded with emerald stone that i assumed is her birthstone.
sa kanya galing tong kwintas na to eh. she even gave me a kiss on her birthday. i think its her 18th birthday when i met her.
lumapit siya kila Anton na niyakap nya pati yung dalawang babae. bago umupo sa harap ko na katabi ni Anton. the professor started discussing things. but me? i'm out of focus.
so her name is Alexis. the woman who gave me sleepless night for 5 months. yes. sleepless. that night when she kissed me. i've been sleepless, i cant forget how her lips taste like. its like a drug that i wanted more and more everyday.
pagkatapos ng class namin naunang lumabas yung mga kaibigan nya at naiwan sya for the notes na namiss nya. and i took this opportunity. inabangan ko sya sa labas. pagkalabas nya tinakpan ko yung bibig nya saka hinila papasok sa isang room na walang tao.
actually. i was expecting her to shout and slap me when i let go of her.
and my jaw dropped the way she reacted.
she smiled at me..
"hello. you need something from me?" she asked while smilling. anu bang klaseng babae to. nakangiti kahit hinila ko na ng di ako nagpapaalam.
"classmate ka namin di ba? i'm Alexis." she offered her hand to me which i reluctantly accepted. nakakatanga talaga yung reaction nya.
"i'm Steven." sabi ko nung nakabawi ako.
"ah. steven." tumango tango sya. "Steven, sana di mo ko hinihila hila agad. just ask me to come with you. i'll come." she said and smiled a little.
i snapped back to my senses and went on with the real plan.
i pressed her on the wall and trapped her hands above her head.
"Uhm. Steven. anung ginagawa mo?" she asked softly.
"May utang ka sakin Alex. you kissed me without permission. its payback time." she frowned.
"Kissed you? sorry Steven. i dont mean to sound rude but i dont remember kissing you. can you enlighten me?" she asked softly.
i let her hand go and showed her her necklace.
she gasped.
"it was you that night." she said softly. i nodded and smirked.
"Steven. i'm sorry. it wasnt my intention to kiss you like that. its just that there's a lot of things going through my head that night. i'm sorry." she said softly.
"Angel, in case you dont know. i lost my girlfriend that night because of that stupid kiss." i hissed at her ear. and god! she smells like strawberry. i could eat her forever.
she bit her lips and she have this guilty expression. good!
"i'm sorry Steven. i really am. i dont know how to make it up to you." she said softly. anu bang klaseng babae to. hinaharass ko na. mahinahon pa din at malumanay yung boses.
"From now on you'll be my slave until we graduate. you have to do whatever i ask you to do." she bited her lips and slowly nodded. "and anytime i need you. you have to be there okay?" she nodded again.
i handed her my iphone.
"Put your number there. so i can contact you." she slowly puts her number and handed me back the iphone. i saved her number and put it back in my pocket.
"Now to seal this agreement." i lifted her face and give her a smack on the lips. she just stood there. frozen.
"See you around. Angel." i turned my back on her and left the room.

Alexis POV
"See you around. Angel." he left the room. and i weakly sat on the floor.
i just got my second kiss from the same man whom i gave my first kiss with.
i was literally shock when somebody covered my mouth and pulled me inside an empty room.
when he removed his hand i smiled at him and asked him if he needs something from me.
i can see he's shock the way i reacted but thats the way how i am raised. Mommy never taught us to be mean and mighty to anyone. she taught us to be good and kind and never ever hurt anybody or raise voices to anyone. coz a good person is always nice and can deal with problems in a calm and quiet way.
and i was shocked when he showed me my necklace. actually that's my dad's gift to me on my eighteenth birthday when he saw me crying under the tree.
I am so guilty when he told me that his girlfriend and him broke up because of my impulsiveness.
when he saw me that night crying under the tree. Daddy was asking me to take my masteral in harvard. i was in italy after that because mommy gave me a vacation. a stressful Vacation because Daddy ordered Kuya Andrei to teach me the turns and rounds of our business there and before i went home Mommy finally persuaded Daddy to let me take my masteral here in manila.
i almost flinched away from my bag when my iphone rang. immediately searched for it and answered it.
"Girl! where the hell are you?!" Anton shouted on the other line.
"i'm on my way down. wait for me there." i hanged up my phone and took my bag. i stood up and removed the dirt on my long skirt and went to the canteen where Anton and the girls are waiting.
pagpunta ko sa canteen pinagtitinginan ako ng mga tao. lagi namang ganun. me and my friends came from a very prestigious and powerful families. the media men and press people had their eyes on us. always. lahat ng kilos at galaw ay lagi nilang nirereport.
lumapit ako sa kanila saka umupo sa tabi ni Anton at humilig sa balikat nya. "Missed you." i whispered softly.
"Kami hindi?" nakasimangot na tanong ng Dalawa.
"syempre mas namiss ko kayo kesa sa taong to." nakangiting sabi ko saka lumipat sa tabi nila. natawa nalang kaming tatlo nung inirapan ako ni Anton. lumipat nalang ako sa tabi ni Anton
"Asan pasalubong namin?" nakangising sabi ni Sammy.
lumabi ako. "kaya nyo lang ata ako pinapunta dito para sa pasalubong eh."
"Hindi noh! syempre namiss ka namin excited lang kami sa pasalubong mo." nakangising sabi ni Tiffany.
"nasa bahay pa. kakauwi ko lang kaya kahapon. puntahan nyo nalang dun mamaya." Sammy pouted.
"Ugh! Excited pa naman ako. kala ko dala mo dito." dismayadong sabi ni Sammy. napangisi ako.
"Tara na. nasa kotse ko na. excited kasi masyado." hinila na nila ako papunta sa kotse ko. sus!
binuksan ko yung backseat saka kinuha yung limang paperbags ng Hermes.
"Wow! Hermes? kaloka ka talaga." Manghang sabi ni Anton. ngumisi ako sa kanya.
"Packaging lang yan. chocolates lang laman sa loob." pang aasar ko sa kanila. binelatan ako ni Tiffany saka binuksan nya yung paperbag.
"Awww! thank you Lex!" sabi nya saka lumambitin sa leeg ko.
"Thank you Girl!" sabi ni Sammy saka yumakap sa leeg ko. nagpasalamat din sakin si Anton saka nakigroup hug.
"teka lang." natatawang sabi ko saka lumayo sa kanila. "Asan si Andrea. bat absent yon?"
nagtitigan silang tatlo saka umiwas ng tingin.
"ay! may lakad nga pala ako." sabi ni Sammy saka umalis.
"Ay oo nga pala. hahanapin ko yung magiging boyfriend ko." sabi ni Tiffany. ha?
"Naku. hinahanap na din ako ng Mommy ko." sabi ni Anton saka umalis na din. naiwan akong nakatanga.
"Yah!" i said in a voice a little louder. "nasa L.A si Tita Toni ah?" i whispered softly. meron ba kong di alam?
nagkibit balikat nalang ako saka sinara yung kotse ko. napasandal nalang ako sa bmw convertible ko. anu bang nangyayari?
nasa malalim akong pag iisip nung
"Bulaga!!" napatakip ako sa mata ko.
"Para kang bata." natatawang sabi ni Steven bago tumabi sakin saka nakisandal sa kotse ko.
"Nagulat ako eh." mahinang sabi ko. bigla nalang kasing nag aappear. parang kabute.
"Lagi ka bang ganyan?" nanunuyang sabi nya.
"Like what?" i asked.
"Hindi sumisigaw. laging kalmado. tao ka pa ba?" nakangising sabi nya.
"maybe? i think so. wala namang nangyari sakin na nakakapag duda eh." sagot ko sa kanya. sumimangot sya.
"whatever. wala kang kwentang kausap." sabi nya saka nag walk out.
"hala? ako pa walang kwentang kausap." mahinang sabi ko.
Wala pa ngang isang araw. binully na ko ni Steven.
"panu ako tatagal nito." namromroblemang sabi ko. itinaas ko yung kamay ko saka kinagat yung hinlalaki ko.
why do i have this feeling that i just made a deal with a Devil?
