You had shed your blood, sweat and tears to become a WWE superstar and you loved your job but you struggled to be around a certain wrestler on a daily basis. Yourself and Seth Rollins had gone to the same high school but he used to bully you and being around him made you feel uncomfortable and brought back painful memories. As an adult you should have been able to put it all behind you and move on but seeing him stired it all up again, so you did your best to avoid him. Of course you knew you'd bump into him eventually, it was inevitable. However when you did, Seth didn't act the way you'd expected him too. Instead of being disrespectful (which you haad expected) or acting like nothing had happened (which wouldn't surprise you) he flirted with you
"Hey (Y/N), looking good'' Seth said, winking at you as you walked past him "Great match by the way"
You walked a little faster and looked at the floor, ignoring him
"Hey wait up. Just slow down a second'' Seth shouted as he rushed to catch up with you ''Why are you avoiding me? I've been trying to speak to you for weeks''
He grabbed hold of your arm and you tensed up "Please don't touch me"
''Have i done something to offend you?'' He asked
As he looked at you it finally dawned on you why he'd been acting so strange ''You don't recognize me do you?''
Seth looked at you blankly "No, should I?"
"I'm the girl you bullied at school, the girls life you made misery for nearly six years!" You answered "That's why I'm avoiding you"
Seth covered his mouth with his hand as he finally realized who you were "Oh my god. I didn't realize. I mean you look so different"
"Yeah well now you know!!" you said walking off
"No wait" Seth said catching up with you "I don't want you to feel uncomfortable around me because of something I did years ago. I'm not that guy anymore, I've changed" Seth said
You looked at him unconvinced
"I was a stupid kid back then and I'm not proud of what i did but do you think you could maybe give me another chance?"
"I can't promise you anything" you replied truthfully "Whenever I'm around you everything comes flooding back"
"I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to you (Y/N) I promise" He pulled you into him for a hug and once again you tensed up "It's okay I'm not going to hurt you"
You took a deep breath and slowly relaxed into his embrace. It was taking all the strength you had not to pull away from him and run off but you were determined to get over this. You had held onto these negative feelings for far too long. It was time to let them go and try to move on once and for all
