I looked up and knew who it was all at once, from the voice.
"Harry." I said
He looked me straight in the eyes. I could tell he was trying to figure If I was happy to see him or bored.
"Anne. How... Um... How are you?" He stuttered.
"I'm alright. And you?"
"I'm still hanging in there." He chuckled.
I couldn't help, but chuckle myself.
"I want to know about the party. Could we please talk about what happened?" He begged.
As much as I wanted to, I couldn't. I couldn't. It was so hard.
"I'm sorry Harry. I really am. I can't."
"One day, I am going to find out. I'm going to find out all thses secrets about you." He said.
I was speechless. I just looked down at my notebook. Not making eye contact.
"So," he continued. "Could we start off again? A better way, and maybe get to know each other or something?"
I looked up. I could tell he was really trying, I guess. I couldn't let anybody else in. I couldn't. I was so scared.
It felt like it happened again at that moment. Everything changed. That moment was set up. It was our moment, but so similar to Pete and I's, but so different.
It was incredible.
"Okay." I agreed.
He smiled.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I let him in. When I let him break my piece by piece. When he broke down my walls. All I know is that everything had changed.
