Hey guys, so I figured it was about time that we get to meet a few members of Noah's family! Woo! As always, I hope you enjoy the chapter and if you do, I hope you vote and comment. I appreciate every one!

Picture: Jackie (Noah's sister)

Song: Hey, Soul Sister, by Train (One of my favourite summer tunes everrrr!)

Lily POV (*10 days later*):

I was pacing back and forth, running my hands through my hair for the twentieth time. Noah was coming to pick me up any minute now and I still couldn't decide what to wear. Meeting his sister and brother in law was giving me a stomach ache, and I was starting to feel sick. Just as I walked over to my wardrobe and yanked it open a little harder than necessary, I heard a faint knocking on my bedroom door.

"Hey, it's me," Jen said from the hallway. "Can I come in?"

Sighing, I jogged over to the door and opened it to see Jen standing there, an amused look on her face. "What's wrong with me?" I asked, "I never usually give a flying fig about this kind of stuff, so why am I getting so flustered?"

She laughed softly and stepped in to the room, eyeing the sweat pants and vest top I was wearing. "You just want to make a good impression, that's all," she smiled, "I'll help you find something but you know, you shouldn't be worried. Of course they're going to love you, just like I do."

I smiled and hugged her briefly. "You really are a good friend."

"Ha!" She laughed, slapping me on the back causing me to stumble forward slightly. "I'm the best, and don't you forget it."

She winked at me, before stepping over to my wardrobe and putting her hands on her hips. As I watched her, I collapsed on to the bed and waited constantly eyeing my clock, wary of the limited time I had until Noah arrived. Just as my patience disappeared and I leapt up to help with the search, Jen turned to face me with a huge grin on her face.

"We've got a winner!" She said happily, reaching in to the wardrobe and pulling out a yellow dress I couldn't remember unpacking.

"Is that mine?" I asked, frowning at it. It definitely didn't look like something I would wear.

"It must be," Jen shrugged, walking over to the bed. "Although I have to say Lily, I didn't think this was your kind of thing."

"Ohhhh! I remember it now. My aunt Flo bought it for me before I moved here," I smiled fondly, my mind drifting back home. "She packed it for me but I took it out of my suitcase. She must have snuck it back in and I just didn't realize when I put it in the wardrobe."

"Thankyou Aunt Flo!" Jen shouted, throwing her hands in the air and laughing loudly.

"So you think that's the one?" I asked nervously, running my hand through my hair again.

"Yep. It looks great so you put this one on and - "

Suddenly, a loud knock came from the living room and I took a deep breath, snatching the dress off Jen and practically shoving her out the room. "Go answer the door, it'll be Noah. Just tell him I'll be five minutes."

"Ok, ok. Jeez, stop pushing me woman!" Jen whispered as she stumbled in to the hallway.

Before I had a chance to shut the door, she spun around and gave me a brief hug, before pulling back and smiling at me. "I'm glad you're happy again. I'm proud of you, you know."

Staring at my best friend, I could feel my eyes watering but I shook my head and pulled it back. Now was not the time to get emotional. So instead, I took of hold of her hand and squeezed it gently, "Well you may think it's just because of Noah, but it's not. You've always been there for me and I can never thank you enough."

"Oh crap," Jen whispered, pulling back her hand and wiping her eyes. "Look at the two of us, standing out here in the hallway, welling up like a pair of over-emotional tools."

I laughed and shook my head, stepping back in to my room. "I know, but hey, it's what best friends do right? You better go open the door, he's probably wondering where I am. Tell him I'll be five minutes."

"Sure thing," Jen smiled, sticking her thumbs up at me before disappearing in to the living room.

Shutting my bedroom door, I stared at the dress laying on my bed. "Well, here goes nothing...." I mumbled to myself nervously.

Noah POV:

I knocked on the door for what felt like the hundreth time and I was starting to wonder if anyone was even in the apartment. Just as I reached for my phone in my jacket pocket, Jen swung the door open, an apologetic look on her face.

"Sorry about that, we were kind of having some issues," she said, stepping back to let me in the apartment.

"Issues?" I questioned, looking around for Lily.

"Uh, yeah it's Lily."

"What?" I almost shouted, spinning around to face her. "Where is she? Is she ok?"

"Noah, relax would ya?" Jen laughed, collapsing on to the sofa. "She was just feeling a little nervous and she couldn't decide what to wear."

"But Lily doesn't care what she wears. That's one of the things I lo-" I faltered, realizing I had almost said it out loud. "That's one of the things I like about her."

Risking a glance at Jen, I could see her grinning at me, a knowing look in her eyes. But to my relief, she didn't mention the slip up. Pacing back and forth, I kept my eyes on the hallway, waiting for Lily to appear. After a couple of minutes, she still hadn't come out of her room and I was tempted to go and knock on the door. But as I glanced at my watch, her bedroom door opened and I looked up. And what I saw almost took my breath away.

Lily was wearing a pale yellow sundress, that fell just below her knees. Her long blonde hair was swept to the side, falling over her left shoulder. As my eyes greedily raked over every inch of her, I couldn't help but smile when my eyes reached the floor. She was wearing her tatty old converses, just like she always did.

"Hey gorgeous," I whispered as she walked towards me, a nervous smile on her face. "You look beautful."

"Thanks, " she muttered, shooting a grateful glance over to Jen, who was watching us with amusement. "I just wanted to look half decent when I meet them."

"Well mission accomplished," I joked, grabbing hold of her hand and pulling her towards me.

As she fell in to my arms, I leant down and pressed my lips against hers. She tasted of strawberries, and I realized she was wearing a little lip gloss. I liked it.  Pulling away, I threaded my fingers through her hair and stared down at her. "You ready?"

She nodded slightly and stepped back, taking hold of my hand and entwining her fingers with mine. "Lets go. Jen, I'll see you later. Thankyou for, well, thankyou for everything."

"Your welcome," she smiled, waving as we walked towards the door. "Bye Noah, have fun."

"Oh I will!" I laughed, squeezing Lily's hand. "See you around."

Closing the door behind us, I turned my head to make sure the hallway was empty. It was. And I couldn't help myself, stepping in front of Lily, I stopped and looked down at her.

"What's up?" She questioned, raising her eyebrow at me.

I just took a deep breath and placed both hands on her waist, pushing her back swiftly. She looked startled, and didn't have any time to react before my body was pressed against hers, and she was trapped against me and the wall. Looking in to her eyes, I smiled softly and swept the pad of my thumb across her bottom lip.

"What are you doing to me?" I said, the sheer amount I felt for her scaring me a little.

I growled deep in my throat as she kissed the pad of my thumb, sending a wave of desire through me. "I don't know," she whispered truthfully. "But isn't that half the fun?"

Laughing quietly, I shook my head and gripped her hips tighter, causing her to gasp and grab on to my shoulders. "So are you going to kiss me already?" I smirked. "Or do you just enjoy the foreplay?"

She grinned at me and bit her bottom lip, almost making me lose control. But I stood perfectly still as she stood on her tiptoes and bought her lips against mine, barely grazing them. "You call that a kiss?" I breathed, smiling against her lips.

I heard her laugh softly as she pulled away. "What are you - " I asked, before she gently licked my earlobe and stopped me mid-question.

Taking a sharp breath, I closed my eyes as she trailed small kisses down my neck. My hands gripped hold of her hips even tighter, anything to stop me ripping me her clothes off right there in the hallway. I moaned as she kissed the hollow of my neck and rubbed her hands up my back slowly. With my eyes shut tightly, I reluctantly stepped back and tucked my hands in my pockets.

"I - uh - I had to step back, because if I didn't I couldn't be held responsible for my actions," I whispered, opening my eyes to find Lily still leaning against the wall.

All of a sudden, she laughed and stepped towards me. "I think I've found your weak spot college boy."

Grinning widely, I took hold of her hand and led her down the stairs. "Well it seems that you have," I agreed. "But it's only fair that I get to find yours. And I have to say, I'm looking forward to it."

She smiled as we walked down the stairs to the private carpark and I couldn't help but glance at her out of the corner of my eye. I was glad to see that it had worked, she was distracted enough to not feel so nervous, and that was all I cared about.

*3 hours later*

We were stood by the arrival gate and Lily's hand was in mine, gripping it tightly. Squeezing it reassuringly, I scanned the crowd for my sister. The plane had landed a while ago, so her and Dick should be out any minute now. As my eyes wandered, a huge grin broke out as I spotted Jackie hauling a huge backpack. She was wearing cargo pants and a white t-shirt, and her black hair was in a messy pony tail.

"JACKIE!" I yelled, waving at her with my spare hand.

She looked up and her eyes met mine, a huge grin breaking out. I smiled as I watched her spin around and talk to the burly guy behind her. I waved as Dick looked up from his bag and nodded at me.

"You see them?" I asked Lily, who was scanning the crowd.

"Yep," she nodded, looking slightly nervous.

"NOAH!" I heard someone screaming my name, and I looked up to see Jackie running towards us, her hair blowing behind her.

I held out my arms, expecting a big hug so I was a little miffed when she ignored me and barged in to Lily first, wrapping her arms around her. Huffing out an annoyed breath, I watched as Lily laughed and hugged her back, a slight look of bemusement on her face. After a minute, Jackie pulled back and smiled at Lily.

"Its so good to finally meet you Lily, I've heard a lot about you. My name's Jackie."

"I know," she smiled. "I've heard a lot about you too."

"Well you're a hot one, what the hell do you see in my gangly brother?" She laughed, glancing at me and winking.

I watched as Lily grinned, nodding her head. "He is a little gangly isn't he?" she agreed, smiling at my sister.

"Ummm...excuse me," I interrupted, folding my arms and frowning at the two of them. "But could you two stop discussing me like I'm not even here."

Jackie laughed loudly and stepped towards me and wrapped her arms around my waist, squeezing me tightly. "It's good to see you little bro. It's been too long."

Sighing, I wrapped my arms around her and squeezed her back, burying my face in her hair. "I've missed you," I whispered quietly, not even sure if she heard it.

I dropped my arms as she stepped back and took hold of Lily's hand, reassuring her. "So, Lily, what was it that first attracted you to this annoying guy right here?" Jackie laughed, prodding me in the stomach.

"Just his wit and charm," she smiled, although I could tell she was being sarcastic.

"Wit and charm? Puh - lease," Jackie laughed, stepping forward to pat Lily on the shoulder. "It's totally cool to be honest with me, you thought he was an ass didn't you?"

Lily burst out laughing and I just stared at the two of them. "Oh I see how this is going to be," I muttered, "The girls are going to gang up on me huh? I should have known."

"Well now that you mention it," Lily smiled at Jackie.

She laughed loudly and patted Lily on the back. "You and me are gonna get on just fine!"

"Hey where's Dick?" I interrupted, realising we were missing someone.

"Oh, he's over there," Jackie said, pointing behind her without looking around. "And you know he hates being called Dick, how many times do I have to tell you?"

"Is he ok with all that stuff?" I heard Lily ask as I looked towards the direction Jackie had pointed.

Dick had two backpacks, one on each shoulder and they both looked pretty heavy. He was simultaneously wheeling a large suitcase, and he was looking seriously out of breath. His blonde hair was matted to his forehead and it seemed like he was mumbling obscenities under his breath to hide his annoyance.

"Let's go help him with the stuff," I said, although I took no move forward.

"Nah he's fine," Jackie shugged, smiling at Lily. "He insisted on carrying all the bags, including the backpack he made me hand over, so I wasn't gonna say no to that."

"Ah, so he's like Noah then, " Lily nodded. "He always insists on carrying all the bags."

"Really?" Jackie asked, her voice filled with skepticism. "At home when he goes shopping with me, Noah makes me carry all the damn bags while he stuffs his face with food."

"Don't tell lies!" I argued in mock anger, winking at Lily. "Oh, hey here's the big man now!"

"Honeyyy!" Jackie smiled, looking her fiance up and down. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes."

"I'm - great," he huffed, wiping the sweat off his brow. "Jesus it's warm out here, don't they have any air conditioning in this place or what?"

"Dick, it's a pleasure to see you again," I smirked, knowing that would get him all riled up.

"For the last time Noah, it's not Dick," he sighed, standing up to his full 6"3 height, an inch taller than me.

All of a sudden, he lunged towards me and put me in a headlock, not giving me any chance to step away. His shirt was clinging to him and I cringed, trying to wiggle away, but his muscled arms made it impossible.

"DICK!" I laughed, "Let go of me you dick. Notice the little play on words there."

After a moment, he laughed and released me, punching me on the shoulder, "Man it's good to see you."

"Yeah you too," I nodded, rubbing my neck.

"And this must be Lily, am I right?" He smiled, turning towards her and extending a hand.

"Yep. And you're Richard. It's nice to finally meet you," Lily smiled, shaking his hand.

I watched as Richard smiled and nodded at Lily. "I like you already. Anyone who can put up with this pleb deserves a medal."

"I second that," Jackie laughed, wrapping her arm around her fiance's trim waist.

"What is this?" I yelled frustrated, throwing my hands up in the air dramatically. "List everything you don't like about Noah day?!"

I just sighed as everyone laughed, but Lily took hold of my hand and squeezed it gently. "You're not so bad college boy," she whispered, grinning at me.

Smiling, I pulled her towards me and wrapped an arm around her waist. "So, you guys ready to get back to the apartment?" I asked, looking at Jackie and Dick. "It'll take a couple of hours, so we might as well get going."

"Yeah, we're ready," Jackie smiled. "But how about you guys go and put the bags in the car whilst Lily and I go and get us some smoothies from the coffee shop over there?"

"Sounds like a plan to me," Lily smiled.

"Alright then, Dick you grab those two bags," I pointed, trying to ignore the dirty look he was giving me at having called him Dick when he just specifically asked me not to. "I'll grab the suitcase and we'll wait for these two by the car."

"Yes sir!" Dick muttered sarcastically, heaving the bags on to his back and waiting for me to hurry up.

Picking up the handle of the suitcase, I started to walk away but looking over at Lily, I dropped the suitcase and walked over to her. Ignoring the small smile that was playing on my sisters lips, I kissed Lily on the forehead and brushed a strand of hair that had fallen loose behind her ear.

"I'll see you in ten gorgeous," I whispered, winking at her.

"And ugly, I'll see you too," I laughed, glancing at my sister quickly, jogging away before she could hit me.

Catching up to Dick, I smiled at him before glancing over my shoulder again. Jackie had linked her arm through Lily's and they seemed to be talking like old friends as they walked to the coffee shop.

And at that very moment, I couldn't have been happier.
