3 Months later
" Man , I can't believe you and shawty still together after all of this time." Juan joked, while we sat in V.I.P nursing our drinks and vibing to the music.
" Hell nawl , me either" Chris said laughing with Juan. These niggahs get on my nerves for real.
" I just knew after you told her about what type of business you're really into she would haul ass" Juan continued.
That really kind of hit me because I still haven't told her about my other life. I know its wrong but I just can't seem to form the words into sentences and i'm dreading when the time comes for her to know the truth.
Taking in my silence the boys stopped laughing and turned to look at me with piercing eyes.
" You have told her?" Chris asked, making me look down at my drink.
" awww hell nawl !" Juan exclaimed.
" Bruh you gotta tell lil mama, keeping it away is only going to make things worse in the long run." He continued.
" I know man, I just don't know how." I said.
" Whatcha mean you don't know how?" Chris asked.
" I just don't Aight!!" I said growing frustrated.
" Don't get mad at us because you fucking up." Juan said.
" Right, you better tell her before she finds out from someone else and leaves your dumb ass." Chris said shaking his head.
" I know , but what if she still leaves?" I said.
" What will I do then, I can't live without that woman she means more to me than my own life. How do you let go of something like that?" I asked to no one in particular.
" Man I don't know how to answer that question but what I do know is lies kill relationships and the lie you are holding will be the death of yours if you don't man up and tell Maddison the truth she deserves that much." Chris said.
" Yeah , yall are right let me get up outta here I have some serious thinking to do." I said dapping them both.
" Aight man be safe"
"Good luck"
They both said at the same time as I found my way out of V.I.P.
I'm sure gonna need some luck on my side to tell Maddison the truth.

The day has finally come. I'm going to tell Maddison my darkest secret. I hope she doesn't reject me because I have plans to spend the rest of my life with her and I do not want this to get in the way of that. I have already bought an engagement and a new house that I know she will love. I hope she doesn't think i'm doing all of this just to make her stay because that is not the case at all. I love this woman whole heartily and I hope she can find it in herself to forgive me for all of my wrong doings and lies. Well guess there is no time like the present I better get my ass out of this car and knock on her door before I lose all my confidence.
Taking a deep breath I steeped out of my new baby blue customized Bentley. I lightly ran my hands over my grey and baby blue tailor made suit with silver cuff links to get the few wrinkles I acquired while sitting in the car for so long and walk up maddison's long drive way until I reached the door. After ringing the door bell I patiently waited for her to answer the door. I know I could of used my key but this wasn't a social invitation and I thought it would be inappropriate of me to do so on this occasion.
She opened the door and I couldn't help but stand there love struck. She looked so fucking beautiful. She cut her hair into a bob like style and dye it a honey blonde color which complimented her skin perfectly. She wore a baby blue body con dress with nude open toe wedges and of course her bracelet along with a silver heart necklace and diamond studs in her ears. My baby is the most beautiful woman on the planet, I swear.
" You ready" She asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
" Yeah , come on baby girl" I said grabbing her by the hand and leading her to the car.
" You look amazing by the way." I whispered in her ear.
Blushing, she responded " Thanks, babe you don't look too bad yourself."
" Where are you taking me?" She asked after we were situated in the car.
" Don't worry your pretty little head you'll see when we get the there." I responded turning the radio up so she couldn't ask anymore questions.
" Fine!" She huffed sitting back in here seat.
I glanced over at her taking her hand in mine as I drove . Lord what will I do without you I asked myself.

Carlos pov
Pulling up to our new grand three story home I purchased and had furnished a few weeks ago I parked the Bentley. Hearing a gasp escape Maddison's mouth I couldn't help but to smile. I exited the vehicle and proceeded to walk around to the other side of the car to help my love out. As I closed the door behind us I gently grabbed her hand in mine to lead her inside.
"Carlos, where are we?" Maddison asked with a look of confusion and astonishment on her face.
"You'll see shortly" I responded.
When we finally approached the grand doors I retrieved the key from my pocket to allow us entry. Once inside I lead Maddison to the dinning room where I had my personal chef cook us dinner. The dinning room was dimly lit and our plates were already in place for us. After forcing Maddison to sit down and stop gawking over the house we began to eat our dinner which consisted of a seafood feast. If you can name it we had it. I choose seafood because I know its Maddison's favorite.
"So, all of this for little ole me?" Maddison asked being the silly individual she was.
"Of course, you deserve this and much more" I replied.
"Okay, I can't take it anymore where are we?"
"Do you have super rich parents that I don't know about?" She questioned
"Maddison stop being silly, you have already met my parents and though they are well off now this isn't there home." I told her and when I say parents i'm referring to my mom and step-dad everyone knows my real farther wasn't around growing up but that beside the point.
"I know, but seriously where are we babe and why are we really here?"
"I know you, I can tell that you're up to something I just can't figure out what. You have been acting strange all night and I want to know why." She said.
"Maddison I have want to ask you something but first I have a confession to make."
"Please just hear me out before you start jumping to conclusions, okay?"
" Okay, tell me what's up." She said giving me the go ahead to continue.
Taking a deep breath I gathered all my courage it's either now or never I thought.
" Ummm, Maddison you know I love you right?'' I asked her. She just nodded in response.
I got up from my seat and kneeled on my knees in front of her.
" I want you to be my wife. I can't see myself with anyone else." I told her pulling out the engagement ring that cost me half a mil.
"This house we are in belongs to us. Both of our names are on the deed I want to start a family with you and grow old together. I want to wake up to you every morning and go to sleep with you every-night. I want you to be my partner for life my rider."
"Carlos I would love to be your---
" Wait baby-girl before you say those words there is more." I tell her.
"I haven't been honest about my lifestyle."
"What do you mean?" She asked looking at me with confusion in her beautiful orbes.
"I...I...I uhhhh.....I'm a King pin" I said letting out a sigh.
"I wanted to tell you a long time ago but I just couldn't form it into words. Maddison i'm sorry for keeping this from you but I thought I was protecting you by not saying anything but in reality I was just protecting myself. I didn't want you to look at me differently because of this."
She just stood there looking at me with a blank expression. With each second that passed by I knew things would be turning for the worse.
" Please say something." I pleaded with her.
"Take me home"
"Maddison, wait can we talk about this?"
" NO!, TAKE ME HOME!!" She screamed with tears streaming down her face.
I stood to me feet and grabbed her out of her chair pulling her close.
"Baby, please this is our home. Just talk to me we can work this out."
" You think because you buy some big as house and a ring that it will make up for your dishonesty?" She questioned.
"We had a conversation about secrets and I revealed all of mine. I was actually scared of losing because of the secret I was holding but this compares nothing to that. I asked you did you have anything you wanted me to know and you looked me in my face in lied. I gave you all of Carlos! ALL OF ME AND WHAT DO I GET IN RETURN.......a liar."
"Just take me home i'm done with this and i'm done with you. No I will not marry a man that will lie to my face then takes my virginity THEN keeps lying. FUCK YOU CARLOS!!! Fuck you this beautiful as house that breath taking engagement ring, these stupid as tears on my face and all the time I waisted with you!!" She said walking out of the dinning room.
" And by the way i'll find my own ride home." She said.
I tried to reason with her to let me take her home myself but she refused so I just waited quietly in the door way until Ciarra arrived to pick her up. After she left I drove back to my old home. It's a good thing I didn't sell it because I can't live in that new house without the woman I love. My heart shattered into pieces when she said the things she said but I know most of them were out of anger and she had every right to be mad. One thing I do know is I will not give up on her. I will not give up on us I love that woman and she will be mine before its all said and done. I never knew I could need someone as much as I need her in my life and these tears on my face are a clear indication that I fucked up bad. The million dollar question now is how am I going to fix it. Damn!
Oh, My!!!! Maddy ain't playing with him poor carlos I kinda feel bad for him!!
