A/N hey I felt really bad about taking so long for the last chapter so I wrote this one really fast it's short and it may have some errors and I'm really sorry. If there is a huge error feel free to message me and tell mencuz I want to fix it. Anyways I may not be able to upload soon but I'll try to get a chapter in next week. If I'm really lucky I'll try to squeeze in a small chapter like tomorrow or something. I think I'm going to have them go back to school or something since they are almost done with winter break. CHAPTER 13
I woke up to Connor beating on my chest screaming, "Wake up you lazy bum! It's Christmas!" He ran out of the room when he realized I was awake and went to disturb our parents.
I slowly dragged myself out of bed and headed downstairs. I sat on the couch and watched in amusement as Connor savagely ripped open his gifts. I laughed to myslelf as he came across a gift that was so much covered in tape that might as well have been the wrapping. He sunk his teeth into the wrapping and barbarically began ripping and tearing at it. I burst into hysterics when he swallowed a piece of tape and began choking.
An hour later all the gifts were opened and everything was cleaned up. I ran upstairs and quickly showered and dressed myself. I threw on a small amount of makeup and put my hair into a messy ponytail. I went back downstairs as my mom laid out "The Battle Plan".
"Okay so I'll take Connor in my car, John, you take yours and Addie you take yours. Let's try to be back in and hour or so. Ready? Break!" She yelled as she burst through the front door, yelling for Connor to hurry. Every year, after we opened our gifts, we each went to our own friends houses and delivered the gifts we had gotten for them.
I climbed into my car and headed in the direction of Margo's house. After quickly giving her the gift I ran to Cameron's. I knew this would be awkward, even more awkward that the delivering of the gift to Margo. Now that was awkward.
I pulled into Cam's driveway and slowly walked to his door. I knocked and waited a moment for him to answer. He answered the door as he rubbed his eyes. I stared at him. He looked fine as he'll with his messy bedhead and his exposed chest. He looked like he had just woken up and the look worked for him.
"Hey," He smiled at me. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to drop this off." I held out the neatly wrapped package.
"Here, come in." He stepped aside and I walked in.
"Where is everyone?" I asked, noticing how quiet it was without Cameron's twin baby sisters crying and bawling.
"Oh, they all headed to Grandma's for the day. They decided to let me sleep since I didn't get alot the other day, seeing as I was with you." He threw me a lopsided grin and I felt myself blush.
"You didn't tell your family did you?" Panic rose in my voice. His parents and older brother had always liked me and o doubt they would if they knew Cameron had cheated on Margo with me.
He laughed. "No, I told them I was with Jake and that his little sister woke us up really early and we hadn't gotten much sleep." Jake was Cameron's best friend and an overall pretty cool guy. He wasn't as good looking as Cam, but he was cute, with his innocent boyish charm and all.
I breathed a sigh of relief. Cameron handed me a package and I gave him a quizzical look. "Open it." I opened the small gift and stared in awe at the small, silver ring with my name engraved into it. I looked on the inside of it and saw, etched in the silver, Love forever, Cameron. I smiled.
I blushed as I handed him his gift and watched him as he opened it. He smiled as he looked at the small chain and charm. "Thanks, I love it." He leaned down to kiss me but I turned my head, causing him to peck my cheek.
"Cameron, um, I don't really feel comfortable with the Margo situation and this," I motioned to us. "and I think, for now, being....intimate isn't the best thing."
He stepped back and I saw a flash of sadness in his eyes. "I understand. But I still want to be with you Addie, no matter what."
I looked up at his face and nodded. "I know. I do too. But I have to go I'm supposed to be home in half and hour and I still need to drop off one more gift." I quickly gave him a hug and stepped outside.
I climbed into my car and headed out towards David's house. When I got there I hurried to his door and knocked. His mom opened the door and I asked if David was there. She nodded quickly and called him down.
"Hey," I greeted, hugging him. "here you go." I thrusted the gift into his hands and watched him open it. He smiled as he pulled out a stuffed animal. A dog, to be more specific. I burst out laughing as he looked at the toy, embarrassed.
"I thought maybe you needed a new one. But here." I handed him a smaller package and he opened this one more cautiously. When he revealed the picture frame with a picture of me and him at the bowling alley he smiled at me. "Thank you, I love it."
"You're welcome. Well I have to go, I need to be home soon." I turned to walked away, but David grabbed my wrist.
"Wait, this is for you." He pulled a nicely wrapped gift from behind him and gave it to me. I opened it and beamed. In the box was a beautiful charm necklace with two charms already on it.
"Its our birthstones. I figured it was a way to sort of keep us always next to each other." I looked up at David and saw a sweet, loving look in his eyes. I leaned in and kissed him on the lips gently.
"Thank you, I love it." I whispered. I headed back to my car and climbed in. I gave a final wave as I drove off and towards my house. Well today had been more than perfect.

I sighed as I put on my pajamas and crawled into bed. The day had been a great one. Nothing had really gone wrong except when Angie, my baby cousin, had spit up on herself and I had to clean up some of it because Aunt Denise had been in the middle of cooking casserole.
After we had all dropped off our gifts to our friends, my family and I had met up back at our house and headed over to my grandparents house. It was kind of a weird tradition, on Christmas eve we went over to one of our grandparents' kids' house (Aunts, uncles, those relatives) and on Christmas day we always went to their house.
I laid my head down on my pillow and closed my eyes, but I couldn't seem to fall asleep. I turned over and grabbed my phone. Maybe I would text someone.
I scrolled through my contacts and instantly picked out Cameron's name. HEY, YOU UP? I asked
A minute later I got a reply. YEAH, WHAT'S UP?
NOTHING, JUST LAYING HERE. I CAN'T FALL ASLEEP.
:) NEITHER CAN I. I HAD TOO MUCH CAFFEINE OR SOMETHING
YA, I BET I DID TOO. I SHOULD BE WORN OUT. I WAS WATCHING KIDS ALL DAY.
YOU'RE GOOD WITH KIDS. THEY LOVE YOU, IT'S ONE OF THE THINGS I ALWAYS LIKED ABOUT YOU.
:) IM NOT THAT GOOD. I LOVE THEM THOUGH.
I CAN TELL.
YEAH, :) WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
TRYING TO SLEEP BUT I'M TOO BUSY THINKING ABOUT YOU.
I felt myself blush and was glad we weren't talking in person.
:) YOU'RE SILLY, YOU WEREN'T THINKING ABOUT ME.
ADDIE, YES I WAS. I THINK ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME. EVEN BEFORE THE INCIDENT WITH MARGO, YOU WERE ALWAYS ON MY MIND. ADDIE I WASN'T LYING WHEN I TOLD YOU I MIGHT BE IN LOVE WITH YOU.
I tried to reply but it seemed impossible and I soon noticed that my hands were shaking. CAM... I didn't know what to say.
I'M SORRY ADDIE, I KNOW YOU DON'T WANT TO HURT MARGO AND NEITHER DO I. I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU FEEL THE WAY YOU DO.
THANKS CAM. Suddenly I felt really drowsy. I looked at the clock and realized we had been texting for about forty five minutes. It was almost midnight. CAM, I'M SUPER TIRED. I'LL TALK TO YOU TOMORROW OKAY. I fell asleep before I could read his reply.
I woke up the next morning and checked my phone, feeling guilty that I had fallen asleep on Cameron. I checked the message he had sent and smiled when I read it. LOVE YOU ADDIE. GOODNIGHT.
